Season so far.

only 1 goal conceded in all competitions. looks VERY promising.

however, scoring goals is still an issue. but in time, i'm sure the players will gel and we will start banging them in!

If you are talking conceding 1 in all competitions, 8 games, is good then you are correct.
You also need to look at scoring in all competitions too. I make that 16 in 8 games, also very good.
We would of scored a few yesterday if the keeper hadn't of had a blinder, like many other keepers seem to against us.
Yesterday showed us a few things. Our signings have improved us in the last 2 games they have featured in and we can now replace game changers with more game changers from the bench.
Things are looking very good in north london at the mo. A win on Saturday and we will be in dreamland.

Davo, have to agree with you on Naughton. I think he's rubbish, and would much have preferred to have seen us retain BAE and send Naughton to Harry's crowd instead. The Lloris handball (let's be honest, it was outside the box!) and then the lackadaisical clearance attempt from the boot of Naughton created 2 of Cardiff's 3 chances in the whole game. He is clearly a liability who hopefully will only get a run out in minor matches.

Great start to the season, but in those 5 games, it is pretty evident where opponents are attacking successfully against us - on the two flanks - and particularly down our left side. Coentrao, Baines, I don't care. Just please get an improvement in there quickly. Rose is an upgrade on Naughton, but he still has room for improvement too. Mind you, I'd probably be an improvement on Naughton. Very much in the Livermore category of, "future international" which no sane person can ever manage to grasp. Taxi for Naughton?

Two things proved today ;
1 - Naughton is sh**e and shouldn't be playing, and
2 - Cardiff have a bloody good keeper!
Still onwards and upwards, not worried what happens Tuesday as long as we beat the Chavs!
Ps . Mr manager, what's with the love for Kane?

I am concerned with our lack of goals ie. 5 for ( 2 of these penalties) in five games and we dominated all five of these games in terms of possession. We are fortunate that our defence has improved dramatically on previous years. We need to be scoring two to three goals a game. I know that teams are parking the bus but we need to be able to beat that What is the problem? We have good wingers, a lethal striker and a marvellous midfield ( probably best in the PR).

The team is still gelling together, the most important thing at the moment is to get the points. When this team is fully together, the goals will flow and it will be a scary outfit

The fact that were still playing attractive football is a bonus

No Defoe today. Anyone know y?
Also Kane on the bench if much rather adi
As he getting shyt loads of money every week

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would rather Coulibaly! What's happened to him Ed, any ideas? {Ed008's Note - Isn't he in the U21's squad?

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe it's because Defoe has been throwing his toys out of his pram recently and his comments about Adebayor and Avb wouldn't of helped. He seems to forget the amount of chances he had and missed last season costing us champions league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defoe is going to start on Tuesday. Hence why Kane is on the bench. It's called rotating the squad!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rabbit, all for rotating the squad but Kane? Oh please!
