Ed008, i see you would opt for huddlestone over sandro mate. Its one of the biggest selection headaches we have especially if we play 442. If i had to choose one it would be sandro but i reckon we really missed hudd last season. Hudd was rubbish when he did comeback last season though. Both of them will expect to start.

But as much as people see this as a bad thing choosing between the two .... This also works to our advantage .. Of they will bust there asses for that spot ... It should raise and keep there form on top...

Rumour has it Spurs are not going for any world class players this year, We will get Adebayour on Season long loan paying half his wages but other than that, thats it.
On the other hand we have been linked with the new Diego Maradonna............... Sorry news just in, its the OLD Maradonna we are going after... Seems like we have no quality barganing chips apart from the bog trotter cup(UEFA Cup)

Disgruntled fan :-(

With Bojan going to Roma, does that now signal Vucinic coming to Spurs?

Harrys hand are tied.

We have not spent anything since the Jan transfer window, the year Harry took over and he had to be given the money to get us out of the s**t. 2 and a half years later we have got Gallas on a free got sandro for 10 mill and vdv( who personally i feel has made us go backwards we play 442 not 451) for 8 mill.

Levy sat on his hands all last summer instead of playing top whack for a top striker and it has come back to bite him on the arse

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Backwards....? If we were going backwards we would never of been in the Champs league. Have you actually watched any of our games? If we'd played 4-4-2 with our pants strikers we'd be holding up the Championship not battling for the top of the prem...

Agree5 Disagree4

That little summary was soooooo childish. Lets sell vdv then, would that suit you.......? No course not. fool.

Agree0 Disagree6

We qualified for the CL without VDV, we scored goals for fun the season before without VDV, we didnt qualify for the CL with VDV, we didnt score goals for fun with VDV. ive watched loads of spurs for the past 31 years forgotten more than you will ever know about spurs. if you went to the lane between october and march the season gone you would hear the whole ground moaning that VDV was a passenger and the games just passed him by. when he's good he's good but when he's bad he's a liability. I also blame levy , we have battled to make the promised land for years and when we finally made it we decided to stop and look at ourselves to see how pretty we looked up on our perch instead of splashing the cash to help us stay there for years. we only had 3 wins from the bottom 7 teams last year..3 wins from 14 games we should have pissed qualifying for the CL...i blame levy harry and VDV in that order

Agree7 Disagree1

Haha VDV has been one of our best players, he was also nominated for the PFA player of the year, VDV was the whole reason we got fith last season, Without him and his goals we would be mid table. the whole reason we scored a load of goals last season and not this one was because all of our strikers were on form. but this season Defoe had been injured till December, Crouch was completely out of form from the world cup, Lennon had a slow start, we were knackered from all the Champions League games we had which we didn't have the following season, our goalkeeper made so many mistakes that if he didn't make them we would be third, Harry made some poor desions like not playing Krancjar. its hardly VDV fault, he is one of the least to blame of last season. Also i can't belive you say VDV was liability i was there the whole of last season and the season before and VDV (apart from Bale, Modric and Dawson) has been one of our stand out performers this season. I can only think of one game i watched him have were he was poor and that was against Fc Twente(excuse spelling). in that match he missed a pen and got sent off but still tried to give his all and he managed to score. I am really gobsmacked you think this the prem has improved over the last year and with Man City spending millions and millions its hardly a surprise they manged to tip us to the post

Blaming VDV is silly, he is one of our best players and is an ambassador for the club to bring in great players, Robben, Affilay and Vucinic are a few of our targets and VDV is clearly a plus side to join us

Folgate

Agree0 Disagree3

He still does not fit..... we play 433 or 451 to suit VDV where as we are much more potent with 442 with 2 out and out wingers, i have to disagree with your statement that we finished 5 th because of VDV. we finished 5th cause we could not score goals because of the system we played. the prem was piss poor last yr, city played with 3 defensive midfielders all season and we battered them home and away, chelsea didnt win for 2 months united didnt win away till november and arsenal didnt turn up after birmingham beat them in the carling cup and we still couldnt finish 4th. Shocking season in my opinion

Wembley Hotspur

Agree5 Disagree1

What shocking compared to every other season we have ever had (apart from the 4th place finish)

Agree3 Disagree1

Wembley Hotspur? Yeah right more like a Woolwich Goner. I know its hard to use a keypad with one hand up your ass. What a silly little excuse for a supporter you are. Go and do one...TOOL.

Agree with azza over andros. Think these young guys can play in europe and fA and carling cups for us with one two exp players. Think we should arange many friendlies for them too.
Robben would be great cos his ball control is second only to messi and is very fast 28 goals in 38 games for bayern impressive.
Think llorente would be better than rossi cos of his height. Think vdv would be good playing off him.
To the guy who said bentley is good:
I think that bentley niko pienaar keane jj etc have some untapped potential even gio. Think loaning naughton was right cos we have walker and charlie this season.
I am expecting a few big signings coming.
We need a cb .
What do you think ed {Ed008's Note - Totally agree with you shame Dos Santos looks likely to go quality player never given the chance.

If the new kid souleymane is any good why did we get him for so little? Someone on here has quoted 1.5 million yet southampton want 12 mill for oxlaide chamberlain who is a year older?

Rufus

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Because he is a youth player and you can offer him a contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have real faith this kid will grow into a top world class player. His goals in the U17 World cup were as good as any senior player in the world. As for the reason we got him so cheap, he was linked with madrid and inter but that was just the press stirring it up. No one heard about our interest and levy acted very quickly in tying it up before the lads name started to make the front pages. Amazing signing

Agree1 Disagree0

Scored a goal on his debut for the reserves i think

Personally i would like to see bojan from barcelona sign for us or even a loan spell even more so as barca has now bought sanchez moving bojan futher down the pecking order already behind messi, david villa and pedro and now behind sanchez, probably wont happen but would be great for us

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Although he signed for Roma

A way to pay robbens wages could be by giving him a nice signing on fee
