Looks like we missed out on willian to chelsea he does a 2 day medical and says i'm looking at my options what a rubbish excuse more like levy won't pay u the wages u want and your agent signing fee? So what now for avb and spurs bales going and willian not signing for spurs and lamela not comeing??

Pretty gutted about William. All sports media were reporting it as done. Sky even had a quote from the player. I think this shows transfer window is big business and it won't be closed befour season as it should be because it generates so much intrest. They now coined the phrase in advanced talks. The times had hazard as agreed too join spurs. Villa was signing. I think media has lost a lot of credibility from all this

I am not disappointed that Willian is talking to Chelsea. I felt he was overpriced at £30 million. I would also question his commitment, ie. everything agreed, medical passed but he hesitates! Good riddance. Let him warm the Chelsea bench for a few games. The more Chelsea sign the more discontent from the ones warming the bench. On a different none, We need a left back. Rose was poor defending tonight against a mediocre team. All the Dynamo pressure came from his wing

I agree with your comment Pauli. I believe Chelsea are trying to sign him because they feel threatened by us. I mean let's get it right their squad is already loaded with these creative midfielders, hazard, mata ect. My only worry is now that if this is true that Gareth bale will sign for Real Madrid tomorrow will we have time to agree another big name signing to take his place as I thought this was the reason willian was supposedly coming in

Muller, I done exactly the same thing last night fella had a look on YouTube don't get me wrong I've seen him before but in all honesty them clips are not worth 30mil . If he was that good wouldn't he be in the national team.

But - if i'm to be truthful I'm a bit pissed off as he is better than we've got.

Another But - I'd rather the young boy from Roma, again haven't seen enough of him, but his goal scoring record in Serie A is top draw. I hope this deal happens.

I would take Lamela & Eriksen over Willian and any other combination. If Spurs can land those two, then that will be the best outcome in my opinion.
Would still happily take Willian as he is a quality, he might be a bit of a mercenary but he does have the talent to back it up.

I agree totally, if Willian is keeping his options open he obviously can't be that bothered about playing for us, and if that's the case I wouldn't want him anyway. We need everyone showing the same level of commitment as Scott Parker did for us(but hopefully with some football and end product there too!). Also agree about Rose, good going forwards, not so sure about his defending?

Agreed DR-THFC, Lamela all the way! A defender and maybe a striker ( no idea who, Rebic maybe?) and I'm happy!

Also agree with Pauli, definitely overpriced at £30 million, hardly seems committed to the cause.25 years old but only 2 caps for the senior Brazil team and not in their 22 man squad for their International matches next month, that speaks volumes!There are better players at better value out there.

Erik Lamela's brother (Brian) has tweeted that Erik is in London. Who knows how reliable that is, i'd be tempted to see how much rubbish I could get in the press in his position.

Would be a great signing. Overpriced, but hey the fees being quoted for bale are just as ridiculous.

Told you levy was and is very shrewd, why sell to Madrid with installments when someone pays the whole lot up up front that is only possible with Monaco or PSG, levy has one coming from left field no one saw coming especially bale or Madrid,

Looks like the Lamela transfer is just spectulation as there seems to be a lot of conflicting news coming out now.

I have heard a rumour that Willian has put the SPurs transfer on hold for the time being as another club has now expressed an interest in signing him, this team has CL football to offer, the rumour I have heard is that it is Chavski that have tabled the offer. do the eds know anything of this?

I'm more confident on the lamela deal than the Willian, accepts offer has medical then chooses to wait and see if other clubs come in for him! Stinks!

Lfc fan here, fair play that you out bid us for Willian so no hard feelings but I have to ask wtf is this guy considering his options for? Before rival fans start saying we're bitter following today's Willian and Chelski rumours, they should read posts like these prior to that. Quite a few of us aren't sure about Willian. Go back further and you'll find me saying £15m fine, £20-25m no way.

Everton fan here, really do think spurs have a chance of the leauge this year bales gone for contreo and 93m so use can sign William and lamela for about 50-70 m and spend another 10m on a new centre half if I was a spurs fan I'd be excited.

Mr g, bale was being loaned as was going to be sold by redknapp.
He only played because benni (I think) got injured and the rest is history.
I'm sorry but Harry and his stooges did not see bales future at spurs.
That is a well known fact.

Harry Redknapp was a Spurs manager, and you would do well to respect him regardless of your own prejudices. He did a fantastic job at Spurs, and I would read all the hype you have read in the newspapers.

His style was built around building teams with his loyal group of players. It was no surprise Parker, Defoe, Crouch and others followed him around. His philosophy for the youth was to loan them until they shine, and only then given then their chance.

I am not a big Redknapp fan to be honest, I would question some decisions and tactics. However, there is very little doubt he played a major part in our recent success.

Thank you Harry for your time at Spurs, I wish others had a lite more respect for you.
