Well if a Club is silly enough to pay £60million+ for bale, then I think levy should spend every penny on avb's mate Hulk.
He would scare the sh. ite out of a lot of premiership defenders.

hulk is a real deal.
but he has prroved he is greedy.
so not more than 25 mill.
he is desperate to come to England.
Him on the left or right would be awesome.
If we need consistent top 4 every year.
we need to play more attacking and score loads of gaols.
4-3-3 will work.
with hulk up front. still need another striker.

Deserved a draw tonite and to go through!
But we have no chance of going any further or finishing 4th we have no strikers Adi is a disgrace even if a striker is having a bad spell in front of goal you still have to try - chase - compete.
Levy spend some money on a striker who
1) links up play
2) chases, battles and looks like a team player
3) shoots
4) is better than Adi, Pav, Crouch, and Bent.

Adebayor and Dempsey are pure rubbish. Get in Dembele. Levy you should of brought a striker.

dempsy + sig = adrian lopez. in terms of money.
we sould have saved the wages and played better.
dempsey was always a big fish in a small pond. with already crossed 30 age. no resale value.
sig. was never my choice.
when you have holtby in your sight. why did we bought sig paying money.

Gooners out of cup and most likely out of Europe. They can now give 100% to C L qualification. I hope that last minute goal tonight does not leave us with too many games and lose out to Gooners for the fourth spot. Inter Milan will be huge and very exhausting. Not sure if I am pleased or disappointed that we go through.

What game was you watching BAE didn't do anything wrong - Gallas was rubbish and Walker just can't defend!

Bae was miles off the mark never near enough to his man as per, I will say he is coming back from injury still so may need a bit of time but untilhe was told to go forward he was no where near tight enough. fortunately when he was miles off his marker in the first half and they played it out to the layer bae was supposed to be marking he was offside otherwise he was through due to crap marking

Nothing wrong? 2nd half AVB pushed him further forward, every opportunity he got to cross he kept cutting back inside, then back outside, inside, outside. then lost it

Parker always has been totally over rated, runs around like a headless chicken. Sort of reminds me of Bruce Wilkins on speed!

I agree, I have noticed lately that all he does is run 5 yards and then run in a circle back to where he started he ran in a circle about 20 times tonight. also BAE was dreadful, but hey ho solid win!

Walker's positioning is not great, but his pace usually gets him out of trouble for it. He's still a young player and defenders don't usually hit peak until late 20's so plenty of room for him to improve yet. Still a good player but he has stuff to work on (especially when the ball is crossed to him at the back post).
BAE defended a bit better, but there are real issues when he gets on the ball as he just delays too long. Can't totally blame him for that as I thought they were all at fault for the slow tempo, but I can blame him for his terrible crossing tonight.
Teams have worked us out and will just defend deep for the rest of the season, and that means our full backs will have the space (as Bale / Lennon will be double marked) so we need them to hit form asap.

Is it just me or can someone explain why we wasted �5 mill on that waste of space Ade? Not a Dempsey lover but even he must be better than this?

I thought Ade showed a lot of quality in the first half, faded in the second maybe. I didn't think it was a great performance but one that shows maybe our "striker crisis" isn't that bad. I think Dempsy does give us a option as a sub because he's always looking to score and can nick a goal.

Not really, but at least he plays for the team, still think there is a lot more to come there! But Ade is a mercenary and Dempsey is a squad player at best
