Just a thought, and I am prepared to be shot down, but I would like to see us set up like this tomorrow: Lloris, Naughton, Caulker and Vert, BAE, Parker and Dembele, with Lennon, Walker and Bale all swapping positions behind Defoe. Just feel that both Utd fullbacks have speed but as Gareth showed at OT the centre backs have no speed. Hit em and hit em bloody hard. I know AVB would never do this.Also for a laugh have Fryers on the bench.

Also Damiao, Willian, Sneijder, Llorente, Negredo and Moutinho will be confirmed just before kick off tomorrow, that's from a very good source, think he called himself Heinz.

I think I followed through after giggling at this.

Delyid, Sounds pretty good but walker doesn't know how to run with the ball or put in a quality cross. His a good attacking fullback and I think that's how it should stay to be honest. We should let evra worry about the inform lennon.

A relation of one of the Editors sadly died a while back in a swimming pool, he was only 12, but could have been saved with a diffibulator. His father is trying to get support for an e-petition for diffibulators to be available in all public buildings. If this is something you consider worthwhile, perhaps you would think about signing it:

According to a few reports on the interweb, Damiao deal is being held up not by fee's and third party payments but the fact that he doesn't qualify for a UK work permit.

Apparently if he came to the UK it would be based on applying for a special dispensation permit.

Apparently Loserpool have also entered the race for him but internaticional wouldn't accept an I.O.U.

What do you think of this eds any truth in it thanks {Ed002's Note - No. This is probably nonsense from Twitter. WonderDogSpark is the only source of good Liverpool transfer news and the one we use on Twitter.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If there were to be a deal in place the work permits for uk are not a large issue there are numerous different types of permit and these are easily renewed or changed should you or your employer have sufficient funds.
I deal with visas all over the world so know this shouldn't be an issue.

Is it correct its something to do with how many times you have played for your country? witch damiao has done enough now? {Ed002's Note - The situation with work permits is that a player will be granted one if (a) he has played 75% of games at full international level for two years for a country ranked reasonably high up, or (b) if an exemption is applied for and granted under the "exceptional talent" provisions. For example, if a case is made to the authorities that a young South American is a demonstrable talent and clearly one for the future, it should be reasonably easy to have an exemption granted. If however, a pretty much run of the mill or average player was being bought and it was clear they are not appreciably better than those which could be found locally, or are being bought because they are cheap, then it will be much more difficult to obtain a work permit. The downside of the system in the UK is that the "bigger" English clubs can cherry pick the decent talent available and can obtain exemptions, and the rest of the players are assumed not to be talented enough for an exemption (as Chelsea or Manchester United etc. don't want them) and therefore obtaining the exemption is much tougher. Some players can obtain work permits through their parents or grand parents being English.}

Why are we talking about DAMAIO getting a work permit.
He won't need one!!
He ain't coming...

Hi ed 02

There is one usuall way an international sportsman can get a uk visa but in reality there are 4-6 other options that would not stall a process should criteria not be met for the preferred.

If I were sending someone to USA I would need need a p1 a, b, see or o1 a, b, see each case is unique, the same applies for internationals coming into uk.

Most of my work is based on music and film clients but have occasionally needed to supply documents to help sportsmen acquire visas.

LASpur {Ed002's Note - These Visas are for short visits (in competion or for concert tours) - this is nothing to do with the work permits required to stay, live and work here. I myself have a visa and work permit to be in England.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed

I know what you mean but visas can be renewed I am on a 5 yearly o1a and have to renew as I won't ever qualify for a permeant visa. The same applies to short stays etc. just work on a basis of renewing a visa

LASpur {Ed002's Note - I really don't think you understand at all about the situation with Work Permits for players. We shall just drop this matter.}
