Liverpool fan here, do you feel Townsend is holding ye back atm? Although I rate him highly I think he is too selfish because he wants to stay in the England team. What are your thoughts?
Agree 100%. I think he has seen wot bale done season and now wants some of it and shoots at every opportunity.
He is not as good and is a bench player at best. I responded to the above post and forgot all about him in my response. In my opinion, he is not a starter but AVB seems to love him, just like Siggs.
While AVB continues to play him on the right, or even in the team, we will suffer! Like Defoe he thinks of only one person, himself and staying in the headlines . While we play him and Siggy in the team, there isn't any point in playing a CF as neither of them know what a CF is supposed to do!
