Modric showed his class at the Euro's so Ed who do you think can possibly fill his boots at Spurs?? {Ed001's Note - I am not sure I have seen anyone who can recently. He is a special player. I think it will take someone young stepping up their game and playing at a higher level.}

Blanc rumours makes sense when Levy sacked Ramos and appointed Harry it was done and dusted overnight couldn't work out why no replacement was put in place for Harry but waiting for Euro's to finish makes sense where as AVB surely would have been installed by now

I believe that Bentley and GDS are quality players who have failed to produce while they have been at Spurs.
Isn't it possible that a new manager could get more out of these two (especially GDS). HR obviously didn't like them and the feeling was probably mutual.
They could be like two new signings if their potential was unleashed (and their attitudes changed)!!
Whoever the manager is I hope they are given the time to build a squad they want and not sacked next season if we finish outside champions league players. We need stabililty and not a return to a new manager every other season.

Oh it's a mutiny now is it ? Well the day we all let players on £60k a week plus start deciding who they will and will not play for is the day to resign from the PL and just give up. When I was a kid it was every schoolboys dream to be a proffessional footballer. So message to Spurs players one and all.......Most of you won't even get on the bench at City Man U or Chelsea so if you don't wish to play for Spurs then do us all huge favour....write out your transfer request and pack you kit up and do one....or better still just tell Mr Levy that you don't want to play and if I were him I would make you ALL see out your contracts in the West Stand. Mutiny.....you lot of overpaid T*****ers want to get real.....your nothing and there are dozens of Modrics,Bale's and VDV out there who would give their right arm to wear that shirt. perhaps if you showed the same amount of grit and determination to resist our new coach when your busy throwing away a two goal lead at the Emirates or playing like rubbish in the FA Cup Semi Final or throwing a 12 point lead over the Gooners then we might not have got to this position. Will all you lot stop weeping for Redknapp. He would have taken the England job he has admitted it. And why did nt he get it ? Because his potential employer The FA wanted a dog to wag the tail not a tail to wag the dog.

And so it begins.
All this talk about wont happen at Spurs cause the players havent big egos etc etc.
Near enough all footballers have too high opinion of themselves and no loyality ver rearly will they not chase the money.
Agree2

Totally agree with poster , if they wont play , chuck them in the reserves . It was obvious who run Chaavski , Terry and his cronies . Once they realised that their time was coming to an end , they threw their dummies out of the pram and put in piss poor performances . Amazingly once AVB had gone , that same bunch of players picked up their performances isnt it !!!
Davo
Agree2
Disagree1
Doesnt work like that. The reality is that players are aid such vast sums that you quite simply cant afford to put them in the reserves to rot you have to try and get them off the wage bill.
Agree0
Disagree2
These over paid pampered super stars would soon get the message if more managers stood up to them . Whether they are paid a lot or not , when they are in the reserves and not getting the limelight they crave , they will soon sort themselves out . Its time they learnt who pays the wages , holds the trump cards !!

Anyone see the David gold interview on sky. OMG, that bloke really comes from the HR school of putting your foot in it. The wet spam owner really is a piece of work.
Those 3 who run that club are an embarassment to football.
I really hope they go down, get that Olympic stadium and play championship football watched by 3 man and a dog.
I'm just waiting for their fans to join ars and chavski fans and start bleating too.

I see Redpratts been at it again, " I wouldn't swap our (England) front 6 for anyone even Spain ". Wow what is it with this man, this after claiming the CL isn't important! Completely and utterly deluded rubbish. It does prove one thing however, he couldn't have possibly been guilty of tax fraud or what ever it was, he is truely far to stupid!

Am I the only person who hates the idea of AVB taking over? The guy is a tube!! Everyone raves about the job he did at Porto, but he had Hulk and falcao is a second rate league.
He came to the PL and became the second biggest punchline in England after Keane. He was tactically inept often for chelski and an awful man manager....So why in the name of all that is holy would anyone want this guy in charge???
All those person gooners and chavs will be right if we choose AVB, star players will leave and we'll slide back down the league, mark my words.
An extremely worried Steed

Your not alone Steed, I feel the same.
If it is to be AVB, then we'll have to give him a chance and get behind him but, I fear that 4th to mid table wont be far away, not to mention a mass exidous of our most valuable players....
God I hope i'm wrong. Only time will tell.

AVB was on a hiding to nothing at chavski, anyone who knows football, knows that Terry & Co run the club the manager is purely a figure head, hence why RDM has done pretty well. AVB is highly regarded throughout football, by the likes of Mourinho and Fergie. Strange that when AVB was in charge and chavski played bigger teams they looked completely different to when they played lesser clubs. AVB is tactically very good, not sure about man managment, but his task at chavski was to whilst winning the league and CL completely overhaul an aging chavski team, something the players didn't accept. That being said still not sure he is the man for spurs. Who ever it will be Levy needs to hurry up, cos the season is less than 7 weeks away.

Daniel Levy would have parted company with the most successful manager for a generation without having something up his sleeve. He must have a plan.
Considering that he has been looking at possible candidates since Harry was first linked witrh England back in Febuary, i would not be surprised if whom ever it was that posted in here that our next manager has all ready agreed to join was correct. If it was to be AVB, surely it would have been made official by now? which leads me to 2 conclusions -
1. It wont be Moyes after all (even though i was so sure it would be)
2. The next man to be in the WHL hotseat, as stated by someone else, is all ready contracted until after the Euros. Having seen how much we fell apart thinking that our manager was going to leave and not wanting the same to happen at the Euros, whomever it is may ( i said MAY) have signed up with us with a confidentality clause inserted to cover the period up to the competitions conclusion.
Daniel wouldnt think twice about having discussions with an other manager whilst one is still in charge (Jol and Ramos). I cant see what else is causing the hold up.
