Souleymane Coulibaly has signed for us, on the tottenham website, he is the so called new drogba, potentially a very good player, but again we are buying potentially good players, I.e ceballos, we need proven players Harry/Daniel, these young boys aren't gonna get us top 4

Hes better than the strikers we have got at the moment

So so so excited about this prospect guv really pleased he chose us, im sure he had interest from bigger clubs like real madrid etc.. but with is he can really be nurtured in to a world class striker

He reminds more of eto. Let's just hope we don't push him to the side and forget about him. Azza

Quote from offiacial website of spurs

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Souleymane Coulibaly to join the Club.

The 16-year-old striker hit nine goals in four games for the Ivory Coast during the recent Under-17 World Cup - which included a hat-trick against Brazil and four against Denmark - to secure the golden boot and equal the tournament record set by former Liverpool striker Florent Sinama Pongolle, who achieved the milestone with three more games ten years ago.

Souleymane had previously been part of the youth team of Italian side AC Siena.

Just saw rossi and llorentes records . Dont think they are much better than what they have to be honest. We just need to revert to a 442 and chose 2 strikers who to play up top and paly them constantly. Keane can score for ireland and in my opinion if he is told he is first choice he can do the same for us too.
Looks like pav has hit some form lately too with 5 in 2
Defoe struggled last season cos he missed hudd and needed a second striker.
Crouchy isnt a goalscoring striker and harry made a mistake playing him uptop alone cos one striker up top means the guy should have class.
Arsenal have v.persie
City ha(d)ve tevez
Chelsea liverpool and utd play 2 and barca 3

Crouchy can be useful though as a sub or against teams like stoke and in the cl
Pav and keanes track record looks bad cos most of their appearences are coming on from the bench. Same goes for niko. If we had used him better we would have been in the CL.
Falcao looks like a class player though 41 goals in 50 games for porto but he has signed ane w contract.
Think we should keep modder

I think if modric wants to go, why not let him. Get pjanic, leon etc. Makes on sense keepin a player who wants to leave. P:S- think happy shud luk at junior hoilett

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Who is happy
Hoillet are you mad we have azza and walker

Agree0 Disagree0

Walker isn't a right midfielder and Hoilett plays left mid

Ed's or anyone do you have a sell on clause % for Taarabt? Because if you do you about to get some money. 17m Euro fee agreed between PSG and QPR. Should have never let Damien Comolli go.

Assuming all your strikers are fit...what is the pecking order in a 4-5-1 formation and in a 4-4-2. And do you expect a reaplacement for woodgate and bassong (if he leaves)

Rafael Benitez (yeah its really me)

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Because Rafael Benitez would say "yeah" instead of "yes" or "yer"

Firstly I will admit I'm a Gooner but my missus is Spurs. Was just wondering what your take is on this Modric situation? My missus thinks you should flog the ungrateful toad to the highest bidder before he spreads disharmony in the squad. She reckons keeping a player who doesn't want to be there will do more damage than good. I am inclined to agree (yes I think Arsenal should flog Fabregas for the most money we can get) but only if you get proper fair price to replace the quality you are losing. Any thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I want to wait and see if all this is a whole heap true that they are unhappy, un loyal, and disruptive. The media/journos are loving this. Harry has said Modders is still the exact same, and wouldnt do such a thing to the team. dunno bout Cesc

Agree0 Disagree2

Modder has had some very bad advice, agent etc. At the end of the day it was about a pay rise. Ive got no time for him Levy is very shrewd and we will drive the price up and sell, if not, we wont. Either way we hold all the cards. simples.

Agree0 Disagree0

U guys like him or still want him thats y u r still trying to cover up him with ..like he had bad advise n all...

n also it doesn't matters what harry thinks...modric is leaving ...y the fook r we running behind him...we have replacement for him in niko ....just get some 20min+ a striker from them....n we will be back in top4 surely
i strictly think personal reasons..likings..thoughts of punishing modric...or pride in forcing him to stay here should be left behind....i fookin care modric i fookin care harry or levy if they dont think abt spurs back in top4 1st of all
