Eds, this is ridiculous why change yod to Yod? yod is historically tied to the club, its an abbreviation of Yiddish which is a language and is no more offensive than any other terminology. would you remove "Kraut" from a post? "Froggy?" "Jew?" Where would the line be drawn? For more decades than i care to mention, Spurs supporters have called themselves the yod Army, blimey, we have even had the Star of David flapping about on terraces in times gone by. yod is not used in an offensive term and, as I myself, are from Jewish stock, my family doesnt find it offensive either. Actually, the only people that tend to take offence at things do so because they believe that they have the moral licence to do so from the people they feel such things offend, they have a duty, they believe, to protect those that dont give a toss anyway....or summat.
So lets not feel that we are saving somebody out there from some sort of moral outrage nor anybody else that thinks they speak on behalf of the slighted

So Espanyol striker Dani Osvaldo has stated he is staying; cross another possible striker off the wanted list..

Having read articles that Harry openly wanted Drogba; why doesn't Levy just do a deal of Modric for 20mil + Drogba? Ed; can you start the ball rolling - hands up if you would shake on that deal..? {Ed001's Note - it would make sense for all parties, IF Drogba would agree to a feasible wage.}

Hmmm not to say I wouldn't like the 'drog' in the team but at 33 how long has he realistically got left at top level, we don't want to be left in the same situation this time next year looking for another striker without the possibility of recouping a large some of money for him.

Sell Modric for £35 miliion + and use the money to bid for Rossi, Higuain, Benzema, Gomez etc at least we'd get a few years out of these guys

£20m+Drog? are you crazy? Whats all this got to do with another striker saying he is staying where he is? If we sell him, just the cash thanks, forget Drogba. Thats something that was dreamed up in the Daily Mail As they just love Spurs on that Newspaper.

Personally i would love to see drogba+defoe paired up? Also we have a good chance to negotiate that deal, , as chelsea really want modric.. Plus drogba would have a point to proove, could fire us into the top 4 again
