Onto the facts about the clubs, Rangers have a fantastic history of success equal to Spurs. They have dominated their league albeit less competitive which is all they can do. They have held their own against top Premiership sides over the last 10 years, and sadly the recent decline in Scottish football is merely financially driven.

So don't abuse him, welcome him with both arms. Rangers are a great club with superb history and are certain to rise again soon.

Totally agree with you ed001 joining english LG is not answere and reserve team football at moment doesn't work no intensity or pace to game, do think spanish clubs have benifited from having b teams play in lower lg. {Ed007's Note - I missed replying to the Scottish guy. Fair enough ed001 your entitled to your opinion but you have to realize im talking about a b team & not the first team, clubs like lvp utd have a massive following in other countries & it wouldn't detract from following of first team, I was aiming question at ed007 more so, can ask ed001 if hes a lvp supporter? You seem to think u have a right to a place in pl ahead of clubs in our lower lgs some of which like shef wed & notts forest ( twice european champs) have a rich history.
This whiffs of arrogance on your part, regarding wesh teams when they entered english lg it was the old system of northern & southern divisions.
They have earned there current status in our lg, so if u want to be part of English divisions u would have to enter at non LG level & work your way ip divisions but im sure u see your self as to big for tjat, but u can't get a large slice of the pie witout earning it.
Then there's the issues of finance are Celtic/rangers in a financial position to pay pl wages, if your honest no. There's also the cost of policing which is not viable, How would the fixtures calendar work at moment liv/ ever utd/city etc wont play at home same day throw in the glasglow clubs not been able to play in same region ie nort east -)London the logistics of travel security is a non-goer.
Then theres the effects it would have on our fellow scottish clubs, it would kill the game up there & clubs would face extinction,do u care about your homeland or is it all about your rangers?
We all realize why u want to join pl as spl has stagnated & needs restructuring but joining pl wont happen. I think a solution would be to 8pl teams utd city eve lvp TOT ars chelski villa or newc have a bteam play in spl : 20 team division & once all teams have met each other once u have a cut off where top 8 play out for spl title while remaining 12 play for another cup.
This would brake the monotony of Celtic /rangers winning everything while improving young Scots players as most of these teams 2nd x1 are better than championship.sides where mast Scottish players move, it would also benefit English sides with squad players getting competitive matches instead of reserve team action. One stipulation would be that English teams play away matches at either nuetral Scottish grounds or north of England ie carlisle middlesboro etc .
