Tonight was a blessing. We got battered and yet no major upset as we went through. It's a wake up call for the rest of the season. hopefully they can realise we have loads to play for and this performance can't happen again. If I'm to have a moan stop rotating play best 11 not many games left.

Well that was garbage, worst I've seen for a long time. Can't remember the last time I've seen so many sideways and backwards passes, hey ho we're through. Absolute MUST WIN against Fulham. Onwards and upwards!

That is the only trouble with having to defend a lead. They don't want to attack incase they get hit on the break.

When is AVB going to learn that Livermore is crap, we can't play him and Parker together and if you add Gallas to the mix we have three players that a 5 year old could out sprint! Add to that one striker that is completely useless and one that has completely lost his form and that is nearly half the team not good enough to wear the shirt. And why is Holtby on the bench so much? At least 3 times the player Siggy is!
Reckon Holtby's got some potential but did you see how many times he slipped over over last night? Don't mean to diss the lad but he must've fallen on his arse five or six times.
I rate siggy performances recently he has added something different is passionate strong bit slower but plenty of technique an holtby must of been wearing the wrong studs or something he fell over far too often

For god sake, what is wrong with you lot.
We have been amazing for the last 4 months.
One bad game and a part game against the scousers and you lot wanna crucify everyone.
We have just got through against Lyon and then inter in this tournament.
Now, if we blow up against Fulham, then start worrying.
We are in a great position in the competitions we are in.
We destroyed inter last week and they where always going to be up for it in front of their own fans. They had nothing to lose by coming out fired up, look at the gooners game last night for an example. If the first leg had been a draw or goons win, then they would not have won last night. They did win, and are still out. We lost and are still through.
Don't forget spurs, through thick and thin!

if we start conceeding 4 goals away we are in deep trouble
We are, at 9pm, the only British team in Fridays draw of any European competition.
A week ago you all would of jumped at the chance of that stat being true.
Lets hope we have a blip in the only game that we could have a blip in.

Love the passion coymfs but still can't be denied we were poor. No fight for most of the game. Way to many players walking about not chasing the ball (tierdness maybe). How many times did cassano cross from exactly the same place and catch our defence out? (We all laughed at arsenal for making the same mistake twice against us).
Saying that I agree, we're through and are genuine contenders to win it.
We are Tottenham. Anything can happen!
Reverse the matches!
We get done 4-1 away in first leg.
Then win 3-0 at home 2nd leg.
The whole team are heroes.
Same scores. Same outcome.
Things aren't all that bad after one crap result.

Personally it wasn't the end result that bothered me it was the lack of effort by most of the players, no desire at times. Walking back to defend, letting players run past them after loosing the ball etc.
You do make a very valid point about reversing the fixtures though and if that had happened we'd all be buzzing right now.

I am Spurs through and through but this the worst so far this season
We don't even deserve extra time, Milan were rubbish at the lane but they had 2/3 one on ones we haven't even looked like scoring. shocking
We need a big big performance Sunday or the slip up may be on again.

Absolutely pathetic. Add Gallas to that list of Defoe, Ade and Livermore being rubbish. The ref is corrupt and inter getting run of the ball but we are pathetic. Everytime Livermore starts we lose.

Agree with previous posts. Dreadful performance tonight against a very poor Inter team. We have conceded 6 goals now in 2 games. I, like the rest of you hope we are not looking at another collapse like the last two years. Extra time is the worst possible nightmare. I can see it not next Sunday after the Fulham match, " the team were tired after Thursday night". I am disappointed in AVB also. Playing the high line when you are 3 up does not make sense. This is where he ran in to trouble Chelsea. I am disgusted and bitterly disappointed.

Further to my earlier post. I still agree with everything I said. 7 goals conceded in two games is just NOT acceptable. Gallas must NEVER play for us again. The only good news from tonight is that we won the tie and should go in to Sundays game with confidence rather then on the back of two bad defeats. Not too sure of AVB's ability to adjust his tactics when the situation requires it. The high line was not suitable for tonight. 3 up away from home, you stifle the opposition, not give them loads of space behind the back four.

Do you really think that bale would move to spain with recently becoming a father and having his family settled? I wouldn't think so but don't know his private business etc. I just don't see moving to another country at this time of family live would suit him but may be me just hoping he doesn't leave.
