THFC4EVER, Joe Lewis is not a chairman for starters, Daniel Levy is. Lewis owns Enic which Levy is the Managing Director of.
Joe Lewis has been to watch Tottenhan once in 3 years! He is an astute business man who brought Tottenham with a plan to sell for a large profit. Part of the plan is to build a new stadium, this makes the club much more attractive to buyers. Roman Abramovich looked at Tottenham first but was put off by our stadium, planning rights and the whole expense.
Joe Lewis has hardly put a penny in for ages, the last spending spree (about 4 years ago) was funded by a share issue. Levy who is regarded as one of the best Economists in the world uses his skills to run the club and more or less balances the books, self sufficiency is how Tottenham are run. Levy does an incredible job considering our stadium size, his job is extremely difficult. Levy will get rewarded big time when Joe Lewis sells. Lewis is in it for the money nothing else.

At the end of the day, Enic is an investment company, so they are going to sell us. We're just worth more if we have regular European football and a new stadium
Spurs Guvnor,
I do apologise, I did mean to say that Joe Lewis is our owner (In a roundabout way), but I still stand firm over the fact that I would rather have him over some of the foreign owners in the EPL with the exception of a few (Which I also said in my original post).
