I feel sorry for every club other than tottenham, even though they've got much better history and stadiums than us we're so much better than Arsenal and United. Purely because we have Gareth Bale. Who isn't overrated in the slightest tbh.

You may have a point. Of course Liverpool EXPECT to win titles, European trophies etc, you had a long run of doing so but that was back in the 70s! ! They were, undoubtedly, the best times for liverpool and since then your success has been very intermittent

Not just the 70's mate, we dominated right through the 80's too. But with the King back in the helm and the owners investment, we'll be back!

If we actually buy these old strikers we are being linked with (klose, forlan) very soon we will be back where we started and we will be left with no ecent strikers when they retire. It is well worth investing in youth - look at andy carroll. to get the best, you often have the pay the cost, and i really hope we do so. If this is the case i would like to see us once again attempt to sign aguero(though he probs won't come) and the two germans, muller and gomez. cheers
