Hey Ed! Could we get an update about Tottenham's transfer window? Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - Steven Sessegnon (RB/CB) another HG player and potentially part of a package with his brother
Nelson Semedo (RB) looks to be too expensive for Spurs at €50M
Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) won't be happening
Max Aarons (RB) seen as a viable option - I am not so sure

Layvin Kurzawa (LB)
Nicolas Tagliafico (LB) no chance
Lucas Digne (LB) very unlikely

Joachim Andersen (CB) long term Spurs interest remains - Sampdoria may be open to a sale but want €40M which strikes Spurs and Milan as very high - player wants Milan but their problems are worsening
Diego Llorente (CB) has been watched by Marseille, Spurs, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, West Ham, Fulham and Sevilla since joining Real Sociadad in the summer - Spurs could be tempted as they expet TA to leave
Nathan Ake (CB)
Michael Keane (CB) emerging but very unlikely option
Matthias Ginter (CB) I am not aware of interest from Liverpool - enquiries from two EPL sides (Spurs and Arsenal) came to nothing. If he did move he would want to be a started which will cut out Bayern, as will him having no interest in being used as cover for multiple positions. He would be expensive and is apparently happy.

Declan Rice (DM/CB) not going to happen
Julian Weigl (DM) not going to happen
Amadou Diawara (DM/CM) a natural replacement for Mousa Dembele but I would doubt Napoli will want to sell and it is hard to see why the player would want to move
Sander Berge (DM/CM) sooner or later someone will snap him up
Stanislav Lobotka (DM/CM) – could be priced out of a move
Ivan Lepinjica (DM) would be one for the future - don't lose sight of him

Soualiho Meite (CM) a realistic long term replacement for Mousa Dembele
Carlos Soler (CM/RM) a Plan B - another that could happen
Eljif Elmas (CM) another contender for happening
Dani Ceballos (CM) would not be cheap but he wants to kick start his career but Spurs will step back if it is going to be an auction
Gedson Fernandes (CM) very, very unlikely
Giovani Lo Celso (CM) after Real Betis signed him and are looking to treble their money (in reality they might be able to double it) but they are wanting €75M (where they are willing to come down to from the full €100M asking price). The interest is down to Spurs alone at the moment in terms of discussions and bids and they are apart in price by €40M - so both parties will need to shift a bit if something is to happen. Payment terms may also be an issue.
Youri Tielemans (CM) I would strike him from the list
Tanguy Ndombele (DM/CM) expensive which is putting clubs off
James Maddison (CM) not going to happen
Victor Camarasa (CM) a cheap option
Adrien Rabiot (CM) strike him from the list - moving elsewhere

Donny van de Beek (AM) a financially viable option but Spurs are not confident that he would want to make the move after showing a preference for another English side and the player will look to stay in Amsterdam for another year unless the club agree to sell him - due to a fear he could end up sitting on the bench elsewhere - expect interest from Barcelona next summer - a maybe at best
Andre Gomes (AM) moving elsewhere - strike him from the list
Bruno Fernandes (AM) - strike him from the list Spurs have called Sporting "amateurs" in the deal over Fernandes and stepped back
Nabil Fekir (AM) watched again - all about balancing funds and considering risks - very unlikely
David Brooks (AM) not first choice, but has been watched - won't happen
Hakim Ziyech (RW/AM) if Christian Eriksen leaves - but still seems unlikely to me
Julian Draxler (AM/LW) is also being offered around - Schalke (interested at the right price), Arsenal, Spurs, RBL and I suspect Liverpool - Player wants to stay in Paris he says

Suso (RW) home grown but looking unlikely to leave as it stands right now
Douglas Costa (RW) €80M asking price will take Spurs out of the market

Ryan Sessegnon (LWB/LW) Spurs will push to complete the deal and to probably look to include his brother in a package - this should happen
Steven Bergwijn (LW/AM) Liverpool, Ajax, Tottenham, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan have been watching - Inter have held discussions, but Liverpool can be discounted
Ryan Fraser (LW) has the advantage of being home grown - but I would strike him from the list
Jota (LW) Benfica don't want to sell as they see his value rising next year
Jack Clarke (LW) another home grown player and another which is achievable
Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld (LW/RW) right footed left winger - would be cover for Mane
Said Benrahma (LW/S/F) Brentford are looking for £25M with Aston Villa, Palace, Spurs and West Ham showing an interest - the question will remain can he step up
Keita Balde (LW) has been offered to Spurs and Wolves but they may not see value in the €40M asking price
Marco Asensio (LW) wanted by MP but the club unwilling to match price - could ask if Real Madrid decide to push for Eriksen - won't happen
Yannick Carrasco (LW) Milan enquired after the overall cost of the player and the wage request completely blew them out of the water - will be offered to other sides - Napoli in case a player were to leave, and Inter but they have other targets - he is now being offered around in England (certainly Arsenal and Spurs) - won't happen

Maxi Gomez (S) I would strike him from the list
Daniel Sturridge (S) if he can stay fit between January and the end of the season, can be seen as a possible Llorente replacement
Aleksandar Mitrovic (S) won't happen
Max Kruse (S) heading elsewhere
Patrick Cutrone (S) Milan want €35M and another side is working on a deal - much is driven by a June 30 deadline
