Just thought I would inform you that whilst I was sat having lunch at my desk, there was a tap tap tap at the window, turning round to see a carrier pigeon with a message tied to it.
On releasing the pigeon and the afore mentioned message, unrolling it and taking in it`s written wonderment. Done in italic writing, and inked with otters tears. The message read thus " Dear fellow believer, I come with tranfer tidings, yes the great one hath returned, the itk messiah, the one true font of all knowledge, THE ORACLE has risen from his internet internment.

Once again I bring you news of a striker, his name Damiao, will sign before the end of the window, he will be followed by an amazing annoucement from our padlocked walletted leader that we are to abandon our historical home and move forthwith to the stadium that is the MOON!.

Obviously at this point I couldn't read anymore so I quickly finished my monster munch (beef if you were wondering) and thought I would spread the word. so please fellow Tots don't shoot the messenger.

Plus that's taken 5 mins out of the transfer window, that us 5 mins closer to starting the season with a certain Mr Gareth Bale still in our ranks.

Im close friends with gareth bale use to be in school together, go and watch him play now and again for spurs, just want you to know he's out in spain at the moment not only talking to real madrid he's also talking to barcelona, I really do hope so because he's to good for the english teams, like we all know all the best players play for barca and real, and I just want to inform you that a agree have been reached with both clubs with barca offering 67m plus villa and tello and real madrid 88m, he been phoning everyone back home who should he join, I said my opinion barca with messi and neymar burr I said your real madrid class, doubt he take my opinion he mps take his families, from his close friend so don't say i'm not because i'm not a low life, just want to say you won't see him again at spurs Next season.

I know this is going to sound like rubbish, but please read on and listen to what I have to say.

I have a good friend who plays for Burton and he grew up with Bale and Walcott. In Fact MP is still good friends with both. Gareth will not be at Spurs next season, he will be leaving. He is very emotional about Spurs and loves all his 'mates' at the club.

Gareth will remain in England according to MP and there are Senior figures in Manchester who see him as the natural Giggs replacement.

He really is going I am afraid so let's move on.

The bale rumours really do need to stop! He and his wife has a new born baby! A mothering instict will tell you that a new mum wants her family around! They will not be moving abroad due to the language difficulties that may occur with a new born?they are a very close family, grandad watches gareths home games, they are always heading back to wales although because of the newborn both parents have been staying rather than them travelling! They will not be able to do this abroad! So at least another year here at spurs?

Tottenham today met with Ajax officials, prior to their game at home to Heerenveen, to discuss the potential transfers of Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen. Their mission is to scout both players in this evenings game, and to sound out the potential for transfers of these players.

Both have been extensively scouted over the last 18 months, and Levy has already approved both within a slightly ambitious acquisition plan. Christian Eriksen had expressed his desire to play for Tottenham, but wanted more assurance in repsect of Champions League football. Alderweireld is slightly more complex, as the valuation of £6m is less than half of the Ajax valuation.

How important is Man City on Sunday, very says Mr Eriksen.

Spurs are in advanced negotiations with Willian and Damiao, but Levy has implemented others contingency plans after 3 windows of last minute hiccups. I am sure we will pull both of these targets off when the window opens.
