I see we are being linked with Zaza again,

Do any ed's have any information? I believe we were after him last summer as well but an offer was never made.

Also some rumours going around that we are scouting Talisca and Salvio from Benefica - is this true or just lazy journalism as we were at the benefica game scouting?

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure how far along interest has got, but he is certainly on the list of targets for the summer. That is if you are referring to the Italian forward and not some Brazilian I have yet to hear of anyway! You have had him watched repeatedly, Baldini is very keen on him as the first choice addition for the forward role. I believe he would have been brought in last summer if Adebayor or Soldado had gone. That is what I am told anyway. I haven't asked, but I would assume that would go for January as well, that he would have been bid for if you had offloaded either of those two.

You are scouting Benfica, those two you mentioned are being watched, also the centre back Lopez and a youngster called Guedes are of interest. The summer is still a way off though, a lot depends on whether you finish top 4 or not as to who is brought in.}

Thanks Ed001 -

Yes the striker who was co-owned by Juve

I can't see us getting top 4 not to be negative but being realistic.

It worries me that he is baldinis pick as his track record hasn't been great. Just hope mopo gets the final say on any business

{Ed001's Note - Poch does have input at least, not sure about the final say though.}

He is going to Juve in the Summer, despite Spurs offering him a more lucrative deal.

{Ed002's Note - Enquiries have been made for Sassuolo's Zaza by Eintracht Frankfurt and Spurs. Juventus only recently sold the remainder of his rights to Sassuolo and a clause allowing Juventus to match any sale offer exists - so an offer from elsewhere needs to be on the table before that clause can be exercised. Alternatively, Juventus might wish to short-track a deal with Sassuolo at a fixed-price, albeit higher than that which they otherwise might be able to buy him. There is no final agreement at this time.}
