Spurs have turned down Real Madrids final offer for modric. 30million. Move not happening now.

In other words we wont be making any MAJOR signings due to lack of funds, Im begining to doubt Levys committment and desire to make Spurs move forward as a club.

30m was offered which is about £26m. So bloody right it was turned down, 6m more than Downing is taking the p***

Agree3 Disagree4

At the same time, normal, sane clubs' valuations of players cannot be compared to the idiocy of Liverpool.

Agree4 Disagree1

26mill and 2-3 players who want tone there, or one player who isn't interested. If they've pulled out completely and now he's staying then it's a terrible decision. If they were bluffing then it's a good decision.

I see the doom mongers are out there if they wont pay the money they dont get him simple are you lot sure that you are really spurs fans i dont think you are your attitude sucks (i mean you hazzahotspur) inlevywetrust

Agree4 Disagree4

As soon as they offload either Kaka or Sahin, I think they will be back with another offer.

Add Willian,Ade,Damaio and Casear to the team.Sell Luka,Bentley,Jenas,Gomes and maybe one other.Four out four in.Will not happen but would be gr8 if it did.

£35m i reckon we will accept? i think we should and hope we do!

what happened to all the rumours of moutinho? are there any rumours of him going elsewhere or what?

Agree3 Disagree1

Moutinho release price apparently has us looking at options. I doubt we will let Modric go without having someone lined up to replace him whatever price they finally settle.

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard they offered 36.85mill. We accepted but they wanted to pay 6.85 up front then 30 over 4 years. Levy refused point blank. Wants a big down payment. He will not go to RM now. Apparently this was agreed end of last month, neither clubs will back down. In my opinion, RM will move on.

It's being reported that llorente had asked to leave Bilbao. I was just wondering what's the likely asking price and or chances? Any ed's know anything? {Ed001's Note - only that Bilbao made a huge mistake in letting Bielsa go and that the whole club is in danger of disintegrating right now. Llorente has a buyout round about 36m I believe.}

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Refused to sign a contract extension, so could go for a much cheaper fee for someone who only has a year left in his contract rather than lose him on a free. Could be half that, maybe 20 max would do it. It's all depending on who comes in for him. I hope we get Leandro and I hope his performance at the Olympics isn't driving up the price. Cause I'm sure more clubs are interested now.

Agree3 Disagree2

We are not after llorente . Lets wait for the olympics to finish which probably where some of our potential buys are participating in and hope levy offers the right cash and not get pipped by other clubs. Could even be a name not linked with us before. Adebayor might even do uturn still once him and the bench become best friends or the stands at man city lol

Agree5 Disagree4

Be tough to sign him at that price when Man U and Juve also rumored to be interested.

Agree1 Disagree2

Levy does NOT have the ambition for such a signing. He gives us false hope year after year.He shows "an interest" but fails to deliver because he is too mean. Please step down or sit tight for another trophyless season Spurs fans.

Agree6 Disagree0

Llorente only got 1 year left on his contract so will be available for a lot less or they risk him leaving for free which is something modric would love to do haha

A reporter this evening close to AVB has said that damiao deal is almost done should be done before newcastle match,source..........news now.. 101 goals,if this is true i will eat my boxers, but if were still goin for ade aswell would our front 3 be ....bale and damiao on the attacking wings and ade up top or would the 3 be switching postions

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Would have to be Damiao up top as he is the natural goalscorer.

Marc

Agree2 Disagree2

So is ade tho and he wont be happy playing on attacking wing so be interesting to see what way tactics be mite be tho if we get damiao we might pulll the plug on ade deal

Agree1 Disagree0

Ade last season almost seemed to favour going wide .... So it may be a good shout .... Having the front three of bale Damiao
And Ade .... Ade can hold play up whereever he needs to and bring in the likes of vdv and siggy .... It could work nicely

Agree0 Disagree0

IF we had Adebayor and damiao up front we smash teams up..ade had a great amount of assists and damiao scores goals for fun!!i want these two but im not sure it will happern...JKH would also be a decent player 2 get in

DAPZ

Agree3 Disagree2

I will be over the moon and very surprised should we manage to snap up damiao.

We'd be silly if we didnt use our link with internacional and at least bid a respectable 17-18m for him.

He's showing he is coming into true form right about now.

A very sensible buy I feel. I hope Levy shares my opinion!

Agree3 Disagree3

And the way ade drifts around i would agree with marc

bale ld ade

that would be s**t hot
