If we get Vertonghen, Damaio, and Lloris and keep Modric and Bale and another striker like keeping Ade or getting Ba id say that would have been our best transfer window yet. If we cant keep Modric which is likely Krasic and affellay wouldnt be a bad turn over especially with Walker coming up the ranks maybe to RIGHT Mid.

But as we are always seeming to be dreaming at this time of year I expect it to be boring and disappointing I hope its not.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Why walker to right mid? He's doing very well at right back. Sell Modric, spend the money on a replacement and still have money left over for a striker. We would lose a good player but then we could improve in other areas of the pitch

Agree2 Disagree4

Neither Krasic or Affellay play near the same position is modric so tell me who would then be our playmaker?

One of Harry's dodgy deals possibly underway in trying to snatch up the unwanted Kalou on a free under the nose of Newcastles Alan Pardew who is also looking to strengthen upfront, the German outfit Shalke are also reportedly interested, the Ivory Coast international may be tempted with CL football next season.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I actually think Kalou would be a good signing, free transfer good impact player and can play on both wings. I would bet apart from Bale score more goals than any of our other midfielders

Agree8 Disagree3

Completely agree - Kalou would be an excellent signing, proven impact player and completely risk free.

Agree4 Disagree2

Kalou is very overrated and woudnt want him any near a spurs shirt....need to make good signings not average ones..he wasted so many chances last season and we have better bench payers then him

Agree0 Disagree0

How about this for an idea - Seeing as Bale doesnt want to play on he wing anymore and his finishing is rather good, why not play Bale just behind the front man, get Kalou in and play him on he wing instead. Just an idea. I would be interested to hear your views and opinions on this.

Bye Bye Kranjcar, miss you but for £7M i believe we have done great business. We sold him for £5M more. Well Done Levy

Kranjcar a much better player than just a squad player deserves 1st team action which Spurs cant give him so good luck Niko

If Tottenham got £7m for Kranjcar then it was good business for a player that wasn't contributing much, but the BBC reported only £4m. That seems more likely to me.

Tottenham Step Up Pursuit Of £15m Brazilian Striker

The Londoners have been tracking Damiao, 22, for over a year and have seen two formal bids for the Brazilian international rejected by his club, Internacional.

But it is understood that Internacional would be prepared to accept a bid of around £15 million for the powerful forward, who is also admired by Spanish Champions Real Madrid and Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is hoping that Spurs strategic partnership with the Brazilian club, which allows the Premier League club first refusal on Internacional’s players should they meet the asking price, will give the Lilywhites an advantage in the race for his signature.

The clubs reached an £8 million agreement for the transfer of Sandro Raniere in 2010 and the enforcer has become a fan’s favourite at White Hart Lane with a series of impressive performances.

While Damiao is open to a move to Europe this summer, he has previously stated a preference for Italy’s Serie A in the past.

Tim Wiese to Spurs?

In a bid to save themselves from being caught in a bind when Brad Friedel finally decides to hang up his gloves or is deemed no longer worthy of holding on to his spot, Tottenham will look to tempt Tim Wiese away from the Weser Stadion this summer.

Spurs were, and still appear to, be linked with a move for Wiese’s league opponent Rene Adler who is out of favour with Bayer Leverkusen but appear to considering their Bundesliga options.

Milos Krasic to Spurs?

Tottenham's plans for this summer's transfer window look set to be given an early boost after long-term target Milos Krasic issued a come and get me plea to the north London club. However, Krasic turned the move down in order to continue his career in Italy.

It now seems more likely that he will move on this summer, as his agent Vlado Borozan is quoted by Tribal Football as telling TMF: 'Surely he will leave at the end of the season. We're already discussing it.'

Despite January's bid to lure the player to north London being strictly on a loan basis, it is believed that any new offer to Juventus this summer would be with an eye for a permanent transfer.
