I think we should try and sign Rooney. We have a good chance because we are as big a club as Man U and he'd jump at the chance to join us. We'll be the best team in the world soon with Rafa Modric Hud and co playin 4 us. Rooney wud be the final piece of the jigsaw and after him maybe one or two more players like Di Maria and Essien. Chelsea are headin down the hill Essien wud come to us. Deffo have chance of these three £90m shud do th trick. Ed?

Hahah spurs are a bigger club than liverpool. if spurs were to sell their entire team there would be a club in for every player. liverpool on the other hand. .torres, johnson, kuyt and gerrard. and torres looks worse than a player i play on a sunday so a move to spurs would do him good.

wait till the summer, depending on where spurs finish torres will join spurs

WHY would he sell corluka. young, reads the game well. cover for hutton if not cover deffinate starter. in actual fact hes a much better defender then hutton just lacks pace. . taking all that into account he is also luka modrics bets friend. SO why would we offload him. ed has already said that carroll is not interested in us and to be honest im not bothered there are much better strikers out there. come on mate

Torres to spurs don't make me laugh, old twitchy head will need a bloody big brown enelope to buy him, he would have to sell all yr team, lol

Yeh your right crouch can sometimes be very usefull but the majority of times he is useless. he would be a decent sub when were 1-0 down and need to put the ball on someones head.
to be honest carrolls good but there are better players out there. for example hulk, dzeko. . . if we don't get a 6 footer ide love to see someone like aguero at the lane to partner jermain defoe upfronts. jermain defoe always sits on the last line, and aguerro drifts everywhere.

Ed Have you heard any transfer rumours for spurs, all i know is that becks is a certainty because of his grandad situation and ive known that spurs have been monitering richards for months now! carrolls been strongly linked with us! i think that deal has 80% chance of happening! have you got any updates of other players being linked?

jermain {ed's note - I don't believe there is any chance of Carroll happening, he has apparently laughed off the rumours and said he is not interested in leaving while Newcastle remain in the Prem.}
