Arsenal will get and beat Chelsea to the Signature of Modric and Bale for £60m for both. Who Cares about Modric we have two brilliant English talents in Tom Carroll and John Bostock who can fill his boots in the next year or so. we don't need to buy a foreign center mid for 40M when we have two fantastic young English center midfielders.
Bostock is a quality player. when we bought him in 2008, Crystal Palace later stated that, Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea were after him but he decided to join his favorite club Tottenham. Bostock is a brilliant player and is very similar than Huddlestone although he is more attacking than Huddlestone. His long range shooting is brilliant as shown on hid debut for Hull scoring a 30-40 yard screamer. he isn't very defensive minded and he lacks confidence but he can be a fantastic player for us and deserves a few game either in any of the cups or even a few league games.
Tom is the better of the two i rember watching him in a training open day at WHL and he was unbeliveable. It was a boiling day and all our loan players were alowed to train at WHL with the first team and in front of a crowd. He was destroying Dawson, Bassong and Corluka in a training 7 a-side match by going round them time and time again. He also played with Leyton Last season and played in the side that drew with Arsenal and he didn't only just set up Leytons goal but he played a blinder and played out of position. He is an old fashioned center midfielder and he can play left wing as well as center mid. he always gives 100%, he is very good defensively, he has Modric's vision to pick out a wonderful pass and he makes going round people look easy. he isn't a natural born finisher, he is very small and he isn't a strong player like Hudd or Sandro but he is the similar out of him and Bostock to Modric

The comment about Carroll/Bostock is nice and optimistic, but in my opinion quite misinformed.
I have seen quite a lot of both players and, whilst I really rate Carroll, he has a good two or three years before he's ready for regular PL football IMO.
Bostock? Well, I can't see him being with us this time next year - for several reasons. His attitude, his position (where would you play him), his team work (or lack of), etc etc.
Caulker will break through soon, Walker will break through next year with a bit of luck, and Rose will be kept on as competition for BAE.
Townsend will more than likely go on loan again, but has potential. {Ed008's Note - What about Dean Parrett ? Am i only person here who rates him ? Think back to the UEFA Cup game against Shaktar and he was one of our best players on the night.

if modric is off, which seems likely, levy needs to screw as much money as possible for a player on a recently signed 6 yr contract, or preferably , sell him abroad[admittedly for less money] so as not to strengthen our rivals.

My dad is a director at spurs and he told me, levy and harry are expecting another bid from chelsea this week for modric, and they are ready to listen to their offer, but harry wants lampard and drogba, included in any deal. levy will go along with this but as they are on £100,000 plus a week he wants chelsea to pay half of their wages.
