Come on Ed get us Spurs fans excited for Jim White Day. bound to have heard something, anything? need to hear something to get me excited going into tomorrow?!

Haymaker {Ed001's Note - nothing mate, Levy is waiting for a bargain to pounce on, fingers crossed he finds something!}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Did avb really say we were not signing anyone tomorrow. he's either a great bluffer, or were in for the same season end as last term. surely to goodness levy and co, know what us fans know we are crying out for a decent striker. no striker no cl. barb i.o.w.

Agree4 Disagree0

Was Levy at the Norwich game last night does anyone know?? Ed's?? {Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry.}

Ed, apparently, we've accepted a £5mil bid from fulham for huddlestone. Can you confirm it's going through? {Ed001's Note - negotiations are ongoing is all I am told, not sure whether that is Fulham and Spurs or Fulham and Huddlestone though!}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Huddlestone is in fulham as we speak. He'll have a medical tomorrow evening.

Speculation: spurs are to put late bid in for david villa with barca having first refusal on bale when an if spurs sell him

Believable3 Unbelievable17

Even though we have a partnership with real....mentalist.

Yodmark.

Agree5 Disagree4

But haven't Madrid got first refusal on bale?? Such rubbish

Agree6 Disagree3

State why you think Barca would have first option, or a source.

Otherwise, this reaks of troll

Royal Yid

His wife had a baby a day or two ago so they will not be going anywhere

Agree1 Disagree0

Someones been listening to I see. Adrian Durham suggested this at about 4:15 this afternoon. He and Goughie then spent a while debating exactly this.

Seeing as they've been chasing him, wouldn't it be a slap in the face to the woolwich wanderers if it happened!

heard a reliable person on twitter said you might bid 14 million for Sanchez in the next 24 hours.

They paid 26m euros for him so sounds about right for twitter

Ok; now I can state that based on a confirmed story communicated to me by a friend in Brazil, Damiao has said he wants to stay in Brazil until "after the world cup 2014".

No news in any Brazilian media about negotiations; or bids from Spurs.

Therefore, the chap who is claiming Damiao has already signed is a chancer -

This is 100% not going to happen in this window.

Believable14 Unbelievable3

Put your name to your post if you want to make such statements. You are completely wrong and your logic is totally flawed. I didn't see VDV all over the press when he signed, and tonight at 23:00 you will see what shirt he is wearing.

The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree5

Well Oracle Damiao would need to be getting on a plane very shortly then to make the 11pm photo shoot, would you not think?

Tim Vickery "the man in Brazil" - although admitting never rule anything out, confirmed there is not one whisper written of mentioned anywhere that Damaio is leaving..

Now surely if this complex negotiation was ongoing; somebody in Brazil would of got wind of it.. a young 22yr old doesn't just up and vanish over night!!

Please; lets move on.. it is all paper talk - British media end, trying to flog a dead horse till the final bell. Enough!

Apparently Townsend is expected to join QPR on a 6 month loan deal.

With Jenas and Bentley as well!

BBC Sport are saying there's a possible move for Alvaro Pereira with BAE going the other way!

Any news on this eds?

JH {Ed008's Note - Very unlikely. I think it's the press using AVB links to Pereira at his time at Porto and thinking he wants him. I think he's played for Porto and Inter already this season anyways.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Not in the Portuguese league this season, maybe friendlies. . does that still rule him out?

ED when I quoted the possibility of Huddlestone going to Fulham, you laughed at the credibility when I said Levy wanted £10m. Well Fulham have officially started their bidding at £5m and Levy has predictively told them £10m or they have no deal. Knowing they are still flush with the proceeds of the Dembele transfer, I would envisage a deal close to the middle of the two figures at £7.5m.

I believe he would be a loss as he has the making of a really good player, but with the system AVB has deployed it looks like he might be leaving. On a positive note I think Fulham is the ideal place for him to go, playing alongside Berbatov under the caring management of Martin Jol.

Whatever happens I wish Tommy Huddlestone all the best. Look on the bright side he might actually score a goal there and eventually get his hair cut.

The Oracle

Believable6 Unbelievable7

I think Huddlestone isn't that good anymore. He was good few years ago so sell him for 7 million would be a good idea

Agree5 Disagree1

Oracle.....you must be used to people laughing at you.
In any case, expect lots of laughing at you on friday the 1st.
I suspect you will go into hiding (again) but just incase I don't get to say it, have a good Easter, see you in June when the rumours start again.

COYMFS.

Agree8 Disagree1

7.5m for Hudd would be good business for us.

Agree4 Disagree2

I have never been concerned with people laughing at me, the truth is people laughed at Pythagoras when he told the people the world was round.

One thing I have never done is run away and hide, I have always been open, transparent and in the readers words deluded. Anyway Damiao"s signing will be annouced at the 11th hour as I have said all along.

The Oracle

Agree1 Disagree1

You named a price not a club. I had to do the dirty work and my source confirmed he was fulham bound.

The Channeller

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet more BS from oracle. After every window you disappear for 2-3 months while the dust settles so you don't have to answer all people wanting to know why all your predictions failed to materialise.

You've done it every time since I've been on here so to say you don't run and hide is as pathetic and inaccurate as your so called knowledge.

Watching paint dry is more interesting that reading your drivel.

Why did you keep coming back for more? You are well aware that no one is interested in your nonsense and we all mock you. Do yourself (and all of us) a favour and just disappear now will you.

I'm not ITK in any shape or form, but the word on a couple of other forums that I frequent is that we have made enquiries to 3 German clubs: Hamburg, Eintracht Frankfurt and 1899 Hoffenheim.

I don't know what players specifically, but I would hazard a guess at Heung-Min Son, Sebastien Rode and Kevin Volland.

i see tottenham are only going to sign a striker this transfer window. I guess if we are unsuccesful in landing our main targets which are probably negredo and damaio he could go in late for hooper from celtic. If we land our target I expect hooper to go norwich city.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I know that it's been regurgitated hundreds of times and it annoys me as much as anyone else. But signing Damiao would be such a relief, especially if Defoe's pelvic injury does keep him out.
Internacional have just signed a striker from Palmeiras called Luan apparently, so maybe Tottenham have already make a move or are genuinely planning something.
It may be in vain but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

Agree0 Disagree2

If your buying off neil lennon youll need to pay big to get him away as lennon deosnt want to sell and will need to do it today or tomorrow morning as lennon will need to get another player in.. he's not supid all be it he looks it

Agree1 Disagree1

Im hearing a loan striker Callejon or Villa with a push for Willian

Agree1 Disagree1

Hooper won't be going anywhere this late. he is too important to celtic in the CL and it would be too late for celtic to sign a replacement plus celtic are financially well off and don't need the money

Agree3 Disagree1

Who is our main target?

Agree2 Disagree0

Why would hooper leave for europa league when he's in the champs league get real tottenhams

Same reason Holtby did.

I still have my money on Belhanda and Negrado coming to the lane. I am not in the know not like some people claim to be.! But one of these is a dead cert to happen

AMD

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Your not in the know, but you know for certain?

Agree3 Disagree1

Belhanda is going to Fenerbahce and Negredo isn't going to Spurs. If Spurs land any striker before the deadline, count on it being more in the vein of "who the hell is that?" rather than "awesome, can't believe we landed him".

There are reports of Damaio in London, can anyone confirm or deny this?

The Oracle cannot be right after all these years! surely!

Believable4 Unbelievable9

Were more likely to get Negredo than Damaio if we were going to get him we would have to work very hard as there are many people to go through to land this player.
One thing I have heard is that International have been trying to sign a striker but i'm not reading to much into that one.
Have you any more news on the striker front Ed?? {Ed001's Note - nothing new yet.}

Agree0 Disagree2

Don't believe a thing until he is seen with our people.
It's the same every window.
He's coming!!
He's coming!
Then he doesn't come.

Agree4 Disagree3

Dont think so. A loan deal is most likleyto happen for Callejeon from Madrid Levy doesn't like spending in Jan last year proves it Neilsen and Saha lol

Agree4 Disagree2

Where are the reports coming from then ? There is no reports on the net, tv or papers.

Agree2 Disagree0

Thats not intialy correct in the season of 09-10 he spent 45m in Jan

Jon

Agree5 Disagree0

Internacional did sign a new striker, Fica I think his name is.

SpursDave

Agree2 Disagree1

I'll believe it when I see it...as much as I want to see it, there's always that major doubt

Agree1 Disagree2

POTL, a very respected ITK on Spurs Forums, has stated that Damiao is NOT COMING!!

Agree5 Disagree2

Damaio is in London I can confirm. He is currently in the back of my black cab and we are doing laps around WHL just waiting for levy to finalise a few others deals so he can afford to pay me his cab fare!

Agree3 Disagree3

Damiao will stay in Brazil, he wants to stay there for the World Cup, plus he has a third ownership which Levy doesn't like - NO DEAL.

Gary Hooper - In the champions league with Celtic and 1st in the league in SPL, Celtic want 8-10m, can't see it happening - NO DEAL.

Jose Callejion - Due to our partnership with Real Madrid and Jose not playing regularly (not making bench) I can possibly see a last minute loan deal coming into play. -50/50

Willian - Club want £30 mill upfront, end off. - NO DEAL

Agree6 Disagree2

Either Oracle finally got it right, or not . but with only 34 hours to go, we'll soon see!

Will I (amongst others) be apologising to Oracle? Or will he be doing another disappearing act?

Place your bets NOW.

Tick tock..........

Have heard a very disturbing rumour that we are linked with Stephen Fletcher as long as sunderland get danny graham. Somebody please tell me this is not true. Appreciate he better than nothing but only just.

Agree1 Disagree4

Damioa is in london he just signed my beloved spurs shirt with the words NO DEAL ask levy to phone a friend

Agree2 Disagree1

Callejon has played in plenty of games for Real this season, over 30 games starts and subs combined

Agree1 Disagree0

its not happening FACT, we will not be signing Damiao mark my words! 11pm tomorrow night you will see
Much love

Agree2 Disagree1

Is any of them good enough for spurs.

Agree1 Disagree0

I believe Inter have a game today and LD is in the team alongside Forlan.

There is absolutely no way that he will play a game, get on a plane and arrive at Hotspur Way for a medical before the deadline. Even if it were possible it is very unlikely.

So Oracle and The Channeller do you still insist he is coming to Spurs? No I thought not. You are no more ITK as my dog.

Or are you going to suggest that he has already completed his medical?

OK lets all move on now, and realise that there won't be any major signings between now and tomorrow at 11pm.

Bobbyh

Agree2 Disagree1

Bobbyh please don't compare me with the fake that is called the Channeller, and for the record Damiao will be annouced today.

The Oracle

Oh sorry, this generally happens when I read one of oracles posts!!

Ed,

Do you know if we have ACTUALLY put a bid or are serious about a player before the deadline or are the people on here just speaking utter tosh?

WoodyN17 {Ed001's Note - Levy is very much looking to sign someone, but he is trying to get a bargain. If the scouts aren't identifying them, then he can't get them. This does seem to be an issue, there are bargains out there, VDV was one such deal, but he wants every deal to be like that. Sometimes you just can't get those deals and you have to pay a bit more than you would like to get a player you need. Levy will either accept that, or leave Spurs short up front again. He did grab Adebayor in the summer for more than he wanted, so perhaps he will just pay up, I really can't say. It is 100% that Spurs spoke to Sevilla and at least 3 German clubs this January (Hamburg, for Heung-Min Son, and Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim, though I don't know which players the interest was in). Spurs are intent on signing a forward, it is down to them to complete a deal now.}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Cheers Ed

Agree4 Disagree0

Have to agree with the above, we will sign a striker and I hope and pray that it is Negredo of Seville we get. I honestly dont't think we will get Damaio and possibly a smke screen for Negredo. This not an assumption only a hope!
