Loic Remy playing for Marseille tonight so thats him DEFINITELY rued out coming to Spurs...

I know AVB likes a smoke screen but he has said today moutinho, willian and remy won't be coming because of price and with the lloris situation today, I'm not as hopefully and elated as I was last night when the moutinho stuff broke.
I hope levy does something cos, in my opinion, we are 3 quality players away from really challenging and maybe making 4th our own.

Edd what is going on. Are we loosing all our transfer targets..? {Ed008's Note - In what way are the club losing targets ? Don't tell me you consider Carroll a target just cause he joined west ham. Lloris,M'Vila,Afellay ( i think), Llorente, Remy (not convinced), Willian, Moutinho and don't rule out Cabaye. None of these players have joined other clubs i'm sure Levy is working hard to get some of the players above. One of the above i believe is completed i'm told but i'm not gonna confirm as im not 100% sure.

Come on Ed who do you think deal is completed? We know either way it wont be 100% until he is presented...

Also Ba?ag?e has tweeted that Spurs have no interest in Llorente :-( sad news if true...

Bilbao have to sell Llorente before deadline day simple as that they won't get the buyout clause for him they'll lose him for free next season in 4 months time so i'm not ruling out Spurs. Juventus are out of the running i believe so which club will buy him then ?

ED you didn't need to try to divert others attacking you onto me did you. I wrote an article months ago and linked Vertonghen, Sigurdsson, Adebayor, Damiao and added Modric will go and a replacement would be found. So far from the hundreds of rumours linked we have signed Sigurdsson, Vertonghen and Adebayor. Today we will
sign Damiao and Lloris.

Whilst there are others in discussions, most look patchy unless Porto give up the ghost and accept £20m for Moutinho.

When Damiao and Lloris sign today perhaps then you might get your mind around the Olympic Stadium.

All these rumours levy in france we all know were trying Lloris but just short time back we were linked with st eteinne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang he plays number 9 role aswell,he scored two goal last weekend aswell for st eitenne,i think he can play wings too not sure,but if we did get him he be good signing.

I don't think we will sign llorente but I do think we will make some big signings and there is no way levy would be there for the champions league draw. Levy loves a bargin and this is the time where you can sneak in a cheap signing. Also even if we wasn't looking to purchase any players I'm sure he be stuck in talks with Hamburg or someone selling players

I have been told we are not the only one's after him but discussions are on going and are looking positive. He is now the main target and will be the big number 9 everyone is talking about. Also Gio Dos maybe used a part of the deal.

ITK reporting moutinho move is done. What do you think ed? {Ed008's Note - I wouldn't think so just yet I'm not ruling it out just think theirs more to it.

I would be very happy if we got Moutinho. Then we could have 2 decent players for every position:

Walker Daws Vert BAE
Sandro Dembele
Moutinho
Lennon Bale

Naughton Kaboul Gallas Rose
Parker Livermore
Siggy
GDS VDV
Defoe

(I only put Kaboul in the second team because of his injury)

The only positions that looks slightly weak are:
1) LB - I'm not convinced by Rose but I think I read somewhere that Vert can play there too, so maybe that's an option.
2) CB now that Kaboul is injured

Personally, I don't think a new keeper is an absolute priority now. Maybe get one in Jan and phase him in over the second half of the season

I know it's unlikely, but my ideal signings would be Moutinho and Llorente. Maybe stating the obvious, but those two are proven players who would seriously improve our squad

We have Caulker also, proven in EPL last season at Swansea.

So cb is weak ?

Tottenham are reportedly close to signing Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho after agreeing a £24m fee with Porto.
The 25-year-old is due to fly to England on Thursday to discuss personal terms and complete a medical.
Pass-master Moutinho was identified at the beginning of the summer as new head-coach Andre Villas-Boas' top target but a deal looked unlikely, with Porto demanding £30m for the star.
With Friday's transfer deadline fast approaching, it is understood the Portuguese club have lowered their demands, with Spurs set to pay around £18m up-front with the remainder in add-ons.

It now appears Russian side Zenit will land the Brazil international. A source told ESPN: "Despite all the rumours and speculation, no English clubs were bidding for Hulk – he was far too expensive.

Heard on SSN that AVB has categorically confirmed that Spurs will not be bringing in Remy, so reading between the lines, Chelsea, Arsenal or City have beaten us to the punch in terms of offering the reddies. But don't despair! SSN are also suggesting that Spurs are leading the chase for Llorente! Think most of us would prefer the big man to Loic anyway! Go get him DL/AVB! COYS!

Now fellow Spurs fans, I am NOT trying tho be the new Oracle, but I did mention Dembele some weeks ago and I also mentioned about Affelay about 8 weeks ago, not so much about us being interested in him, but more about he would be a good addition, although now DL in france trying to get Remy don't think this will happen now.

Anyway I can confirm that Spurs have offically signed the one and only 'Incredible Hulk', thats right fellow Yids, Lou Ferino has been hired by Spurs to head up our new security at our new training complex LOL!!!, (This is just for fun guys before you all try and shoot me down).

On a serious not with DL in France for Remy does anyone think it spells the end of our links with the likes of Llorente, Hulk, Damiao etc?

Think Remy is realistic and would provide cover for the wings and up top, but would still love an out and out striker, but if we get Remy along with Siggs, Vertonghan, Dembele and maybe Moutinho and Llrois would be a very productive transfer window and I wouldn't even mind if we signed no one else in January!

What is wrong with Dries Mertens of PSV Eindhoven, scored goals for fun last season off the right wing 22 in 42 apps roughly. Tricky winger and got speed and chips in with assists, and wouldnt cost an arm and leg.

For the whole lloris situation, i read somewhere that there was an interview with the chairman and the manager of lyon, the manager said he has a phone call with lloris, and then said 'what was said to between us will be kept between us', so that means that lloris is at least considering a move? fingers crossed!
