according to tv, Leandro Daimao isn't against coming to Spurs even though we don't have a champions League spot. First positive words I've heard from him regarding a move anyway, potential to actually happen this time?
Xspur {Ed008's Note - Nope..

Why a resounding "nope" Ed? I think it will happen! {Ed008's Note - Because for 4 years a certain Mr Oracle has been saying Damiao to Spurs and everybody gets excited only for it not to happen when I've said it won't happen, I think he won't move to Spurs.

How about Muriel? {Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Why no Ed? {Ed002's Note - Spurs has shown no interest and he will likely find a work permit hard to come by.}

IF we did sell bale (which I don't think we will) who would replace him? I'd like hulk. Surely the money gained from bale would cover his transfer/wage

Everybody talking about who we could buy with the Bale money needs to realise Levy WILL NOT reinvest it all into the squad! He may buy a couple of £15-20m players but the rest would be banked. Some cheaper buys may come from other sales funds.
Selling Bale would only buy us the two players we already need with Bale still in the squad.

If we sold Bale for 60m, knowing Levy only 20m or so would be reinvested

Most of the media broadcasting it so hardly a rumour. but Bale subject of £85 million bid from Real.
That's stupid money so Levy should accept, notwithstanding that £60 million of it is being paid over 3 years.
Gives Spurs the chance to bring in at least 4 world class players for that sort of money. Villa and Benteke are musts

Hard to argue with 85m

Too early in the window too accept £85mil. We could try too push that up to £100mill by the time the widow officially opens.

Oh my word you guys have your heads in the clouds, £85million? He is worth about a third of that, there is no way Madrid are stupid enough to waste that much money on him!

It's simple, we don't want to sell, he has a long contract therefore he's worth whatever the club is willing to sell him for. If Torres was worth 50mill then I think your statement is incorrect. If you need me to draw a picture to help you understand then leave me your fax number and I'll send it to you.

Suarez is worth £40m surely he's better than Torres. Therefore doesn't that make your point moot.
Agree0

No Suarez is worth at least 50mill as apparently they won't sell unless it beats the money received from Torres sale. If Liverpool where to sell at 40mill then that is his valuation, as previously stated, a player is worth what the club are willing to sell for.

With Valencia missing out on champions league, ED does this mean soldado will definately leave, and if so the likely hood his destination will be white hart lane? {Ed002's Note - Liverpool did previously show some interest in Soldado as did Napoli, Milan and PSG. However, Valencia wanted him to stay and he signed a new deal in last summer. Spurs are interested now and he is a possibility for the summer.}
