bale to stay till next summer anyway leaving will be parker, huddlestone, livermore, defoe in will come david villa, paulinho, soldado/damaio, and a new left back not sure who were looking at for left back have great faith in levy/baldini/avb and co. coys

Heard that AVB will look at making Danny Rose our left back for the start of next season. Looked good at Sunderland! We'll see how he copes in the AVB system.

Davo, when you say "he looked good in a bad sunderland side" ha wasnt playing against any of the sunderland side he was playing against the same wingers that made ekotto replaceable. his applause was for the way he defended against good players like walcott etc so he as proven himself against the same opposition as next year so the poor sunderland side had nothing to do with his ability to protect his goal and defend to a high standard

Agree a bit with that, but in that team last year you only had to make a couple of good tackles a game to stand out! I am not knocking Rose, just wondering whether he is good enough to be our first choice! Personally I think Fryers is a much better prospect!

Just read a rumor about everton making a 5m bid for KHonda. If he goes to everton and we missed out on this deal I would not be happy with Levy. I was ok with him going to Milan but everton?

RY {Ed002's Note - Honda was close to leaving last summer with a move to Lazio only failing at the last minute and I understand that Lazio would still be interested at the right price. He has had a bit of a strange season in that he has been scoring goals but his performances have been criticised - which seems to have put off Dortmund who have taken a recent look. Valencia have shown interest recently and would like to have him sign a pre-contract in the summer (as he becomes a free agent in January) but I imagine the player will wish to see what options are available. I am told that interest also remains from Fulham and what looks like the two most probable destinations right now, Everton and Milan. Spurs don't come in to the equation at this time.}

Does it really mather how his last season was? We know he have som quality and he will still be a very good sub for a team like os and plus plus plus he will give ous nice money and popularity in Asia. That for one is worth a lot!!
