Townsend could flourish into a top player given a run of games. Looked a decent player in a struggling QPR team. Has pace, strength, skill, plays either flank and young. Hard to replace Bale, but he started slowly with us so could young Andros step up. Have some good youngsters coming through, just need to be given a chance.

Far too greedy wants to make a name for himself. needs to look up and see better pass

Adebayor looks set to join Besiktas so long as they don't get done for match fixing.

"The deal breaker for Adebayor was whether we would play in Europe this season, as soon as we are cleared I will travel to London and complete the deal. "

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Besiktas had appeal refused last Monday, they will not be playing in Europe.

Going to CAS not UEFA court.

When Madrid unveiled that 34m signing (old what's his name) and the fans just chanted for Bale instead Perez realised he'd dropped a boll*** and is trying to desperately to win back fans who are not happy having been battered by Barca. so isn't this when levy tightens his grip on their short and curlies

Have Real bid for Bale?

Believable4 Unbelievable4

No. just flat out rumours atm

Agree5 Disagree6

No formal bid. but I expect Levy is back early from vacation for a reason. I'd bet an approach has been made, just not a formal offer.

Agree2 Disagree2

Really and truly I would just let him go. his head is turning to real madrid because of there dirty tactics and I don't think he would be the same as last year. get di maria and coentrao and just let him go. the more and more madrid come, the more and more I think they will unsettle him.

Agree6 Disagree2

The thing people are failing to think about is that Di Maria and Coentrao will want CL football. I really doubt they will take a pay cut and drop to Europa league to play for us. The best we can currently hope for is a straight cash deal and get 3 or 4 good signings, but without CL this will be hard so I think keeping Bale is the only viable option at this time.

Agree3 Disagree4

I don't understand why he can't just come out and say if he wants to go or stay. I mean it can't be that hard can it. he is the main man at spurs but if he goes madrid he will be (A) in ronaldos shadow (B)one bad game and he will be ''modrics'' lol but yeah he turned up in January but the months before that he didn't play that well and if he does that again then madrid fans will look at $80+wasted.

Agree3 Disagree2

With all the hard times in spain and all of that BS don't you think spending 80+ million on one player is abit crazy.

Agree4 Disagree2

Surely cash in on him now there is no guarantee with injuries form unhappiness financial fair play that come 12 months time he'll be worth even half of what he's worth now, 12 months is a long time in football so I reckon take the 90 mil and run, althoughI not sure I trust aob with it not really like his signings so far apart from Lloris

Agree1 Disagree2

Not liking his signings? Paulinho (box to box creative midfielder who really can do it all)? Chadli (Young, strong, tall and fast, competition for anyone across the front 3)? Soldado (one of the most consistant scorers outside of Messi and Ronaldo in La Liga, 1 goals every 2 games across his entire career) looking likely. He's looking at a left back and possibly another striker. Players we've sceaming for. How can you not like his signings so far?

Dom

Agree4 Disagree0

Sunderland fan here, looking at a left back? does that mean Rose can go?

Agree0 Disagree1

We'll keep Rose, but you can have Assou-Ekotto. I'll drive him up there myself.

Agree1 Disagree1

I'll help towards petrol money
