Dear oh dear spuds..bale is packing his bags...:)
big dickey

Believable12 Unbelievable15

Possibly, but then again so is RVP

Agree19 Disagree11

RVP to whoever pays the most and gives free horse placenta = MCFC. Bale to wherever he plays most = THFC.

Agree8 Disagree3

At least if Levy decides to cash-in on Bale we will get a HUGE fee, but with only one year remaining on RVP's contract he will go for peanuts if he wants to go!

Agree9 Disagree4

Rumour has it is that he can buy out his contract at the end of this season for a mere £4 million......

Naz

Agree4 Disagree1

Was talking about RVP not Bale with that amount

Agree1 Disagree1

Naz I dont think its true about a 4ml buy out clause they would of sold him already if he had, its probably more likely that he has a deal similar to the one Henry had yrs ago where he got 5ml at end of his contract, It's just a way round not giving him 150g a wk on the balance sheet.

Agree1 Disagree0

Naz not that it wouldn't be funny as hell if RVP did that but i thought they couldn't do that till like age 30 ?

Agree1 Disagree0

It's called the Webster clause. Something about if you signed a contract before you are 28, then when you are 28 or older, you can buy out the rest of your contract, in RVP's case, 4 million BUT he has to want to do it.

Naz

Agree1 Disagree2

Bale and Modric will leave and you will get darren ambrose and Matt jarvis instead. Good luck you mugs

Its all well and good everybody taunting Rodgers about, because of the good football swansea play, but in all fairness all the ground work at Swansea was put in by Roberto Martinez, and look how he has done at wigan?
Would we want Martinez at WHL, NO!

Rodgers is a good manager at am average team, but past appointments show that this does not work, look at gerry francis, at least with Moyes he has managed some big teams, although I still do not think Moyes is the answer, But believe this is who we will get.

I think we need a BIG name to attract BIG players and keep our BIG players and try and push on to the next level of trying to be a consistant top 4 side.

Agree with you 100% I have followed spurs for years and have listened for far too long about how important it is to play at the top level. Be in europe every year. Jol top 5 two years in a row (not good enough?) and sacked. Ramos----- enough said. Harry --- well he could still get us forth and blame it on the kings road handbag throwers winning the c/l as not getting there.
Bottom line is we need to show intent. Show we mean business. Show we want to go to the next level. Show we play great football and our happy with a 6 - 0 or a 0 -1 away win. Just as showing that we dont sell our best players (Modric- although IMO I think that was now a mistake). Levy has had poor advice in the past from Wengers mate and we have to shift some dead wood.
PLEASE MR LEVY NOW IS THE THE TIME. SHIFT SOME DEAD WOOD, AND PLEASE OPEN THE PURSE JUST PAY A LITTLE BIT MORE AND TAKE A CHANCE.WE WILL LOVE SPURS NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. WE HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL BE SPURS.

I have to say I think Harrys talking complete b*ll*cks with all this stuff about a bid for Tevez. If you believe the story they approached City for Tevez only to be shocked to discover he was on 200k a week. Well my mum can't stand football and even she knew he was on that sort of money, also did it not occur to Levy and HR that if Adebayor was on mega wages a better player like Tevez was bound to be as well? They also could have asked Adebayor himself what Tevez was on. Add to that the small fact that at the time we seemed genuine title contenders and that City were never going to sell or lend us Tevez under those circumstances in a million years (and again, Levy and HR would have known that) and it becomes clear that Harry is bullsh*tting the fans. Basically I think this is because he knows that for the 2nd season running not reinforcing properly in January has proved disastrous and he's trying to cover his arse. It also begs the question that if we really did have the cash to go for Tevez why did we sign an extremely injury prone striker well into his 30s and a centre back in his 30s who hadnt even had a first team game at a relegation threatened team for over a year on frees when players like Jelavic and Cahill were available at very affordable prices? I think we are having our intelligence insulted here. Thoughts Ed and others?

Believable11 Unbelievable1

I'm sure we would have asked about Tevez it would have been stupid not to, but equally we should have had some options to switch too. Realistically we should have tied up at least one quality striker and one quality winger in summer never mind January, but Jan was an awful window

Agree3 Disagree0

No thoughts TBH, Im sick to death of it all.You have submitted a quality post which is to the point and pretty much bang on the money. I dont see how that could be counter argued.
Super Y*d

If harry looked after the affairs at tottenham as much as he talks to the press then we would be top of the prem, hope he takes the england job and we get in a manager that puts all his efforts into the team and into making great signings instead of talking about the ones that got away.mr levy needs to show the next manager that he is serious about taking spurs to the next level by putting up the cash to actually by the players we want and not to talk about the ones that we didnt get

Agree3 Disagree0

Hit right on the nail ! The bulls**t thats spouted about who we tried for , couldnt afford , didnt want to come , appears after every transfer window when we sign f**k all ! If we could even think about buying Tevez , why did we end up with the crap we did ? Because that has always been Arrys transfer policy in January . Buy players on the decline for part of a season cheaply , no risk ! Only , it has potentially cost us CL football again . Doesnt Levy look a p**ck now . He thought we was guaranteed CL , didnt spend and its come back to bite him on the arse big time ! As good as Levy is , he has f***ed up this time . Now , get rid of del boy , open up the purse strings , and lets hope we get 4th place .

Agree3 Disagree0

We get saha Newcastle get cisse, Enough said. Can Arry attract young players or just 30+ who "can do a job for us"?? LEVY now is the time to show you mean business. But do fans think we should go for broke?? Debate time people!!

Agree2 Disagree0

Been posting on here for a while abt redknapp. believe levy thought hr could achieve success without spending much, theres a difference between not spending much and bringing in oap on a free just to balance the books, those same books that have had pleanty of money coming in but nought going out. no wonder other teams are laughing at us. what with hr and levy at this moment in time we will get no where where does all our money go not on talented and committed players, just a punch of oap who wanted one last pay day levy its time to fire hr put up or bloody well sell up managers chairman and players leave fans stay forever, its just the boys at the top are now taking the p..s out or all thfc fans

Agree0 Disagree0

We went from Tevez 200k a week to Saha 35k.......................Harry is a joke.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't start the whole levy debate
Levy is a frakking superb chairmen
He has on his own accord gone out bought young players * coulibaly *
Other good deals on players VDV
Who has Harry redknapp actually bought in apart From Parker ?
Hr is the one to blame
The only fault he may have is perhaps not
Sorting out hr last season when we dived at the end

Agree2 Disagree0

How can everyone be slating HR hes got us from absolute rubbish being 13/14th to champions league in 2 seasons that is a miracle. TBH he has made amazing signings bringing defoe back and kaboul whos been on form this year. parker is another who has been on fire for us. We've had a great season! yeah i do agree his tactics are debateable i mean defoe is much better then adebayor and we need two strikers the lone striker does not work. however hes been great every season and hes is going nowehere.
