My brother is part of the marketing team at spurs and he says that harry redknapps comments about not needing anyone new were made so that he didn't put a downer on his current players for what they'd just achieved for the club. In truth, the club expect to make 2 big signings to make the step up to the champions league before the transfer deadline. A striker and a top quality midfielder are priorities. Looks like keane will be a fall guy, along with jenas. Diarra or muntari are back on the radar, along with fabiano and a swedish striker from psv (tovoinen ? Excuse the spelling). Very reliable source, told me about gudjohnson last season in november.

Im glad spurs are in the champions league properly now but who will harry sell and bring in? to leave jenas, pavlyuchenko, keane, ohara, bentley, palacios? not sure bout palacios and pavlyuchenko as the will be cup tied for other clubs harry to sign fabiano, l, diarra, van der varrt, suarez, i just hope we sign maybe 3 of these wat u guys think

People can bid what they want. Bale is going nowhere. The lad is priceless. The only people who would be allowed to leave this season should the right offer come in is: pav, keane, bentley, jenas, o'hara. Dont rate bassong but don't think hed be able to leave due to lack of cover.

Fabiano, pletikosa, taylor & n'zogbia, come in! !
