Maybe AVB wants someone to clean the boots. That's the only way I could see Kaka fitting into his system

It really annoys me when people don't sign off. Make up a name and stick to it and put your email address.
It's not difficult. As much you have a go at The Oracle at least he's clever enough to sign off unlike some of you.

If Kaka did arrive it would only be on loan.
Very slim chance that ever happening but due to our connects with Madrid you can never rule it out, particularly with the fringe players.

Thanks Rabbit nice support mate, and totally agree with you.
On the rumour front, you are indeed correct it is a load of old Kaka.

Kaka arriving at Spurs would have to be part of a deal for Bale's Summer transfer.

I can't help thinking that Llorente was a wasted opportunity! Juve have got the Sale of the century there.

Such a shame. He was never gona become a spurs player. Its depressing that we proberly not gona get a striker this month. Utd are to sign zaha I believe in next 48 hours they already have 4 top strikers. i'd love hernandez from utd please. Brilliant striker.

Llorente was never going to sign for us but more to the point why are our scouts not picking up on players like Hernandez, young talented and good enough to be included in match day squads instead of promising youngsters sent out on loan no 1st team chances then sold on

I have been told by my mate who is a fulham fan that there are rumours going around the cottage that jenas and bentley could both be sold or loaned out to them in the next week, I hope this is true

Ed... tell me more about this Soldado interest... too good to be true...! {Ed001's Note - like I said, I don't expect it to amount to anything, he has rebuffed interest in the past from England. Not because of the offer, but because he didn't want to play here, according to his rep. Unless that has changed, which is possible considering Valencia's struggles this season, I wouldn't expect him to be moving to Spurs.}

I don't think it is any surprise that players like Gomes, Jenas, Bentley or even Huddlestone are available for the right price. To be absolutely honest I am not a fan of any of these players in our new system, but they could represent a steal for clubs with lower expectation.
The issue with these players is a combination of lost form due to lack of first team exposure, high wages as a result of previously perceived value, and the transfer prices paid in the first place. This recipe creates an artificial perceived gap between our valuation and those of a prospective buyer.
Time to cut our losses and let at least 3 leave. Here are my estimates at their values, and Everton, Villa, Sunderland, Fulham, QPR, Internaccional or whoever else are welcome to them all.
Gomes - We paid £7.920,000 and he is now worth no more than £2,000,000.
Bentley - We paid £19, 360,000 and he is worth no more than £4,000,000
Jenas - We paid £13, 200,000 and he is worth no more than £4, 500,000
Huddlestone - We paid £4, 136,000 and he is worth about £5, 500,000. I however feel he is worth considerably more and Levy is much closer to £10m in his valuation.
In summary I think we will need to let them go for stupid money if we are to attract a buyer, and someone like Fulham will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Oracle, to say you consider yourself so much in the know, surely you should know that Huddlestone was £2.5m, Gomes was £6.9m, Bentley cost £14m and Jenas was £8m... If what you say is true about Damiao signing for £20m then I suspect we'll get him for about 30 quid considering your pricing is incredibly wrong...

The Oracle,
why would you put silly prices on three player that have less then a year to run on their contracts.
If we do manage to sell them it would be for an 'undisclosed' fee and nowhere near the ridiculous price you seem to think.
The Channeller.

Huddlestone for £10m? you've got to be having a laugh! i'd say definitely no more than £6m
Agree4

And we only paid £7m for jenas
Agree4

We did not pay £19+m for Bentley or £13+m for Jenas and I believe Hudd was nearer £2m. Unless you are adding in total cost after wages etc not quoting transfer fee you are wrong.

I agree totally but gomes I would put at £ 4 mil .bentley £2 mil but I wouldn't swap him for a box of smarties . jenas £2 mil, quite frankly i'd give him away at a car boot sale . huddlestone i'd say £7 mil but I would miss tom, just think a life guru could change huddlestones approach cause he could be special, pretty much run out of time tho .

Your talking about a hand full of players Oracle and your saying a loss of around lets say for arguments sake 20 mill pound I can name 2 players who we have made money on Modric and Berbatov of approx 30 mill plus. So what's your point on cutting our losses for ages now Levy has made millions through good business and now we have someone like Bale brought for around 10 mill and is worth 4 times that now if sold. And also if we can get rid of the players you have mentioned we can afford maybe a top quality signing who demands big wages.

Well said Dom. That was exactly what I was thinking

We can't give Jenas and Bentley away so how can they be worth 9.5million!!!

The prices I quoted are factually 100% accurate. Sorry if you felt we paid less than the figures quoted.
I think the prices are fair for their age and remaining contract term. Remember there are a few clubs that need players like them now not in a year.
Where do you people get your prices from, becasue they are miles out?

Oracle,
How many more times do you have to be told. They won't take a pay-cut when they can sit on the bench and make Premier League money. He's on 45K and Forest kicked in 15K and he couldn't make it there. No-one would offer Jenas 10K a week so where do you think he's going to go for a 1/4 of what he's making now???
Agree2

Oracle, your prices may be 100% accurate on Championship Manager, but please remember, we're in real life now. The level of your idiocy has surpassed what I thought possible.

Dom I have never read anything factual or even remotely intelligent from you. I suggest that you refrain from making stupid uneducated replies and go check the prices out. Perhaps if you studied the financial information you too w old realise that the few you question are all correct.
