Any truth to the holtby rumours of him leaving ed I thought he was a good player but I think he will struggle to get games this season {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Believable1 Unbelievable7

No Holtby is very young still and will play a big part in the clubs future. Wont be playing every week, but sure he will play big part in cup games etc

Agree5 Disagree3

I wouldn't be against him going on loan to another premiership club especially if we do end up with Eriksen.

I'm hearing mamadoh sakho for 8mil any truth in this eds?

Be a solid addition to the back when I lived in france I watched him severely times he is of the same style mould as Ledley king and (forgive me) sol Campbell. {Ed002's Note - Sakho has been on the list of targets for many clubs over the past year or so - Monaco, Arsenal and Lyon have sustained interest in Sakho and there has been some interest from Newcastle, Inter Milan, Manchester City and even possible interest lingering interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. Baader has explained that AC Milan and Liverpool have recently enquired about his availability - but at that time PSG were not keen on selling and the player was then keen to stay. However, Laurent Blanc remains concerned about his attitude and would be willing to let him move on - that could be facilitated after the departure of Leonardo who had been lending him support. Would be an excellent buy for Liverpool if Agger or Skrtel were to move on, and not out of the question - but no offer has been made by the club whilst AC Milan are actively pushing for a deal. Napoli are also considering Sakho as an alternative to Alderweireld but have been put off by the asking price - although they are still seeking a loan. PSG has also offered the player to MIlan but at the asking price they have also said no. PSG has made it clear to the player that he will need to sign a contract extension if he is to be allowed to leave on loan - else he leaves if a buyer can be found, signs a new deal and sorts himself out or sees the coming season out in the reserves.}

Baldini is in Germany atm staying in a nice hotel in Dortmund. Word on the grapevine is that there are advanced talks between us and BVB for Marco Reus, with Lamela already wrapped up

Believable2 Unbelievable15

Think you need to wake up mate your still dreaming. no chance he would come here. if baldini is there then he must be sight seeing or something

Agree9 Disagree2

I'm not trying to be harsh or overly critical, and I'm not insulting the poster but the post itself:

That is the stupidest, most untrue thing I've read on this site all summer.

Dortmund wouldn't sell Reus for 10 times whatever we could offer them, and Lamela, with all of his ownership "issues", is most certainly not wrapped up.

Agree8 Disagree2

Agreed, mate you need to understand football a bit better. Lamela isn't done he's in the Roma squad for this weekends opening game. Can you see. If the deal was all but done he wouldn't be would he. see Bale hasn't been in the squad or team because he's being sold. It's really not that hard to understand.

Agree6 Disagree3

Wow - in a utd fan but interested in other teams rumours, however your replies are a bit harsh! Don't make the Eds not respond as we have suffered in our page! Have a decent bit of banter and a good debate without getting malicious. Fans should be able to post without abuse! That's the while point of the site!

We're all football fans. For what it's worth I think Spurs have a great squad this year. I personally don't rate Paulinho as when I've seen him his first touch doesn't seem the best. I may be wrong though as need to see more games. Anyway, a cental midfield of Dembele and Sandro is class. Add to that Paulinho (I have my doubts but he is still good) and you have a squad changeling for the title! I worn we signed Dembele! Anyway good luck and all be best for the new season!

Capoue is a class act from what iv seen so far

Agree8 Disagree3

Apparently arsenal in for lamela now this is doing my head in could b two players were after both getting taken from us by our rivals

Agree3 Disagree2

Lamela in Roma squad for tomorrow hopefully not a bad sign for us, his manager said he hopes he's stays so maybe there is talks

Agree2 Disagree0

You do realize that Dortmund just announced record profits and more than any premiere league team last year.

They seat 80,000 people and just finished runner up in CL. They are going to allow a top strikers contract expire and lose him on a free rather than take 25 million and sell him to Bayern, so your stuff on Reus is truly bs as they will not even entertain offers for him and he will probably have zero interest in moving. Try again and come up with something more plausible.

Agree5 Disagree2

Unlikely but no smoke without fire!

Agree2 Disagree3

Lamela is in the squad, Bale is in our squad, people need to stop being so stupid over this matter

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't Dortmund also have one of the lowest ticket prices in the bundesliga though so record profits champs league final they've made a lot of money on players so I'd expect that

im hearing that we are interested in Doria a young defender playing in Brazil. Any truth in this Ed? {Ed002's Note - Doria has been subject to unconfirmed interest of Spurs but there is a great deal of interest from elsewhere with discussions taking place with other clubs. I would not hold your breath.}

To people hoping we will get mats, there is no chance Chelsea will deal with us, especially after modric! {Ed002's Note - Chelsea would not be bothered about any grudges, but you are right that Mata won't be moving to Spurs.}

Believable5 Unbelievable2

The special needs one will not sell Mata even if he doesn't rate him as fans will find out "'e's not the Messiah, 'e's a very naughty boy!"(life of Brian).Cheski just buying players so we can't, hope Abramovich doesn't go for our real targets of Cattermole, Barton and Bendtner;)

I think we are missing a trick not signing Eriksen! Think the player would be a better buy than Wilian who doesn't seem to stay long at a club and Eriksen would be cheaper. {Ed002's Note - It can still be done.}

Ed's,

As we will potentially miss out on Willian which I personally don't mind either way, what would be the chances/availability of either Marco Reus or even Mesut Ozil? both IMO are better players as I have seen them both play a lot and not really seen much of Willian.

Not sure what they would cost in wages or tsfr fees though but if I had a choice I would take either or over Willian.

To complete the team for me would be either or players above and Micah Richards. But as I said on another post I would be happy as we are as I believe Lewis Holtby can prove to be a real gem this season if he stays fit. {Ed002's Note - Neither Reus nor Oezil will be moving to Spurs 907.}
