Been hearing a few things that Raheem Stering maybe of some interest at spurs as he has had enough at Liverpool.

Great potential and would be a player right for Spurs but lets hope he is not another Bostock atitude youth.

Naz {Ed001's Note - you mean you have been reading the tabloids?}

Hey Ed,

I don't trust tabloids, they need to tell news to sell news even if it's wrong. Same way as this site runs on rumours, even if it's wrong...

I have a few friends talking about this, but no-one "ITK"

Naz {Ed001's Note - they all read it in the Mirror and it is complete tosh, they claimed Liverpool rejected loan moves, even the lad has pointed out himself on Twitter he is not eligible to make a loan move yet.}

Reports in spain suggesting we are favourites to sign giuseppe rossi this summer, and that we could be close to a cut price deal in the region of 10 mil. would love this to be true, but was under the impression he didnt fancy a return to england. do any of the eds know of any substance in this?

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Not saying this is false, but how would his valuation drop from 27 million in January, to 10 million in the summer?

For the record, I would like him at spurs, I wonder though, would he be a success?

Theyre in trouble financially, but i think that estimation maybe based upon the assumption that they are relegated...fingers crossed the yellow submarine sinks then i guess! {Ed001's Note - they have to sell whether they stay up or not, they are in serious trouble financially.}

Agree0 Disagree3

So could this 10 million number be viable? if so it would be the coup of the century! Just one thing, can he play on his own up front?

Agree0 Disagree3

I believe that he's also out of contract in 12 months. Add this to there well known financial problems, a club somewhere is going to get one hell of a deal. BUT, in his time at Man U and Newcastle he wasn't exactly prolific ( from memory I read elsewhere that his record was no goals for Utd and only one in tweleve for Newcastle). Yes he has done well in Spain, but take away the big two in La Liga and whos left?

We could indeed get him on the cheap - but would he improve our first team? Your thoughts please. Agree or disagree.

Firstly, he can play up front on his own, dont really get this misconception that a striker must be big a strong to play up on his own; look at rvp. Rossi has a great touch, intelligent movement, can run with the ball, pass it and is a great finisher.
Secondly, he was only young when he was in england and i think he has matured, he scores and makes so many goals and is right up there with the best in europe up top.
Saying that, it'll be one hell of a coup for us to pull it off, because most top teams in europe will be interested if he is available.

Agree0 Disagree4

The reason the price could be cheap is that he badly injured his knee a few months back and it'll be touch and go if he manages any games now this season, which in turn will make it unlikely to play in the Euro finals. If he doesn't play no one will really know if he has managed to recover and get his game back on track
That said word in Spain is that he wants to move to Italy with Napoli looking a likely destination

Naz villareal are sitting in 17th place to. He will be available for much less.

I would love to see Rossi at the lane. We could probably sweeten the deal with GDS going the other way.
