Spurs will not sign anyone else this transfer window (besides the deal for Falque that is). Just can't see it happening and this is from a huge spurs supporter!!

Believable10 Unbelievable6

How huge do you have to be to post drivel?

Agree7 Disagree3

Since when has an opinion been drivel? Go back to school and learn some manners son!!

Agree4 Disagree3

I really dont think we need anyone else in, we have done great so far, we should have had something out of sunday, the goal against wolves that was disallowed would have made all the difference and the stoke game was a farce! im not about to start a dossier about our misfortunes this season.....that would be silly. however, to start slagging harry or levy off for not throwing money at "problems" would be very citeh. if someone GREAT comes along then spend the money but the for the likes of dempsey......do me a favour

rufus

Agree3 Disagree2

I did not right the 1st response , but the second one makes no sense.Of course an opinion can be perceived to be drivel ! so maybe you should go back to school Son? English would be a starter for 10!
Anyway i think the OP has got it wrong and will will make at least 1 signing maybe 2 before close.Who? i have no idea but think Levy knows this would kick us on for the final run in.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think his point is who cares how big a spurs fan you are doesn mean your "opinion" (because that's all it was) holds any more weight than someone who is only a bit of a spurs fan! There is no source you have quoted no inside info offered no claims for itk!! Basically they were saying you are boring and mugging you off in front of all your fellow massive spurs fan peers!

Agree0 Disagree1

If arry is in court every day for the next 2 weeks how are we gunna sign anyone? Levy gunna do it without him??

Agree2 Disagree2

Very aggressive tonight!! All i was saying was that i don't think we will sign anyone! If it is drivel (look it up in the dictionary and it is a spoken phrase or written fact, not an opinion) then tell me who we WILL sign?? Lighten up FFS!!

Agree2 Disagree2

I'm with Rufus!
Mo

Agree1 Disagree1

I think we are all still a bit angry after yesterday's nightmare. Deep breath everybody.
Let's hope we get someone in who can give us a boost, someone quality, if not our squad is still good enough to take 3rd at least and that is still great, champions league will allow us a better pick in the summer.
Kabull

Agree1 Disagree1

Our full first team can give anyone a game, however players get tiered and (especially our lot) injured. We just (imo) need one or two players to give us options.

I mean for the man s**ty game we were missing one attacking player, and we looked to our bench.....and saw pavs and nothing else.

The more I think about it the more I like Shaqiri and a striker (hunter). Better to much talent than to little, as long as we sell a couple wages shouldn't be overly affected. Those two in and we have a real shot at the title. COYS.

Steed

Agree1 Disagree1

I think the Pav extension proves we are not looking to sign anyone!!

Agree2 Disagree6

A top draw striker is needed and wages can no longer be an issue.... cos harry's dogs minted!

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm also with rufus, bet then I think Dempsey is a top class player, and would fit in the 'squad' nicely, not the first team. A kind of Jenas replacement, a squad player.

Agree1 Disagree2

Seeing as emotions are running neck high, here, i thought it wise to inform you that Andrey Arshavin is set to sign for you! Harry thinks he can get the best out of him and he will help Pav recover his form.

P gunner

Agree1 Disagree3

Your grammer is sh*ep

Agree1 Disagree2

Gunners back looking to offload crap...that would be your whole squad bar Persil...does it hurt looking up kid

Agree2 Disagree2

Pav' extension was pure business, were get more for him when he leaves,no more being said on that matter, hush hush.

Agree1 Disagree0

What you have to Remember is that we actually haven't spent that much money in the last 3 seasons. Correct me if I'm wrong but Modric is our most expensive signing at 16 million. Im also a massive Spurs fan aswell, but just can't see us signing anyone, unless we get offered a bargin like VDV.

All we need is a striker who can head a ball very few chances do we put away from corners and we keep wasting them. i would take berba back because he knows wer the back of the net is, ade plays well and defends well but misses sitters. If harry says one more time i like the lad or we have looked at him but i dont think we r going to do anything i will explode. Having said that i doubted the signing off scott parker being valuable but boy was i wrong, perhaps harry is off in the summer and levy aint going to put alot of money in, if someone offerd 3rd at the start of the season having spent little we would of taken their hand off. I dream of a striker coming but cant see it at the min :(

COYS, Eden Hazard, Edinson Cavani, Shiqiri, Dembele, Ganso are a few names. Those players can play wing or 2nd striker 'in the hole', attacking midfield. Think we are looking at Kovacic who is a young Croatian Attk midfielder but only 16.
I reckon we are still in for Rossi but have no idea how his injury will pan out.

spurs guvnor

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Rossi is out for season so he would be a summer move

Agree4 Disagree1

Of that list shaqiri might be most likely as enic own 11% of basel & the rest would seem to be out of our price range once you add wages into equation.
I noticed Pato hulk perotti mandzukic all weren't in there teams squad for wkend, I dont know maybe there injured or maybe there all about to be sold ( not saying necesarily to us) but if I was to pick 2 most likely id reckon mandzukic wolfsburg or perotti Seville they have been scouted intensively last season & this.
Espur

Agree3 Disagree0

I don't understand all this obsession with eden hazard? doesn't he play left wing?

Agree3 Disagree2

Spurs need a GK, CB & CF for the future.

GK - Michel Vorm looks superb and could flourish under the guidance of Tony Park and Brad Freidel. His shot stopping abilities are evident from his penalty to save ratio. If he could improve situational awareness he could become one of the best in the world.
CB - After the Cahill saga we should look to Jans Vertonghen. With King & Gallas in their twilight years, and Bassong looking likely to leave, I would move for Vertonghen at all costs. Already a proven international star, and very capable of playing LB should BAE ever miss a game. Never a better time for a transition to accommodate a future post King.
RM - I have felt for too long that Lennon is a good player but lacks motivation at times. What we need is a player that is even better than him in Eden Hazard to ignite serious competition on the RM. Hazard also has the ability to play right across the midfield of required which would help with the balance.
CF - Damiao will sign for Spurs in January and I am sure he is exactly the player we are requiring to push on.

Vorm, Vertonghen, Hazard & Damiao in with Gomes, Bassong, Bentley, Jenas & Pavlyuchenko leaving by the end of the summer. These four stars could transform Spurs for the future and allow a serious assault on the Champions League next season.

The Oracle

Agree2 Disagree0

Fantastic The Oracle is back! We have missed you lol, and your still suggesting Damiao will sign this month, I like your optimisim if anything!

Stuart

Agree1 Disagree0

Oracle, you play to much football manager! {Ed002's Note - I thought the deluded soft boy was going to leave if Cahill did not move to Spurs etc.. I explained to him before about his predictions being nonsence and then he had a little tizzy. Now he can't even get moving on to troll some other site right. Oh well.}

Agree0 Disagree1

An person could have made that wish list, be nice if there was some substance to it that you could provide - but then that would spoil your reputation.

Agree0 Disagree1

Fantastic and the Oracle should not be in the same paragraph.

Agree0 Disagree1

I was being sarcastic

Why would we want a striker when Pavlyuchenko has signed an extension, what more could we possibly want? !!!!

spurs guvnor

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Haha problem solved Pav is the answer, just not sure what the question is! Lol
Mo

Agree2 Disagree1

We extended his deal at the end of December and if we didn't he could leave on a free in the summer now we've got signed till next year we will recive a fee

Agree4 Disagree0

He will join afc Bournemouth after the world cup for to get the south coast club promted his agent is good friends with bournemouths chairman

Celtic fan here, I have read different places that harry is preparing a 7 million bid for james forrest, but there is no chance he will leave this window as celtic are on coarse for the treble and may cost up to 12 to 15 million in the summer. I no people will say no one will ever pay that sort of money to a scottish team but we sold aiden mcgeady for 10 million and forrest is already better than mcgeady, plus celtic are financially very secure and dont need to accept knoced down offers and with forrest being a celtic fan it will take a lot of money to land him.
P.s FIFA last week named him as one of the top 13 young players to take 2012 by storm along side the likes of tiago alcantara and ross barkley so he is extremely highly rated

Celticthomas

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Well that's great, you should be very proud!

Agree3 Disagree1

Shame harry has dismissed reports linking us with him :/

Spurs Lad

Since when did Harry dismissing something actually reflect reality ?

Devastated by the citeh result clearly deserved more and yeah the ref made a mistake . was suprised with sir leds mistake never expected that from him. The title is seemingly far away now but a few good signings could reignite our hopes in the last few months given that there arent too many tough teams left then. We should find only man utd game difficult really and should win the rest. For the future we need a young keeper ...Krul great man for the job. A cb possibly caulker when he returns. Have watched vaart who is on a drought right now. One of my favurite players but plays in spells really and is inconsisstent like ade bale they all score in spells and in the end at least one has a good game. JD on the other hand has scored in nearly every game he started clearly he should start instead of vaart at leasst in away games where vaart isnt so great. I still think we need a second playmaker in the team.

Personally see ben arfa/ valbuena as possiblities

Huntellar is great and shoud be brought in maybe after ade leaves tho.
Breaking news pav given new deal

As for ben arfa part think he could replace lennon.

Does anyone know of a fast, creative wide man who could replace azza who could be a super sub ?
Niko fits the bill but lacks pace would hate too see him leave though.

Ed love the sight plz reply

COYS {Ed002's Note - Valbuena was for sale over the summer and there was interest from several clubs, with Arsenal showing some interest the previous year - due to a enquiry via Jose Anigo that was pushed back at the time. There was also speculation in France that Arsenal would make an approach to Marseille to take Valbuena as a replacement for Nasri but that never happened. Right now the player is not looking to move and Marseille are not looking to sell - but no doubt a massive offer might tempt them. Ben Arfa will not be moving either.}

Please don't call me a liar but i have heard that there is an interest in bringing back berbatov from utd for about 8 million. not sure if that will be a good thing or not. would prefer us making a bid for either carroll or torres just to see what would happen if we made about 20 million for carroll and a 25- 30 million bid for torres, you never know they may accept them

Believable1 Unbelievable4

I wouldn't waste a penny on Torres or Berbatov!
Mo

Agree3 Disagree4

I think Berba coming back would be a good thing. He is the same as Torres - too much pressure has hurt him on a big money more to a big club. Get Berba back, he would work wonders with Modders, VDV, Bale, and he worked so well with lennon back in the day. Manu wont be there next season so start building partnerships now!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd rather pay 20 mill for Berba than Carroll I can't see anyone paying 20 mill for Carroll, in fact I would find it hard to believe anyone would willingly pay 10 mill for him
I'd be over the moon if we could bring Berba back but don't see United selling him to us

Agree6 Disagree0

Why in Spurs name would we want caroll ? He is s**t I would rather pav stay than caroll come to us ...
Torres wouldn't be bad ... As his movement . Positioning and everything to be a super forward is there he just really lacks the finishing ....
Bear yid

Agree6 Disagree0

Agree with bear yod , caroll must be a no go , unless its about 5 mill ! Cant we just find a good decent young forward , rather than some one with possibly one good season left in him like berba ??
Davo

Agree0 Disagree0

If we had Berbatov up front with our team we would be top of the league right now. Perfect for our style of play and top scorer (joint) in the prem last season

Agree1 Disagree0

Berbs is class, and still is. He still can bang in goals as he has shown when Fergie allows him to play. I think we could steal him at 10mill. I too think he would work wonders with VDV and Bale moving around him.

Naz

Agree1 Disagree0

Berba is class?maybe as a player but not as a team member
i still remember his refusal to play away at sunderland which started the jol affair.

I shouldn't be posting this as my old man reads this site and will spank me but i have to inform you that my Dad knows Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian and there has been contact from Spurs regarding a loan deal untill the end of the season but City are reluctant due to obvious reasons. Tevez would love to help Spurs try snatch the league from them apparently. He thinks there's a slim chance but not to hold our hopes high.

ps: Thats me grounded for 9 years lol

Believable0 Unbelievable8

Really even though its against FA rules to have two players on loan from one prem club to another? Perhaps we are going to give Adebayor back {Ed002's Note - Correct.}

Agree3 Disagree0

I can not see Man City letting us loan another player.

Simon {Ed002's Note - They can't and they won't.}

Agree5 Disagree0

New poster here,

We can't have two loans, but if we bught Adebayor this window then we could have Tevez on loan.

Rabbit

Agree0 Disagree0

So thats circa £20M for Adebayor plus at least £120k pw if he is willing to take a pay cut then another £120k pw for Tevez if City will pay 50% of his wage. Then Modric and Bale will rightly want pay rises

Doesnt sound like Levy`s style

On the bright side City probably no longer see us as a threat

Not sure moving to London will cure his home sickness though {Ed002's Note - Rabbit is correct ONLY if Adebayor's existing loan agreement has the right to buy option during the loan.}

God , is this all we need . Was chatting with next door neighbour who works at old trafford , United are interested in leandro now . Why the hell havent we got this one sorted out ??
Davo

Believable6 Unbelievable1

I hae just read that in the mail so it could well be typical us losing out to Utd

Agree2 Disagree1

OR was it from the BBC gossip column which coincidentally picked up on the Daily Mail's story?

Agree2 Disagree0

If this is true - do you think United would entertain letting Welbeck come to us? {Ed002's Note - Maybe in exchange for Modric?}
