Ryan fredricks need to be played more on the right wing when lennon gets injured

Agree10 Disagree3

We have to try and prize away cisse and ba from newcastle if we Ade goes back 2 city and defoe wants to leave....

Agree3 Disagree5

Fredricks looks good but i think next season would be 2 early for him..andros townsend and yago falque can play both left and right and look really good.i rate lenonn highly but when hes ou we look desperate on the right and walker has to do a 2 man job which he does well..bring in moses

Agree7 Disagree1

I haven't personally been too impressed with Townsend, but think falque would be a good squad player next season. Think we should make a move for Hoillet since he would be a free.

Agree3 Disagree3

What makes you think ba and cisse will come to us ? No champs league !

Agree10 Disagree3

Why would ba and cisse move to spuds. Your as big or if not smaller club. As nufc. Wait till harry starts his dirty tricks about contracts and players and then cry when clubs do it to him. The bloke is a tosspo.

Agree1 Disagree1

The barcodes bigger than the spurs!
and you base this on what rational facts?

Agree2 Disagree0

I suspect Ba and Cisse are earning more than we can pay ... and without the attraction of CL why move to us when we have a manger with only 1 year on his contract and he's now a consideration for Chelski .. better of staying where they are for now sadly.

Harry Redknapp met Loïc Rémy yesterday at Orly airport. Looking good. Marseille is asking around £15M

Spurs Lad

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Watched remy a few times and hes scored in every game ive seen(bout 7 games)..he looks good and would defo be a good striker to pair with vdv

Agree7 Disagree3

3 goals from open play all season!

Agree5 Disagree1

Watched remy a few times and hes scored in every game ive seen(bout 7 games)..he looks good and would defo be a good striker to pair with vdv
...
If he signs for us you must watch each game we play twice.

Agree5 Disagree1

I would imagine most of these "deals" are conditional on the result of the CL final and if we get to play CL football next season.

Agree3 Disagree0

HR f*** off and dont get him please don't be stingy and pay the extra 5 ish m and get Damiao ..... For the love of god don't blow the money we have been saving for 3 seasons on s**t like him ...... Agh !!!

Agree8 Disagree4

Remy is certainly not the solution we need, he has a heart defect, scores infrequently from open play, and has shown to be lacking in the control department. The positive are he is 6ft tall, strong and can score from set pieces. At £15m I would be devastated if we signed him, it would remind me of when we signed Rebrov, another player hyped with limited ability.

The strikers we need are Damiao and Huntelaar and we have to stop looking for cheap alternatives. We have Defoe & Saha and to be honest I would rather just sign Dempsey and allow Kane and Couilbally a chance than sign an average forward like Remy. As Harry has said time and time again, we will only sign players who improve the team.

The strange thing is every one of you can see what we need, and for a year you have been left mystified by the lack of activity. You all scream out to Levy; Sell Gomes, Cudicini, Bassong, Corluka, Nelson, Bentley, Jenas, Pienaar, Krancjar and Saha. Put King into coaching and let Adebayor go back to City. Then go get us Lloris, Vertonghen, Hazard, Damiao & Huntelaar. When you have got them keep Caulker, Naughton, Coulibally and Kane as cover and let's go make a title challenge.

The Oracle

Agree10 Disagree1

How can you call Damiao so much better than him when he is unproven in a European league?

Agree2 Disagree2

Just watch him play his pace his power his heading and shooting ability hes younger
He scored against Barcelona he has bags more potential where even in the French leauge remy isn't exactly great

Agree3 Disagree1

He scored against barcelona? so did torres and he is pish atm. also that is due to his team being below average this year.
Damiao plays in brazil it's not better than the french league

Agree1 Disagree3

Who ever siad remy has scored 3 goals in open play hasne done his history on the player..hate to sound negative but we wont sign big players.we have to realise this after seasons and seasons of harry bying cheap or gettin freebies...remy would be a decent signing when u think of players like pav, crouch and dos santos, saha

Agree5 Disagree2

Well there goes all our targets, f*** chelsea

Agree4 Disagree0

Don't think any of those players will sign for spurs with no chmapions league football, i'd be concentrating more on keeping your best players then bringing new ones in cos modric wants champions league football

Great Authority - Modric deal done - Johnson swap & cash

I am told that Tevez IS a definite possibility as long as we get CL - City want offload to make way for VAN P and are prepared to subsidise move - Tevez wants Italy but is prepared to go back to London where family a bit more settled

BUT most interestingly I have heard a whisper that Arry is putting a deal together for - Kaka from RM to replace Luka - early days but agent has been approached and i am told that a meeting will be set up late June (not sure why late June but thats the whisper)

you heard it here first

Harry the Nut

Believable5 Unbelievable11

As a true spurs supporter would love to see.adam johnson, kaka and tevez at the lane but it isnt likely mate.mayb johnson but i just think your bored so u make u srupid rumors.

Agree5 Disagree1

Modric going to utd done deal
I'd be happy with Vertonghen, Huntelaar and Dembele top players who we have a realistic chance of getting, and Bale has been known(on visits to Cardiff) to say he'd love to play for Real Madrid one day!

ou812

Agree2 Disagree2

We won't get kaka and Tevez as three both on about 200k awk so no story there ? But adam johnson
Be good addition but does that mean bale goes back to left back? Coys

Agree4 Disagree2

When s1 posts about players like tevez who is on 200k plus wages ,even if by some miracle that you sign him u would also have to increase other players wages .
citeh with there over inflated wages and transfer fees cannot move most of there players . because hey would you take a 50k wage cut to do the same job

Spurs have held talks with eintracht frankfurt about their 21 year old central midfielder Sebastian Rode according to BBC Sport. Anybody know anything about him?

I swear to god, don't let Harry control this window! I know you will all criticise me & what not, but Harry isn't going to take us where we want. We could be a new Arsenal (please god no) if we carry on signing below par backups to our class team, & notice i say team & not squad. That is where we fell short this season, our team were fantastic the first half, & then they were just dragging along, with no one decent to fill the gaps whether they were tired & needed a rest, or injured. Levy needs to push the bounderies, seal the JV deal, get in another CB!

With the midfield, we can't just do a same old Spurs! Selling Modric & or Bale, are we going absoloutly bonkers?!?!?! They are two of the main parts to our team, without them, we'd be well & truly screwed. KEEP THEM LEVY, WHATEVER THE COST! I think we should bring in Redmond or Hoilett as comp for Lennon, as he gets far to relaxed in his position, try & get Ade on a permanent, only if possible, & definately get Huntelaar.

Levy, bring in the quality for the team, the decent for the squad & get rid of all the sh*tty below par backups. If we let Harry control this window, we will come 5th-7th no doubt. Don't just do what we always do, get the class, do well for a season or two, & then flog em, & sink back into mid table, we're a top team now & we want to stay there, & even maybe push further. Lets pray that Bayern beat the chelski, sign the class, go out next year & get champo league again (above the scum), maybe win a trophy, & keep pushing on from there

Young Yid

Believable8 Unbelievable2

You my friend speak more sense then most others on here. Absolutely agree - LEVY PLEASE SIGN PEOPLE EARLY SO EVERYONE CAN SETTLE IN PRE SEASON!
I have heard today that a fee has been agreed for JV so it sounds like its a done deal (Fingers crossed)
We should now have players on a £100K a week, seal Ade for a 3 year deal as that is when he starts to think about somewhere else. We need to get a deal wrapped up for a striker, and if we are going to bring in a midfielder/winger then its back up for the wings - with Tommy H coming back from injury, and Dawson we will have 2 solid players we didnt have last year.
I think JJ is worth keeping for more back up. I also heard that Walker is attracting interest from the big boys in Spain, but he is a loyal player and cant see him leaving. Also a lot of talk about a keeper - Ben Foster would do great with our coaching team, I reckon he has the ability to rival Joe Hart but needs a lot of work which I think Ray would do wonders with him.
Kaboul and BAE need to be kept so Levy needs to tell the Italian teams to bugger off!
In the next two years I can see a major trophy at the lane. COYS

Agree5 Disagree1

Well done for the enthusiasm ...
I fully agree I really really hope levy does the purchasing ... Granted some ideas have to come from HR or in the very least be run past him because it's his squad.. And he may do a Gio and almost refuse unless it's absolutely desperate to field him ...
Come on Bayern !

Agree1 Disagree0

Coudent agree more, redknapp and hes buys to say the least have hardly been inspiring, levy needs cheque book out and fast why wait until cl final result. need news blood. i know new stadium going to cost a few bob, but in last few windows hardly parted with any money. pay the money levy after all its the fans that put money in so lets see some of our money spent on top quality footballers and not oap's after one last pay day, as for modric and bale. great if they stay but if they truely dont want to play for us sell them get top dollar and bring in top notch players, players who wear the shirt fight for the shirt andwant tyo wear the shirt

Agree2 Disagree0

Lets hope Levy can see what the fans can , we need early buys , good buys and to keep Arry away from the transfer dealings ! Dont ask him if he agrees , tell him or let him go . His track record in buying players absolutely stinks .
But after hearing about seedorf , del pierro and HOLT , looks like Arry has already had his say . Please no more oldies looking for a last payday , buy the decent players and we can go on from here . Levy , get the cheque book out NOW !!

Agree1 Disagree0

I see some of u r just prancing around the real issue. The fact that Harry should be sacked. Because of his lack of strategy and hence his ignorance about players to bring in, as he has no system. Frankly, he has caused Spurs not be in the hunt for the title forthe last 2 seasons. Why, because luck and the individual brilliance of our players can only carry a team so far. If you disbelieve, look at the matches again strategically and you will see my point. No doubt we have talented players but we need acoach with a good attacking strategy who knows which players to bring in to complement the team - it is not Harry if we want to win trophies. Possible targets should be Brendon Rodgers, Roberto Martinex, Frank Riikjard. Bottom line, it does not matter which players we bring in, if Harry is the manager, we will not be winning anything and that should be our ambition as Spurs fans.

Agree5 Disagree0

Forgot: another top manager would be Bielsa

Agree0 Disagree1

Problem is there no guarantee another manager would be an improvement. Look at Chelsea for example, they didn't improve when AVB arrived.

Agree0 Disagree0

Harry being sacked is a laod of rubbish...im sorry but i love spurs but im going to be realistic hear.....look wot was happening to us befoe rednapp signed..now we finishing top 4 with a quality squad which we havent had better since 1987/1988.....we should of finished top 3 i agree but if u told me even 5/6 years go that spurs would have all this talent and finishing in hamps leagues places i would of told u wear to go lol..hes done a top job and we looking better season after season...good luck to him i say and long live harrys reign at the mighty spurs....................

Agree1 Disagree2

Harry inherited most of the players, brings in old players or mercenaries, and tactically and technically inept!

Agree0 Disagree1

For people to think that Harry can't take us further is, in my opinion, fair, but to say that he hasn't done anything for us and he's inept is simply stupid.

He might have inherited the players but he's the one that made them work well. The players need to take some of the blame for our drop in form this season. It also has to be understood, that Levy is just as much behind the transfer activity as Harry and there wasn't going to be huge investment with the court case looming.

Besides, who that is proven, that wants to leave their current club, would be a worthy replacement? Expecting managers like Rodgers and Martinez to lift us from 4th to the top is simply naive. I'd prefer to stick with a guy that had us fighting for the title for a good portion of the season than some one unproved at the top level. LEt's be realistic. Just saying...

Agree1 Disagree0

Bale is on his way to Barca!!!!!!!!

Agree1 Disagree1

Wanna be realistic, current squad largely brought in by someone else, Jol, who took us to Europe on 2 consecutive occasions. Look at Harrys buys and where are they now. He has wasted funds over his tenure on players that won't add value to the team. Moreover, what is his claim to fame - saving clubs from relegation, hence he cannot anstill a winning mentality into the players. However, if as Spurs fans you don't want t6o win trophies but remain unambitious like Harry whose goal is to finish in the top4 or so, keep Harry.

Just a thought let me know what you think.
With Blackburn being relegated would it be worth picking up Yakubu. He has score at a bit better than 1 goal every 3 games at sides like Middlesborough Everton Portsmouth and Blackburn. With us he will be given more chances in front of goal and is a proven finisher
COYS

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Would prefer someone better .... But I'd your talking about back up ? Maybe

Agree1 Disagree0

Hell to the no. He won't put in performances unless he is the main man. If he is the main man - we don't get top six.

Too many names who we "are signing" being chucked around on here. I know its a rumours page but we all know form past experiences that Levy wont splash the cash even though he knows he needs to in order to have a serious title shot next season. I image Modric to leave and head to Manchester, possibly the Blue side as United will not cough up £40-45million for one player. I expect levy to invest some of the cash generated from the Modric sale on new transfers but not on the big names we are all crying out for. 'Arry is a wheeler and dealer so i think he will take Hoilett and spend £7million on Vertonghen. Other than that i cant see any big signings coming in. And here is the possibility we are all dreading........ i expect us to snap up Micheal Owen, its the typical spurs way. We all want Llorente, Damaio, Cavani etc but thats not realistically going to happen. Personally i think we should take a punt on Grant Holt, out and out goal scorer and with the service bale, lennon and VDV can provide him i think he will score goals for us and wont cost us an arm and a leg on transfer fee and wages

Rich

Believable3 Unbelievable2

It's been confirmed 50m to spend So much as levy doesn't want to spend the money he's given a chunk to be spent plus the sales of our dead wood
Bentley , jenas , bassong , gio * unfortunately * Gallas isn't how he used to be and needs shifting ... Khumalo ... Saha
We should have 51 m to spend xD ok I joke but you get the point we should have a fair bit to spend I think this season ... Will break the mild on not buying quality and rather getting players to tide us over

Agree1 Disagree0

Holt it a great player

Agree1 Disagree3

I was enjoying reading that until you said Grant Holt...

How do you go from saying let's get Damiao, Llorente, Cavani and then go "but I'd have Grant Holt"?!

He would be something like 178th choice for me...

Agree4 Disagree1

I didnt say "lets get Llorente, Damaio, cavani etc" i said thats the kind of player we are all crying out for. My point was although they are the kind of players we want, myself included, i cant see Spurs splashing that kind of cash around hence why i mentioned Grant Holt. Okay he's not the best forward out there or technically skillful but he knows where the back of the net is which he has proven 15+ times this season in a Norwich shirt and he wont cost us an arm and a leg on tranfer fee and wages. Like i said above i would love levy to splash the cash on some quality world class players but im just being a realist and not building myself up to just be disappointed when we have a shocking transfer window again. I hope 'Arry and Levy prove me wrong.

Rich

Agree3 Disagree0

Please , lets leave Grant Holt where he is ! If he was that good then other teams would be looking at him , and he is 31 years old for gods sake . If this is our targets then keep saha ! Spurs should be able to afford and get better players than this . If not , then next season will be the same , nearly there , not quite , just like Arsenal !!
