ED I cannot give you my source but a deal to sell Defoe to Liverpool has been agreed verbally. A fee of £16m has been agreed but this is dependent on Spurs competing a replacement deal. I wonder if Damiao, Tevez, Higuain or Remy is the mystery 'BIG SIGNING'?
I will miss Defoe but at 29 he isn't getting any younger and has always had barren spells of performance. I think he will be fantastic for Liverpool and if they snatch 4th it will be money well spent.
Maybe with Pavlyuchenko, Dos Santos & Defoe all off we might be in for a real surprise. Imagine Tevez & Damiao now wouldn't that be awesome.

Sorry cant see this happening at all. {Ed008's Note - I'd say Tevez is on his way to PSG at this point.

Now everyone wants to be the Oracle.Stop it.Not going to happen.

12 tops liverpool would prob pay £40million

I am not trying to be the Oracle as he just made a fool of himself over the Cahill deal. He is a very arrogant little swine who has had the wind taken out of his sails. After he gave Adebayor and Parker I actually believed the dog as his posts were well before the press was linked. The Cahill deal demonstrated that he got lucky and exposed him.
I am not in the know or claiming to be anything of the like, but I heard the Defoe discussion and I am sure that the scousers will love him. Suarez DEfoe sounds scary and I will fear that partnership at the Lane.
Last ED who is this big signing that Redknapp seems confident of getting? It must be a striker as I cannot see Samba or Hoilett being regarded as BIG.

No 40 m for an English striker that actually had scored what 7 goals this season ?
Where as andy Carroll has scored 2 I think
Over triple what andy carroll has got ... Ergo triple what was paid for him
So we are looking at a bid of what ? 105 m ? I'd take that for Defoe xD ....
Agree2
Disagree0
Dont think redknapp would sell defoe to anyone that could be a threat to them finishing in the top 4. on his day defoe is a menace and bangs them in and could end up haunting spurs.

We wont have to see saurez at the lane as his last game of suspension is against us i think {Ed002's Note - He will be available for selection.}

We wiil bid for samba on monday.
Now that he has rocked the boat,blackburn will sell before his unhappyness rubs off on their other players.
8m will get him.dont think that is bad business in todays climate.

Oh you Spurs fans with short memories...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mr Modric "rock the boat" in the summer? Are we really so arrogant that we smugly say no to a £40m offer for one of our players, yet we assume that as soon as a player we want says he wants to leave his club, we'll automatically get him?
Whether or not he will actually move is beside the point - good on Blackburn for at least trying to hold on to him!
Agree4

Samba going to spurs . only thing that will stop it from happening is blackburn refusing to sell him .
Agree1
Disagree1
There is a difference with this situation than with the modric situation, in that chelsea are direct rivals, and blackburn aren't, also what people seem to forget is that the 40 million came in on the last day (or so) of the window, leaving no time to get a replacement. But yes fair play to blackburn for their stance, will always respect that.

Not to mention modders was at the time contracted for 5 more years, how long before samba is out of contract? {Ed003's Note - 2015,I'm sure it was a 4 year deal he signed in the summer } }

Seems levy has started a new stance amongst some clubs,the revolt against player power.

Spurs will complete the signing of none other than Pato in the next 24 hours. This shock purchase will scare the living daylights out of the Manchester mafia.

Nothing is impossible as the great man says i think all the deals with tevez are going to fall through,eg milan wanting and waiting for a loan deal,wont happen so thats wen good old arry goes in with 20 mil last minute and tevez lowers salary to earn some respect bck from the prem league,remember nothing is impossible.tevez and ade up front omg
Agree6
Disagree2
You think tevez cares about his reputation in the epl? Think he would rather continue getting paid his 200k + a week.
Agree7
Disagree0
Trust me i'm NO GOONER just a yod with a dream or 2
Agree1
Disagree2
And nah tevez more than likely wouldn't care about the epl if a done deal was on the table and he was for sure leaving the prem league but with there not being a done deal and the only club at the mo offering what man city want is psg and tevez does NOT want to go there.At the end of the day tevez wants out man city don't want him,don't want a loan move psg got the money but he don't wont to go, milan want loan,arrys got 20 mil to spend all thats stopping the deal being done is wages and will city want to sell him to a club thats already playin the best football in the league ,GO ON MY TEAM ,and we know tevez would prefer a move closer to home at the end of the day but if nothing comes in,we know the almighty 1 arry will do his last min late deals hopefully including tevez {Ed008's Note - Is this what you dreamed last night ?
Agree0

Pato turned down mega bucks at psg,because he is dating the milan presidents daughter,thus did not want to leave italy.as much as i would love us to get pato,will not happen!! {Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with his girlfriend.}

Samba's on his way to the lane 100%,were pay the fee and his wages are suitable for us,he said his looking for a new challenge according to sky sports,but going to QPR wont be a new challenge for him as his already fighting to stay in the prem with his current club he dont want to be doing the same thing with rangers then does he
