Before the end of this month i reckon we will complete the deal for vucinic as it has said 2day on goal.com we have opened discussions, i honestly would be happy with this siggning cause i tink harry will get the best out of him and for 15 mill i tink hes worth the risk, him and another class striker id be happy
Please dont believe anything on GOAL.COM its American for a start. They never ever get anything right, its usually old stuff thats been re-written as if its new.
Would not be a bad signing. I saw him in the friendly at the lane a couple of years ago and he looked technically very good and although we hammered them on the day he looked their most threatening player, however I am not sure he is an out and out striker as I am sure that day he seemed to play more on the left hand side. We need to forget these so called big names signing for us as it is not going to happen as the money even many average players are on is freezing us out of this end of the market, and supporters need to be realistic because until we get a new stadium we will continue to have a strict wage structure. This being said the club will still be an attractive proposition to some players and although we may not get the superstar name we want, I would like to think Harry can identify a striker who will fit into the current system of play ie big, strong, mobile and who can hold the ball up (everything Crouch cant seem to do)
I read yesterday on a spurs forum, that we had signed this guy in January, but the Roma president pulled the plug at the last minute.
Here is the quote
Just the attacker, in the past one year from the idol of a championship run only touched to the side element, is the face of this moment. In December he was ready to leave: he wanted to Tottenham, the club that would have paid Giallorossi 10 million and no less than 4 per player. The contract of life, skipped to the "niet" Ranieri, who has inflamed his already icy relationship with the coach. The company carried out, then, did nothing but worsen the situation: every time DiBenedetto emphasized his passion for Vucinic, they saw away the hope of leaving Rome to answer the call of Inter and Spurs. Became palpable disappointment at the Olympic Stadium in the form of a listlessness that the fans like the mates - and some leaders of the group after Roma-Palermo wanted to tell them this - have not forgiven.
