No signs of any near transfers & not even rumours ( with the exception of oracle who is getting very boring ) I fear it could be a repeat of last yr, the yr b4 etc etc but I hope I'm surprised. Bad news on sandro prob been our best player, well at least jake Livermore is fit ;)
Does anyone else wonder sumtimes how could our scouting system is I carnt remember the last bargain gem which was found ie a Michiu or jelavic but hoping I will eat my
Words with holtby!!
I think if oracle is in the know as much as he thinks he is then if indeed for about the 100th transfer window in a row the chosen one damiao does not sign he should agree to never post on the sight again, so oracle wat do you say? {Ed002's Note - Willian, Moutinho, Wijnaldum, Llorente, Beric, Eriksen, Sissoko, Wolfswinkel, Yilmaz, Min, Remy, Nem, Adrian Lopez, Damiao, Bender, M’Vila and possibly Djuricic have been looked at and an offer made for Min.}

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Thanks ed & out of those names he is the one I would least like to hear we have made a bid 4

Agree3 Disagree6

Willian been spoted in north london is true?heard it on a grape vine.also bale going to madrid benzema heading + 40 million and that's levy done until summer

Agree1 Disagree10

Apparently you are either meant to call him Heung-Min or Son. I've heard it's the equivalent of calling someone in english by half of their first name.

he looks pretty good actually, big name doesn't mean anything. think he is very under rated and hope we get him, cracking bit of business I think....

Agree2 Disagree7

Already told you Damiao has agreed terms and Moutinho looks highly likely. Willian remains the focus contingency option should Moutinho fall through.

Levy wants a window of opportunity to gain the best terms possible for those leaving, and Internaccional are debating on whether to buy Gomes as part of the deal. Livermore, Huddlestone, Jenas and Bentley are all possible exit options. I would be surprised if Bentley didn't join Blackburn, Huddlestone Fulham or Everton and Livermore potential loan to help Harry.

The Oracle

Agree7 Disagree4

Oracle you say damiao is a done deal and then say international are deciding if they want gomes. Is that not a contradiction?
LASpur

Agree4 Disagree5

LASpur you seem to continually fail to understand even the most basic English, as this is yet another example where you failed to get the point. I will have to refrain from answering you in the future, but will give you this last reply just to help you.

In even more basic English, here is the situation AGAIN just for you;

1. Within earlier discussions Gomes was offered as part exchange.

2. Internaccional were indecisive about what they wanted to do.

3. Levy decided to cement the Damiao deal as an isolated agreement, fearing any complicated terms could jeopardise the conclusion.

4. Internaccional agreed to the Damiao deal, and contract were exchanged and signed.

5. Funding was prepared for transfer, and were about to be wired.

6. Internnacional then decided they might want Gomes, and negotiations were held separately whilst Levy agreed to hold the Damiao funds pending the outcome.

7. Spurs agreed to discuss this option, knowing that the original contract is ready to go at a moments notice.

8. The clubs are currently discussing the value of Gomes.

9. If an amount can be agreed then a separate contract and transfer deal will be arranged.

10. Spurs will then conclude a net transfer of proceeds for both deals.

Sorry to be so matter of fact with you LASpur, but if I had a pound for every time you missed the point or assumed something completely different to what was written, I would have probably been able to buy Damiao myself.

The Oracle

Agree8 Disagree3

Dear Oracle,

If I had a pound for everytime you were wrong I'd be able to buy Gareth Bale myself

Agree6 Disagree5

Probably the only way you will get to see him in a spurs shirt.
Dave

Agree5 Disagree4

Oracle, why are you so sure!? Are you Levy's brother or something? If Damiao doesn't sign by the end of January, just what will you say then? I eagerly await your reply.

JP Spur

Agree3 Disagree4

If I had a pound for everytime Oracle said damiao was a done deal I could personally buy messi, like I told you before Bentley has no intrest in leaving unless someone is stupid enough to offer him the same wage he is on with us, Damiao is not going to happen, infact i'd be very surprised if he left Brazil before the 2014 world cup, as he would not be in the Brazil squad if he came and wasn't an instant success,

Agree4 Disagree3

Oracle would you take up the option of if damiao doesn't sign in this window never to talk about him ever again and admit how wrong you've been. I think your posts are comical so leaving the site all together would be a great loss

Agree3 Disagree3

All very logical Oracle ...but if the first part is done why isn't he already here the Gomes part is irrelevant to Damiao physically arriving. Contracts are signed, come experience the snow its fun to play in. :-)

Agree3 Disagree3

Dear oh dear oh dear......

Another £1 in the bank !

Ok, I know we all hear bullsh!t about people being in the know etc etc etc....

I have a 'friend' who is a talent scout and works the South East Asia and Australia/NZ regions predominantly.

He believes that we will only make one more signing this window which really doesn't sit well with a lot of the trash talk on here. He said that it is likely to be another VDV signing and something completely out of the blue and not reported.

To me that sounds like it will be a NO DEAL to;

Moutinho
Sneijder
Damaio
Llorente (are we even still talking about him!)

Pretty disappointing but thought i'd share.

COYS - 4th place is ours.

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Without being funny how would he know what avb and levy are trying to do.they will be keeping their hands close to their chests so as not to up the price or alert other potentially interested parties. so how your "FRIEND"

Agree8 Disagree0

I have to agree with the above post, I do see us signing one player who it will be no one knows apart from DL & AVB. Yes it is a rumour page and we can speculate but lets just see what happens. As for Damaio, never going to happen!!

Stuart

Ed's do you have any inside knowledge of who we could sign or is it just the names branded about on here?

Londoners? what rubbish.. I'm from India and I'm supporting just one team since I got into football!( 3years ago):)
I love spurs as much as you do!

Agree6 Disagree1

I'm waiting on Son being announced tbh. Only one I have a feeling will happen.

Probs flop like most of the asians have in the premier league.

I shall however, pray that we go for willian.

Shadders

Agree2 Disagree2

Your mate does not know anything if he told you that information. Damiao is already completed but we are trying to broker otter deals before announcing him. Moutinho is very close albeit not as straightforward as you would like things to be, this is due to the complex ownership rights. Agreed Llorente is not even under consideration, as he was not even part of contingency plans. Lastly never say never with Sneijder, of course we want him, but he is clearly trying to push for the maximum revenues. He has made things almost impossible with his existing employers, and after making a lot of noise is realising that he is not as desired as he thought he would be. The simple truth is Galatasary, Spurs and other clubs really want him, but on £100k a week with a signing on fee. He is always a possible target and whilst unlikely I will keep my fingers crossed.

In summarylatest feelings are;
Damiao 100%
Moutinho 75%
Llorente 0%
Sneijder 25%

Willian will always be a target if talks fail elsewhere, but our interest was dropped when the £25m unrealistic.starting bids were proposed. If we can buy him for £15m he will be coming, but I would say that is very unlikely with Chelsea sniffing around.

The Oracle

Agree9 Disagree10

Same old oracle = same old bs. Although I would live it if I'm wrong.

Agree3 Disagree7

I thought Damiao's ownership was even more convulted than Moutinho ?

Agree5 Disagree7

Oracle,
I find your posts entertaining. Damiao was signed last year and done too according to you. Mate just stop, please stop, you are making it worse for yourself.

Agree4 Disagree7

I have a mate that pans gold in Alaska and on his spare time scouts for any good talent in the Alaskan 1st division predominantly. He says your mate in Aus/NZ/Asia is full of grade one BS.

Agree7 Disagree7

What a joke; so we have already signed one of the biggest young Brazilian talents around, but we "won't announce him yet"?!

What are we waiting for; Defoe to get injured?!

Who names themselves and "Oracle"?.. Nutter!

Agree4 Disagree7

Nutter....love it. Lol!

Rufus

Agree2 Disagree6

To the original post if your friend is a scout then why would we sign a player out the blue without at least scouting them unless they.are already a well known top draw player, kinda belittles the whole point of having scouts like your 'mate'

Agree1 Disagree5

Oracle,

Amusingly you have quoted moutinho as 75% and sneider 25% yet on the thread below moutinho is 80% and sneider 10%.

You change your estimations by thread, damiao was a done deal in the last two windows but never signed, now seems the same again.

Last time you said if he didn't sign you would leave the forum and now you predict the same again.

Marc {Ed001's Note - just goes to prove how right he is with his predictions, he can't even predict his own actions!}

Agree1 Disagree5

Right guys,

Damiao to Spurs on 30 January 2013 for around £23.5M.

My source is rubbish.

The Rabbit

PS If this comes off great prediction and anyway can make up rubbish. If it don't just proves you need to be part of the inner circle which none of us are hence why we are on here!

Agree1 Disagree5

I think the term "talent scout" says it all.

Agree0 Disagree4

Ed,

Is Oracle even one person?
Or could it be a whole series of posters just trying to be more outlandish than the previous one? {Ed001's Note - he uses an identifier in the email field, so they should all be one person, unless someone is sharing that out between their mates for a joke.}

Agree0 Disagree5

Damiao is agreed and for the record the delay is simply whether they want to buy Gomes before exchanging funds.

The Oracle

Agree6 Disagree3

For the genius that pointed out a change in my percentages, and then concluded they contradicted each other.

The percentages are based on current positions, just like the real world. Things are never fixed until contract are completed like Damiao. So the percentages reflect the ever changing landscape of the deal in question.

One clearly statistic is I am 100% certain that you didn't excel in mathematics and statistics at school.
