Is it true we have signed the "new drogba" Souleymane Coulibaly for £2million?


Well think about it. The "new" Drogba for the price of a Championship players left b*llock, what do you think? I think, for that price he is more likely to be the new pile of s**te that nobody else wants

To my knowledge he is only 16...looked at videos and he looks a class act, different league though...wouldnt be buying him for now but to develop him

The kids only 16, looks a fantastic prospect. Of course lots of young players never make the grade but this lad if he ciontinues to develop and realise the potential he shows could become a top player. I certainly wouldn't write him off as you seem to be

Ed. if Diego is so good why did juventus sell him for 10 mill less then thay paid for him just a year before? {Ed002's Note - I am not sure I would take a risk on a player who was thrown out of Juventus for disruptive behavior after a year (Juve taking a £10M loss on the transfer) and who has since walked out on Wolfsburg three times this year, been find £400k and is now being sold on for 10M euros? I appreciate the situation at Wolfsburg is dire under Magath and the new regime. But it would be high risk.}

Ed, are Spurs still looking at Diego Forlan or is this now dead in the water? We seem to be dragging our heels. I know we have to clear out fringe players first but we have refused to let dos Santos go to Seville on season long loan with a view to buy, and no one seems to be meeting Levy's valutaions of the fringe players we badly need to clear out.
Starting to feel that we will have the same squad for next season, minus Modric.
{Ed008's Note - Diego Forlan remian's a possibility but we would have to wait after the Copa America if he was interested in a move.
