So the Sunday Exp are reporting that Everton are in for Holtby despite the agreed pre-contract? I suppose that Everton could buy him for the remaining months of this season, but they couldn't snatch him from Spurs....or could they? {Ed008's Note - Load of rubbish they can't buy him that reporter should be sacked!

Believable4 Unbelievable4

In theory, they could buy him for the rest of the season as he is our player on July 1st and is still a schalke player but, and it is a big but, they player would have to agree to the move too. I don't think he would, he has already stated that he had family in herts and in desperate ti follow a German/spurs legend in klinsmann. I think if we don't sign anyone else, then he will sign for us in jan.

COYMFS.

Could be that Schalke are trying to force Tottenham's hand and get them to bring Holtby in during the Jan. window. Float a story about another EPL team having interest, maybe get Spurs to panic and pay for an early transfer.

Agree4 Disagree1

Yeah def sounds like schalke trying to force our hand prob see him here in jan maybe last day of window as levy holds out to pay less than schalke want coys mattyid

Agree1 Disagree0

Worst case scenario is that holtby plays for everton (wont happen) and gets 6 months experience of the premeirship before hitting the ground running for us. doesnt sound like it would be the end od the world if this unlikely event was to happen

Ed i was reading that everton are going to try and sign holtby this month, is that possible, i thought the pre-contract agreement was a guarantee we would get him in the summer.
RobspurLoad of rubbish they can't buy him that reporter should be sacked! {Ed008's Note -

Believable1 Unbelievable2

If he has signed a pre contract for one club for july first. he can go anywhere on. loan until then. but i reckon he will stay with schalke till then...

Come on levy. if all the bull is right and your willing to pay silly money for daimao who is unproven then just offer dortmond 20 mil for lewandowski, looks a quality striker to me

Believable12 Unbelievable2

The Damiao is true, but I have to agree with you on the Lewandowski point. It is very true Damiao could be a roaring success or Brazils equivalent of Emile Heskey.

The Oracle

Agree8 Disagree4

Oracle, if you are so certain that Damiao will sign, can you give us the date you think it will go through?

Agree3 Disagree6

Damiao deal is wrapped up and ready to finalise. Internaccional were waiting for Caio to sign before finalising terms. It was intended that the deal was finalised before the end of this week, but there are some protracted discussion regarding offloading players.

The snow this week is bound to cause some chaos, but there is no rush we have plenty of time to complete the jigsaw puzzle.

The Oracle

Agree5 Disagree5

Sick and tired about damioa.. Wanna get proven goalscorer....gord knows who... been linked with so many end up being heskey as this rate. lol

Agree2 Disagree5

"The snow" ....give me a break, life goes on through much worse that a little light snow in London ...have you heard of fax machines and email ?

Agree2 Disagree5

Snow going to hold things up?? It's going to snow, he's even predicting the weather now lmao. I'm getting my beach gear ready then coz if oracle's saying snow it means we won't see that either lol.

Sorry Oracle couldn't resist, keep up the great posts!!

Yo, I'm back. After working hard behind the scenes I think I've finally got some pukka ITK.

A source close to AVB has let it slip that Ade is on his way out, most likely before the end of this transfer window.

Who will we get to replace him? None other than NEYMAR! Apparently our new found relationship with Real Madrid is paying off. They want him eventually but Jose sees the Premiership as the ideal place to toughen him up. This one could drag out until the summer, but its happening. BELIEVE and know this.

The down side is that we are definitely losing Bale, but will get Neymar for 2 years before he goes to fulfil his potential with a world class side.

Wiggadiy wiggady wak, you heard it from...

That sounds so crazy it just might actually be true.

I wish you weren't back after that drivel!

I will tattoo "I love Arsenal" if that's true, nobody's gullible enough to believe that.

Agree12 Disagree1

I reported many months ago
the Bale is off to Real Madrid. Any number of possibilities could evolve with their players, but can you explain how Real Madrid have anything to do with agreeing terms. MJF Publicidado Promocoes Ltda have total control over his contractual terms. They are the same Brazilian heavyweight agents who have Hulk, Robinho, Lucas and Baptista on their books.

If you had linked Coentrao or even Modric, I would have said it were possible, but I doubt that arguably the only player on the planet able to challenge Messi is coming to Spurs. I think Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona or PSG might just be able to provide a slightly more attractive option.

Considering half of adebayors wages are being subbed my citeh for the next 2 years, i doubt any move would be scuppered as :

a) ade is quite happy to sit on his wage for 2 years at least

b) no team at the moment would pay him what he is getting.

Okay, ade doesnt score a lot of goal atm, but his work rate is secong to none.his work rate alone would be worth keeping him for, links the ball from midfield well, and holds up play well.
i for one do not doubt ades ability, but yes his commitment comes into question, but i think for 5 million he is a steal, and wouldnt sell him, or write him off just yet.

y o d mark.

Agree8 Disagree8

Look at the Thrush trying to Cling On to every small ounce of hope that he may have predicted one of his thousand made up fantasies coming true, well at least he will be able to get a part in the next Star Trek movie .... When he fails again!

Agree4 Disagree3

What has neymar got to do with real madrid?? he's a santos player not madrid. And even if it was true why would madrid send him anywhere. wouldnt they just play him in there team???

Agree6 Disagree0

Yod mark, have to disagree, Ade is sh**e ! We don't want our main target man in the team just to link up and hold the ball, we want him to score goals as well . My 90 year old gran would have hit the net with that chance on saturday, Sandra probably would of as well . Yes it was a good save but he shouldn't have even had a chance to save it !! We need a CF who will score goals, sorry !

Adebayor is in my opinion a player who is totally focussed on remuneration. Treated like a king at Arsenal and then decided he was worth more money and stopped turning up to play. Then got paid the earth at Manchester City and once signed he decided to stop turning up to play. He also tried to unsettle the dressing room at Arsenal and Manchester City.

Eventually he realised that Manchester City would let him rot in the reserves if he wanted to cut his nose off to spite his face. So he engineered a move to Spurs on loan. Applied himself and tried desparately in the hope we would match his wages and take him on the cheap. We managed to pull off the most amazing deal for £5m with City picking up the remainder of his wages. With only 2 strikers he had no excuse other than prove his worth, and what has he done now the contract is signed.......Nothing !!

I am sure he is planning the next pay day with some sign on fee. Please do not forget he was paid a fortune sign on fee when he came to Spurs, and I am convinced he is goign to orchestrate the same trick with a move to some other mugs.

A real shame as he is clearly a world class player on his day, but with 23 shots on target and two goals you can see why fans think he is lacking in effort. 2 goals in 14 games is laughable, and the game at QPR was another example of a situation whre a world class striker has to score. Even the two goals he scored were surrounded by lados of easy misses. A goal at home to the brilliant Reading, we had 68% possesion and even Dawson scored. Then he scored one nice goal at againt Arsenal away, and then showed his class by getting a RED card when we were all over them and went on to lose 5-2.

Adebayor is a liability and our midfield is so good that even Zamora and Bent would look world class. Defoe is a good servant and I would keep him in the squad, but to be honest I would cut our losses and get Damiao upfront asap.

The Oracle

Agree11 Disagree4

Oracle,

I thought you said that the damiao deal was already done and was being announced in days?

Agree3 Disagree3

Oh god, get me to the doctors really quick . I have just read the Oracle and agree with most of what he has said apart from Damio ! Ade is not only a liability but a greedy total waste of space, who doesnt deserve to wear our shirt !!
Davo

Agree7 Disagree1

Damiao is coming, nothing has changed, just want Adebayor put of the equation completely.

The Oracle

Agree4 Disagree3

Dear Oracle,
City are subsidizing Adebayor's wages. I believe that arrangement would end if we were to move him on. What club in their right mind would take on Ade at his full wages even if he banged in 20 a year let alone 4 or 5 (his current pace)?
I suggest you get used to him because without some ridiculous engineering by Danny Boy, he's going to be a Bentley or Jenas sized millstone around our neck until 2015 when his extension expires.

Agree1 Disagree4

Adebayor has no contract or subsidised wages with Man City. When he sign for Spurs we paid Adebayor £4m of the total £9m transfer fee. Man City therefore received £5m and Adebayor entered the Spurs wage structure of £87, 500 per month. There are many clubs interested in his services at £80-£90k per month, but we would need £9m to offset our costs. On paper £9m for Adebayor on a 3yr £80k contract would look very tempting. I just hope we manage to orchestrate a deal and focus on our new boy Leandro Damiao.

Daniel levy to put in last min bid for edindzeko

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Why last min. There is still neatly 3 weeks left.
If true, why not a bid now.

Agree7 Disagree0

Would love this, we seem to only be linked with young talent, we need an experienced striker

Agree6 Disagree1

Its the wages that's the problem

Agree3 Disagree1

I doubt Citeh will let him come to us ...might just the goal scorer we need. In fact I doubt Citeh will sell him the way he has been finding the back of net the few times they let him out.

Source? I really like the look of him and would be a great buy, but, we still need some experience who can guarantee us goals
