Harry Redknapp has been told he only has £15m to spend this summer. Any money raised from transfers won't be given to Harry. Modric will only leave for at least £35m plus a striker. Drogba will be the striker if Chelsea pay the £35m. The rumours of Harry handing in a resignation aren't true as of yet. Giuseppe Rossi is Spurs main target.

I very much doubt that. I believe its just down to levy wants to get rid of the deadwood before committing to more wages.

IF Modders was to go to Chelski plus a striker, then £35 mill and sturridge would be my choice as stated when we go a goal down(which we do alot so please get a quality CB this window he goes MIA or reckless) where as Sturridge has the motivation to get stuck in and fight for his place. I would not want modders to go but 35 mill and sturridge bye bye modders good luck, use GDS as his replacement(with a run of games he will show why we bought him) and use the money for a CB or 2 and Diego forlan(my other choice) :-) foxspur

Ed, is there any truth in the robben rumour? I personaly would love, rate him very highly when fit

His wage at them moment is 80k a week i think we can afford that {Ed008's Note - It's no where near 80k a week try around 100k our limit is 70k and would only be broken for Modric unless Robben came to replace Modric plus the transfer fee would be really high.

Ed, whats the latest on Luka Modric? I think he's made it pretty clear he no longer wants to play at WHL. Were do you see him going when he inevitably will leave?
{Ed008's Note - He won't leave for less than £35 Million Pounds and "if" he does leave Man Utd or Chelsea. No interest from abroad their scared off the transfer fee. I could see this transfer saga going on for the whole summer. Personally i feel his agent had a word with Modric over leaving.

Hey ed,
Would Pjanic be a good replacement for Modric, and why is there no news on people like Bentley and JJ leaving the club, they are just deadweight and need to be sold.
Really cannot wait for these new wage structure rules, transfers may actually become exciting.
{Ed008's Note - Good player for a good price. I think we have a replacement in Kranjcar though great player for us when playing. I like Montolivo would love to see him come.

Anyone else think that shane long of reading may be worth a punt as a back up forward?especially as the brazilian deal is no longer on.
not claiming that hes the 20 goals a season striker we're searching for but he
reminds me of a young lineker/greavsy type.
he may well be the type to progress each time, as he steps up in class.
wouldnt be to expensive, fee wise or wage wise and lets face it, cant be worse than those we currently pay fortunes to each week.

My Uncle knows a lot about spurs/spurs management through his good mate, he told me Raul Meireles is a new target for Tottenham and is a good possibility of an agreement being made. If this is true i'm keen. Raul is good with passing etc, good replacement for skanky Luka

Arjen Robben is going to be sold by Bayern Munich this season and is a target for us. Bayern Munich are selling a few of there players this season to bring there wage bill down. Robben is on 80k a week at the moment and we are very interested. As a Boy Robben was a spurs fan and said he modelled himself on Glenn Hoddel in 2007 when us and Real Madrid were going for him he chose Real Madrid because he wanted to keep on playing Champions League football, but in a Pre season match he claimed if Real Madrid didn't go for him he would of taken a pay cut and joined his favourite club Tottenham. Bayern want 26million about the same amount as Hazard. Robben wants to join his Dutch team mate and friend VDV. this move could also trigger a Modric bid from Bayern which could be around 27million plus Van Bommel which i think is a very good deal. Robben can play Wing and and attacking midfield and Van Bommel who stated last season he wouldn't mind joining spurs plays center midfield
