ED002 are w einterested in signing Benat of Betis? {Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid, CSKA, Chelsea, Fenerbahce, Arsenal and Wolfsburg have also shown interest in Benat. Txiki Begiristain has, as reported, an interest in taking him to Manchester City. It is beginning to look like the summer would be more likely.}

Eds

Have you got any genuine transfer news for us spurs fans hoping we will finally sign a quality creative midfield player and a centre forward. Please. anything.

WelshYod {Ed002's Note - You need to read the posts WelshYod, but I suspect there might be a move for Min.}

Ed, any updates on Leandro Damiao, Willian, Moutinho And Negrado?

Cheers mate {Ed002's Note - I don't see anything new about Damiao. He has complex ownership issues so it will not be an easy ride for any potential buyer that wants to negotiate a low fee. I cannot see it happening. Perhaps Hamburg's Heung Min Son is a more viable solution.

Willian's situation is getting complicated as Shakhtar are still looking for 35M euros for the player - the same figure that scared off Spurs in the summer - and are actively trying to get Juventus and Chelsea involved in some sort of deal whilst the player has failed to return to training. At best he will be expensive and perhaps Zaha is a more viable solution.

Spurs lost Modric but stalled over a summer move for Moutinho. Whilst I understand that interest from Spurs remains and efforts are being made to strike a deal, they will need to not only stump up whatever fee Porto think is right but also do a hard-sell on the player, as Moutinho has hinted a move to PSG would suit him best - and PSG are interested.

Sevilla's Negredo could be sold if a significant bid is made for the player. Chelsea had representation at an early December match against Espanyol in Barcelona although I understand Negredo only played for part of the game. They retruned to watch him again in the match with Real Sociedad before the holidays and have declared their interest in striking a deal for the player but have since placated Benitez with Demba Ba. There is also a chance that Arsenal may look to Negredo as an alternative to Adrian Lopez to avoid becoming involved with any "bidding war" with another club. I am not aware that the "well documented" talks with Spurs are any really much more than speculation at this time but Sevilla would certainly be open to an offer and I would suspect Negredo would be happy to move to London.}

We won't sign any of those players.

What about putting a bid in for Lukaku? Scored some goals in the premiership and looks like he is further down the pecking order now that Chelsea have signed Ba. He would
Be the perfect replacement for Ade.

Believable6 Unbelievable9

I think Lukaku would be a great signing, but I can't see it happening in a million years. That boy will develop into Chelsea's first choice striker over the next couple of seasons, mark my words.

Agree8 Disagree2

Never going to happen that's chelseas striker for the future and won't be sold to spurs

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Agree4 Disagree3

Internacional are now ready to complete the Damiao to Tottenham deal. Caio has now completed his transfer and will join Diego Forlan upfront.

At last we have our man, now go win Willian Mr Levy.

The Oracle

Believable6 Unbelievable14

I'd trust only Ed and a website on transfers! Apart from the official site obviously!

Agree4 Disagree2

Let's hope all the third party interests in him don't screw it up like they did with Moutinho last window. Every thing I read indicates ownership of Damaio is even more convoluted.

Agree3 Disagree1

But, remember what his agent said about him leaving, and AVB as well to that point. However, from what I've seem, AVB keeps his cards close to his chest, so I won't rule it out just yet.

What is the truth abt this player one day its on next its off stop keep mucking abt get a bloody decent forward in and fast if he dosent want to come say bi bi p.o and
move on to some one o

wh
wants to wear the shirt,

Agree0 Disagree3

Now ed.. you should have removed that website part completely.. it's looking dumb now... but anyways.. what do you think about that who we supposed to have already signed in the last 3 windows? {Ed002's Note - It is the result of the swear-o-thon. Leandro Damiao remains of interest to several clubs including Spurs, PSG, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Inter, Milan and Juventus. Lyon, Arsenal and Barcelona seem to have dropped any interest they had in the player. The summer saw rejected bids from Spurs and PSG. Spurs, both Milan clubs, Roma or (much less likely) Juventus may force a move - and these remain the most viable destinations right now. His club value him at an unrealistic 60M euro which they obviously won't get anywhere near - and they don't want to sell. He has complex ownership issues so it will not be an easy ride for any potential buyer that wants to negotiate a low fee. The player says wants to move to Chelsea but their interest would only be there if other targets were not achievable, but they have taken a look at him.}
