What's everyone's thoughts on the RIO
Rumour ?

Believable5 Unbelievable19

Personally I think its a load of b*ll*cks. Wages would be too high, absolutely no sell on value which Levy hates. On the other hand, we are a bit short of good but injury prone centre backs aren't we?

Agree0 Disagree0

The one thing we definatley dont need is yet another injury prone old man at the back (sorry Ledders), especially one as over rated and as past it as Rio. Dont get me wrong, on his day he was one of the best in the country, but that ship has long since sailed.

Flippit.

Agree0 Disagree0

What rumour? There is'nt one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why let go of Woodgate to get another high wage injury prone defender with no sell on. I seriously doubt this will happen.... Cahill on the other hand, I would love at the Lane. kaboul, Dawson, King and Cahill, great CB's

I wrote an article many weeks ago regarding the Olympic Stadium, and was ridiculed by so many for stating that the West Han proposal was a smoke screen. Spurs were always moving to the Olympic Stadium and now finally you might start believing me.

There will be a minefield of government and company proposal tennis before Spurs open there new stadium for business. Do not believe the press hype that will obviously include nonsensical possibilities for West Ham and even Leyton Orient. They are not even at the races and only Spurs will be considered in reality with dressings of political correctness.

On the transfer front the following will happen:

Gomes, Pavlyuchenko, Jenas & Bentley will all leave Spurs. The former two in January and the latter two possibly in January or after their season long loan spells.

Harry Redknapp believes Dos Santos could provide options and wants to keep him, he is unsure whether to sell Krancjar as he believe Pienaar is a better balance to LM.

The players joining are the following:
1. Akinfeev - Possible in January but more likely at the end of the season. Spurs believe that Freidel and Cudicini are the perfect players to mentor a young star, but we need to find the star first, and Akinfeev is the target man.

2. Leandro Damiao - The deal has been done and at £12m is the best piece of business Spurs will make.

3. Gary Cahill - Typical Redknapp skulduggery which will demonstrate once again how clever Levy and co are. Cahill will join for £14m in January and provide the future post King.

4. Adebayor will join the side following his successful Liam spell. A wage restructure is certain but sign on fees will balance this deal.

The above 3 are certainties along with the stadium. Additional options include the sale of Van Der Vaart and the
acquisition of Hazard or Jesus Navaz.

The only other discussion surround Cissokho and Bastos as possible replacements for Assou Ekotto. This really concerns me as we have one of the most consistent and talented players ever, that is not receiving the praise for his outstanding contribution. Sadly I feel Cissokho will join but I would prefer to allow Kyle Naughton or Justin Rose to develop a foothold in that position.

Anyway the future looks amazing for Spurs with the quality bring improved once again and the gap between RED and WHITE getting larger each week. I have heard a rumour that Bleach is sold out in all Highbury and Islington stores!!

So, the Ryder Cup golfer Justin Rose has taken to showing off his footballing skills at the Lane has he? Guru? Get yer facts right, mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leandro deal was rejected at over 12 million

14 million for Cahill
Go help us all ... He will have half a year contract left even in a bidding war it would struggle to get to 10

And you mean Danny Rose

Agree0 Disagree0

Leandro deal was rejected pre season becaue they wanted him for a title challenge. This deal was always happening and like the stadium before this will happen and you will eat humble pie. Gary Cahill will go for Ł14m with less than a year contract as he is already regarded as one of the best CB in Europe. Samir Nasri had 10 months left and went for Ł25m so I fail to see your logic.

Once again the responses on this site are lacking depth and full of pathetic cristicism. I hope ED can confirm I made a big play on the future of the stadium many many weeks ago and that was after the West Ham bid was accepted, I then stated again that this was a smoke screen and people ridciuled and laughed as the Spurs court case was thrown out. Time has proven who was correct and yet none of you can openly admit you were wrong. So Tottenham Olympic here we come and Damiao and Cahill will sign for Ł12 & Ł14m respectively. I just hope we can show real ambition and secure the services of Hazard and really challenge for the title. {Ed001's Note - you don't sign a name, it is impossible for me to confirm your identity when you don't put anything in the email field of the posting form. IP addresses change over time, so I can't go on those, sorry.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well ED just confirm that an article regarding the stadium was written by a guy called The Oracle (Which is clearly me). I stated that the court decision would be over turned and the stadium would eventually go to Spurs.

I have added my email for you ED.

The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree0

Who cares about "The Oracle" ? You should be on Sky Sports News.....sweeping up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where to start with this rubbish? Firstly, the latest Olympic stadium developments make it less likely we'll move there (thank God) WHU can now rent it without spending 20m on refurbishment and keeping the running track has now been made a condition of rental making it even less attractive to Levy who has always stated that Spurs would never have a running track round the pitch. As for Leandro, the very fact that teams like Barca and AC have expressed vague interest plus his impressive start to the Brazilian season means his price is way over 12m now, although we could have had him for 14m in the Summer but Levy started pennypinching. As for Cahill one of best CBs in Europe you must be on LSD, he's been poor so far this season and the idea of Levy paying 14m for a player with 6 months on his contract is laughable. The fact that you get Justin Rose mixed up with Danny Rose doesnt do wonders for your credibility and wtf is a liam period? And to put the tin hat on it Oracle is a ridiculous, poncey, pretentious name.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dear Mr Oracle.

An informative post sir (madam?). I do remember the post that you refer to and at the time i thought it foolish at best. Yet you return with the same claim, even after recent developments (ref the stadium) and seem so certain. Given this and your name, please can you give us doubters more reason to believe what you share with us by telling us just how and why you are so sure. Until then, i will not slate you for sharing your opinons with us (after all thats what this site is for) but remain unconvienced.

Up the Spurs.....!

Flippit

Agree0 Disagree0

Let me make this absolutely clear so there is no more confusion.

1. The stadium was always going to Spurs and what you are seeing is merely the chain of political manoeuvres to provide authenticity. Please stop believing the hyped press articles, and start thinking for yourselves with a little help from The Oracle. We are talking about a Ł500m government investment which cannot afford to remain empty due to arguments over running tracks and refurbishment. The loan terms that Spurs WILL sign have provisions to bear the costs of refurbishment to a 60,000 all seated including refurbishment. This part of the deal is guaranteed and only the implementation structure is still opaque. Spurs are considering two significant changes. The first is an all weather roof which would provide a real atmosphere, and the second is a high tech retractable seating facility which could support the economic viability of athletics as well. Please be under no false illusion that Spurs will move to the Olympic Stadium regardless of whether a track is maintained or not. The Crystal Palace athletics option is not their prefers athletics choice, but the ball is firmly in Levy's hands. There is still one further twist yet to come, as Levy is considering allowing West Ham to move there for the first season whilst Upton Park is being renovated. The deal would allow the Olympic Stadium to be converted during this season as West Ham wouldn't require the stadium capacity. I sincerely hope this level of detail provides you with more clarity.

2. Of course I meant Danny Rose and even those lacking education knew that. Typographical errors are always possible when you write lengthy educated posts. Those of you that write short insult heavy garbage should refrain from asking stupid questions.

3. On the same idiotic reply regarding another typographical error 'Liam period'. Quite clearly it was meant to read loan period but once again predictive text on iPhone keyboards can sometimes result in a few mistakes.

4. For those lacking an IQ over their age, I will help you understand the transfer confirmations. You are correct that Damiao is setting the Brazilian league alight, and this will undoubtedly attract the scouts from top clubs, but you are failing to listen to what I am telling you, so perhaps I will spell it out in a more simplistic manner. Damiao is joining Spurs in January for Ł12m. The handshake deal has already been done in the summer on the basis that he stays until January. you also seem to forget that Spurs and Internacional have a Strategic Partnership Agreement. This means that Spurs are contractually offered players like Damiao and cannot be gazumped by other clubs . International are highly unlikely to want to upset Levy when you look at the partnership benefit sharing of Spurs resources in marketing, promotions, trade opportunities, media and public relations support packages.

The Cahill deal in an ideal world could be much lower with such short contract. The issue is when you are looking for someone good enough to replace Woodgate, King and ultimately Gallas that is the premium you pay. Cahill will join in January for Ł14m and after 6 months I am sure every Spurs fan will believe he was worth every penny.

I hope that this clears it up and when February cones you will remember this post and start thinking, DAMN that guy called The Oracle is a living legend.

The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree0

OMG what is this person doing back on here? surely after mugging himself off wth his predictions of the last transfer window he would have moved on to the Spurs Community board! Ding Dong now run along you butler and try and seek some help for that condition known as bullsh1tit1us....

Agree0 Disagree0

An Oracle is normally a person considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic opinions. You might want to change your name to The Lunatic.

Agree0 Disagree0

This very sick individual needs help! his self gratification of himself is very worrying. There are keyboard warriors who's life is the screen in front of them, lets not take the p!ss out of him but offer him advise for seeking help as he certainly needs. Now come on "oracle" cut those apron strings and getin the real world!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dear Mr. Oracle.

I believe I asked you to explain WHY and HOW you are so sure. Your usual long rant just repeats YET AGAIN what we have read from you many times before without dealing with a single question asked. Big fancy "politican / lawyer" words neither impress nor concern us. The way you type gives the impression that you ARE one of the above. So forgive me for not believing a single thing you type - sterotype not withstanding. Your many insulting undertones are now boring (and you wonder why people are rude to you? - time to start looking closer to home my friend). Please answer the questions that have been put to you.
Namely -

1. Why are you so sure
2. What is your source

And answer them fully, in no uncertain terms without the same old non-comital repatition. If you wont or cant can do this then do us all a favour and just BORE OFF.

Flippit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Once again three silly responses lacking anything other than insults. What you meant to say is sorry, we flagged you off when you faced the most improbable stadium reversal.

Sometimes one is not at liberty to share with you the confidentiality or identity. Just watch the stadium reversal against all the odds prove that many months ago someone knew more than the press. Equally when the transfers and the exact fees are confirmed you will probably say I am lucky.

Anyway for those who seek quality information the details have been shared. Short of telling you my name and profession, you have far more than you should ever wish for. Damiao and Cahill here we go.

Your master
The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree0

Oracle AKA "12 year old boy sitting in his bedroom, with his computer as a friend" Ahhh.... seriously do not waste your time writing about something you have made up in your head or second guessing events that may happen or may not! you have no inside information , everything you have posted has been utter
b0!ocks apart from a bit of paper talk. How sad can you really be? As for calling yourself "master" and "oracle" shows that in deed you are a very insecure individual! now that is a fact!
Listen to the voices in your head!

Agree0 Disagree0

As Flippit says mate - time for you to do one and BORE OFF.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hear there is a meet and greet with the "oracle" in the Billy Nick before the next home game , he will be the one with his mum and a bottle of coke with Crouch on he back of his shirt!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey you guys, just give him a break. Some of the stuff he says may come true. Everyone was adamant Dimiao was to be signed (even Ed said "done deal by close of transfer window) and many of you posted back in August. We are on this site for rumours. If we wanted facts, we would just wait for SSN to confirm it. Thats what the news is for.
The substantial transfer fee seems unlikely, I would guess 10 mill, but if City sniff around just to cement champions league from us, or liverpool, then 14million seems very likely as we/liverpool will not pay it, and city can afford to "over bid us".

The stadium, I hope this is not true, I don't like East London. end of.

Naz

Agree0 Disagree0

^^Naz....jog off. This Oracle has got previous on here. He needs booking into a clinic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Once again they write insults with absolutely no substance other than to abuse. They are correct I have previous on this site stating the stadium was going to Spurs only to be ridiculed by the same armchair imbiciles who insult and add nothing of any value themselves. They insulted me then and when the stadium eventually was awarded to WEst ham the same clowns called me a 'Retard' and a 'Loonatic'. I tried to explain that the fight was not over and the stadium would be reversed and they called me 'Deluded and foolish'. Now the Stadium has been reversed they want to forget that and talk about some other mysterious previous history.

I told them Damiao would join, way before ED confirmed the same. ED was absolutely correct the deal did look like being finalised for January but there was a desire to hold on until January for the reasons stated above.

I stated that Crouch, Keane, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, O'Hara, Bentley and Woodgate would all be sold. The only Reason Pavlyuchenko was not sold to Sunderland was becasue of the same Damiao deal that nearly happened.

Cahill, Damiao and the Stadium will happen and they will call me lucky and say that everyone knew it all along.

So I challenge all you clowns who do nothing but insult to explain the following:

1. Why are you on the site ? If you are seeking superior knowledge of developments but then seek to ridicule and close you eyes to anything other than what you read in The Sun newspaper or Daily Mail, then what is your purpose ?

2. Write one thing of interest on this site that is related to the rumours that it is designed for. Add on single piece of value outside of cut and paste from the back pages of press articles.

3. Stop and ask yourself for one minute, is the Oracle a Spurs supporter ? I can assure you I support and love Spurs and was trying to give you inside information and you seek to attack your own.

Anyway thank you Naz and the others who supported me and soon you will see the Stadium and players quoted will all arrive.

The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing you have ever predicted has come to true! That is a fact and in black and white! You are a very delusional individual and quite honestly very sad. Insults are thrown at you for a reason and that is to stop posting you fantasy’s and thoughts on here anymore.

Agree0 Disagree0

Once again a factually incorrect statement and insult nothing more from you.

1. Predicted the stadium would be reversed even when everyone ridiculed me after it was awarded to West Ham.

2. Told you Spurs would buy Damiao way before the press posted a link, and that will come true in January.

3. Told you we would sell Crouch who has gone

4. Told you we would sell Keane who has gone, albeit the figure was higher than the final amount.

5. Predicted the exits of Woodgate, Bentley & Jenas. I did state they would be sold and still believe that this will be the case after Villa needed time to rebalance the finances for both players.

So that is what I have posted and you have added the following:

1. Insult
2. Insult
3. Insult
4. Insult
and
5 Insult

Thanks but I think the real people who use this site for the right reasons will find my posts of slightly more value than yours.

QUOTE - "Thanks but I think the real people who use this site for the right reasons will find my posts of slightly more value than yours.

The Oracle "

Your posts have absolutely no value as once again you side step the real issue, which is why others on here mock you. SO I'LL ASK YOU ONCE AGAIN -
1. how come you are so sure ?
2. what is your source ?

I assume your answer will be either (A) non existant or (B) the same nothingness drival that you normally spout.

Flippit.

Oh, by the way - Master or Legend you certainly are not. Boring snorefest is much closer to the mark. {Ed001's Note - why are you asking for a source? If he genuinely has a source, then he would be unable to reveal it or risk never getting any more information from them again.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to laugh at you Flippit becuase actually the 4 people who agreed with me all wrote sensible posts. If you amalgamte those who foolishly seek to mock genuine information, there are 4 replies.

Sticking to the facts more people agree than disagree with my post. Even ED who is always professional and fair has explained the situation to you, but you seem to continue to push for things that are already clear.

Dearest Flippit if you took a little longer to read the posts above from me you would see that I have already answered your question in as much detail as possible. So just to help you understand it I will simplify it a further time. So stop this time and think about what I write:

'One is either in the know or simply guessing or wishing for certain things to happen. Some predictions are obvious, but others stand against all odds.'

What I am telling you is I am not guessing or wishing, and the stadium should be enough evidence for any sensible person to understand.

the funny thing is that you already have your answer if only you thought about it. For my post is either a total guess in which case we are both wasting our time, or it is from a reliable source. So stop and think for a moment before writing another insult and ask yourself who would make the decisions at Spurs over transfers and stadium purchases?

ED - As you will know even the most certain deals struck behind boardroom doors fall through. You yourself correctly indicated Damiao was coming to WHL and that deal collapsed in the summer against all odds. There is a chance the stadium will become inhabited with the Dale Farm residents, or the Thames could flood and wipe out East London entirely, but realistically time will soon demonstrate the reality. ED thanks for your sensible intervention and hopefully even people like Flippit will soon start believing.

Kind regards
The Oracle

Agree0 Disagree0

This is like a parallel universe for football rumours for the “oracle” he has never stated anything that has not been the press previously regardless of what he says. He must have too much time on his hands to sift through every website paper and that goes along with the theory he is very lonely individual and his world he really does believe he is :
Your Master
Your Legend
The Oracle

However back in the real world where the opposites apply the reality is as follows:
The Peasant
The Loser
The wannabe ITK

The self gratification that he proceeds to give himself is enough for me to know that he is just trying to fit in and be one of the boys! He is essentially a social outcast.

With the number of responses to his original post there was one that defended him and as you can see he has highlighted this , that’s because of the very slim pickings and i have a feeling Naz might be another alter ego....

He makes reference to other persons being interested who are these persons as i have never seen them on here?

Flippit has asked many questions and not one has ever been answered , i think that says it all. We can all hide behind a computer screen and be a keyboard warrior like the “peasant” because we are faceless but why give him the time?

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to say i am suprised by ED , he makes a valid point about the source but we all know this wannabe ITK's only source is the one his mum puts on his chips! so why entertain? {Ed001's Note - then we will all know in January, why bother letting it wind you up? If you think it is nonsense, then either skip past his posts or read them for a laugh. But all this insulting him does nothing for anyone, save the insults for when you have proof he is wrong. When Cahill signs for Chelsea or whatever, then you can drag up his post and all give him pelters, until then you are better off waiting.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, he does not wind me up at all, and hope you did not take any offence. I and i think you and many others find his posting/rants highly amusing but there comes a time when you can only take so much BS - do you not agree? As for the inevitable outcome of the January transfer window and Stadium decision he won’t stop when proved wrong once again. He will post more drivel on this site pretending to be an ITK and i bet i guess his next subject - Harry for the England job and who will replace him. Cannot wait for that instalment.... {Ed001's Note - once proven wrong his posts will just get posted in the dodgy section or in banter. If proven correct they will continue to go in rumours.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed i think we know where this rumour will end up - dodgy section here we come! In fact i was thinking maybe you can have an automatic for this guy? once he has posted his posts get sent straight there , i am sure all would agree

Agree0 Disagree0

Strange how there are more people who voted for agree than who voted for disagree.

ED you have summarised it perfectly, and in January when it is clear you will all know the truth. I doubt they will admit they were wrong when the time comes, so there is little further to say.

January window closes - Mr Oracle take a bow for the crowd. Flippet & Co press their chins to their chests as the leave the building with their tails between their legs.

Agree0 Disagree0

OK I am not the same person as Oracle I assure you that, I just usually do not sign my name off.
1) I defended Oracle because of the exact same reason as Ed summerised just now, there is a chance for it to happen, so let us see us if it happens before you insult people. Do we really need to insult another spurs fan?
2 Calling yourself "the Oracle" is antagonising in the first place, but a nickname is just a nickname. having your signature like
"your master
your legend
your one
your only"
now that's just as bad as the insults, and fueling the fire. stick to just "the oracle" in future please, then hopefully people will not take such offence to your posts.
3, the amount of people who post their "source", do we really believe them anyway? would his post be more factual if he said " my source is my girfriends friends father of the stepson is Levy". Or what if he said he is Levy? nope, it makes no difference at all, as we have no means to determine if the source fact is true in the first place.

Naz

Agree0 Disagree0

Dear Naz

Thank you for your kind words and sensible post. I started signing the post as The Oracle until people started their verbal nonsence. You are right I perhaps did see the opportunity to fuel the fire with my extravagent arrogant effervescence.

One thing as certain as death and taxes is I will remain a devoted Spurs fan until the day I meet my maker. Spurs fans have sadly been fickle and it is something that undermines the fabric of the club.

January is drawing nearer and soon you will embrace me and then you will surely know who I really am. For when the adversity of my predictions and the accuracy of my results become apparent, even the most doubting will have the vision to realise the answer was there all along.

Come on you Spurs

Dear. Mr Oracle

Quote “Dearest Flippit if you took a little longer to read the posts above from me you would see that I have already answered your question in as much detail as possible.”
- No you haven’t, all you have done is repeat press speculation.

Quote “January window closes - Mr Oracle take a bow for the crowd. Flippit & Co press their chins to their chests as the leave the building with their tails between their legs.”
- No I won’t as have no reason to. You keep saying that I

3. Insult
4. Insult

Quote “January is drawing nearer and soon you will embrace me and then you will surely know who I really am”
- I look forward KNOWING who you are, instead of just a “I told you so….”

AND LIKE I REPLIED LONG AGO – I HOPE SOME OF “YOUR PREDITIONS” DO COME TRUE. BUT YOU SEEM SO INTENT ON BEING A VICTIM THAT YOU MISSED THAT BIT DIDN’T YOU…..?

I cannot be bothered with this, or you anymore. I have more important things to do with my time - like watching paint dry. See you end of January Mr O.
