ED - Not heard anything on Cahill & Damiao that remotely suggest they are coming in January. Internacional are adamant Damiao will stay. Cahill is obviously still possible but reports suggest that Juventus are in the final throws of signing him.
So Mr Oracle (Ceefax) your arrogant confirmation that these deals were done along with the Olympic Stadium are beginning to look wrong. Is that the reason why you no longer post on this site as you begin to realise your guesswork has come to an end.

Anelka's agent will try to secure a 3 year deal with Tottenham who prefer a one year option. Looks like they might end up in the middle at 2 years.

Well it that is true then his agent wouldn't be speaking to Tottenham. I agtrr a 10.5m deal with Shanghai look nice, but he has always wanted to play at the top level and is still only 30. {Ed002's Note - Anelka will be 33 in March and I know there has been no agreement with Chelsea yet, so nothing is firm. Nic has had a couple of firm offers (one from Shanghai Shenhua one from Zenit) and he has met or spoken with several clubs (Anzhi, Impact and PSG to my knowledge and there may have been others) but none have made firm offers as far as I am aware. He will not have spoken to any English clubs at this time. I really don't see Liverpool in the loop at all and I very much doubt that the club have had even a thought on the matter of Anelka. I can do no more than suggest that if I were a gambling man I would put my pound on Anelka joining Shanghai Shenhua - assuming terms can be agreed with Chelsea.}
