YES, kyle naughton is at swansea to sign for them. that's 1 dire player to go just a few more to join him. also like the reports of miralles and lennon swap deal he is a top player. adebayor said yesterday he is at spurs for the money only. now that's one player I want to go.

With Walker back, Yedlin joining us and Dier and Chiriches also able to cover at right back, it was always likely that Naughton was going to leave. But he is not dire: I would trust him ahead of Chiriches any day of the week.

As for Adebayor, he is the most frustrating player at the club, but when he is up for it he makes a significant contribution.

For example, in his loan year he worked hard to make an impression and his general game was good. He also scored 17 goals in 33 league games (0.52 goals a game) and 18 in 37 overall (0.49). There weren’t too many strikers around who did better than that.

It was the same last year, when he scored 11 goals in 21 league games (0.54) and 14 in 25 overall (0.56). In fact, the only players who did better overall were Suarez, Aguero, Sturridge, Van Persie and Dzeko.

If we could have relied on that form, there would have been no hurry to replace him and we might have been more cautious about spending so much on Soldado.

But sandwiched between those two good seasons was his Annus Horribilis, when his overall form was poor and he only managed 5 goals in 25 league games (0.20) and 8 in 34 overall (0.24).

Having said that, he probably still performed better that season than Soldado has managed since joining us.

I would rather Adebayor stayed and played well than left, but the fear is that he will stay and do nothing.

Since he seems determined not to go anywhere we just have to hope for the best.

Problem is KM, Naughton should have been good, never made the progress that he should of made, and yes he is dire! Saying that, yes he is better than Vlad, so that shows how Vlad is!!

The big difference between Ade and Soldado is one plays for the fans, team and club, the other plays for himself and his pocket! I wonder which one is which??

All that being sad KM, the club had a little bit of stability when Ade 1st arrived & the team spirit under Harry seemed far better than it has been since Soldado's arrival.

I also think if Soldado would have played under Harry he would have scored for fun.

I don't think the recent managers have played to his strengths & that being said he needs to work a little harder, go looking for the ball more.
