According to sky Sports 'Arry has asked for special dispensation for submitting the transfer papers late claiming it was a "technical issue" which had caused the delay.

So it wasn't the fact the Real pulled the plug an the loan move 5 minutes before the window closes demanding transfer only? ( news now website had this info)

I can't believe this is happening. . Spurs if the FA allow the move have made one of the coups of the transfer window! WTF was SAF thinking? How could he miss this bargain? That " no value in the market" bulls* t won't fly with this complete oversight!

I can see Spurs being champions league qualifiers again next year.

Wish we had made this signing but congrats to Spurs for pulling this one out of the bag!.

2 MAIN PROBLEMS WITH SPURS THAT HAVE TO BE ACCEPTED WHETHER YOU DELUDED FANS LIKE IT OR NOT AND THEY ARE F***ING UP YOUR CLUB. THIS IS A REALITY CHECK:

1. Your injury defensive crisis seems to be a big problem for you to progress. I understand how this can really drag you guys down due to the arsenal fans experiencing this a lot over these past few seasons. with king and woodgate very injury prone and then another injury-prone player comes in (gallas) who is solid when fit, still does provide a reassuring defence.

2. Your experience of playing with the big boys. This problem was seen with the first leg of when you played against the Young Boys. This could have been nerves (very likely), but there are now only 3 people in your team with champions league exp. gomes, crouch, and now gallas. Experience plays a VERY VERY big part in the outcome of the match. whether tottenham have the necessary amount remains to be seen.

*The only good thing that Mr. Harry is good at, and that is that he is VERY good on the transfer market and is very sharp like that. there's a consolation for you there.

P.s. I don't really care about your comments if they start slagging off arsenal or wenger or our history etc etc.

How can you go on like were the kings of football im a true arsenal fan, season ticket holder for over 10 years and every arsenal fan can see NO PROGRESSION. WE should be challenging for trophys. finishing top 4 every year without winning anything is a UNSUCCESSFUL season for us. if we drop from top 4 ONCE players will leave and we'll be fighing for a top finish instead of naturally being there. watching my team play every year, theres NO doubt were not the team we were.we may play attractive football but were not winners. if we play attractive football and win nothing what does that tell you. how can you call galas a reject. Despite already ruling out a deal for Scott Parker to Tottenham, David Sullivan is looking to sell Valon Behrami and Matthew Upson in return for Robbie Keane, Jamie O'Hara and Giovani Dos Santos + £4m.

This deal will not go through until the last week of the transfer window, but the clubs are expected to be meeting in the middle of next week to work out a deal, which will be useful for both parties.
