Is this the old avb.
I'm starting to question his tactics.
He likes possession football high line and closing teams down.
He has had 100 mil to bring the players in to do that.
For the second season now we are not scoring
Take away bales goals last season and we have the same problem.
So why does a more robust team lose 3-0 at home to a team with no natural striker.
Dave is right t have 75 mil on the bench
His subs at times are very strange indeed
He never changes a formation during a game to get results
Jose today went 3 at the back to win the game in the last 10 min ( a master stroke )

A common denominator in all 3 goals, Dawson! Bad positioning in the first, bad positioning covering walker in the second, and the schoolboy attempt at a tackle for the last!
Yes, we had conceded only two up till now, but how many should have it been?
It seems like every time we concede a goal it is dawson thought but never gets any credit for the things he has done well cut him a bit of slack the whole team was poor yesterday
Again dawson has done well since nearly leaving but again at fault against chelsea if you are marking terry you must concentrate on the flight of the ball be very strong in the melee and never ever let him get away from you as he scores time and time again in those situations. but generally if someone scores one of our defenders will be at fault. dawson seems to be the fall guy so far let's get chiriches strong enough and disciplined enough nad let's have a look at him because new three year deal or not if chiriches is good enough he won't be replacing vert

Writing has been on the wall but the clean sheets have papered over the problem ie. we can't score goals. 1against Crystal Palace, an injury time goal against Cardiff and NONE at home against mighty West Ham. I also felt the attitude was wrong coming in to this game "AVB is not taking West Ham lightly". That should be a given. NO premiership team should be taken lightly. We do not have the Man U instinct of burying the opposition and never letting up. Replacing Delgado with Defoe was a bad decision. We saw Defoe last year and he was hopeless in the second half. Yes he scored a few goals against hopeless opposition. Delgado is a top class striker but he is not getting proper service. Whatever is our problem scoring goals we need to sort it out. Even the bottom clubs can score more then us. Having 60% of the play and being beaten 3 - 0 at home is dreadful. Maybe our style of play needs changing. We have dominated play in almost every game but can't score goals. I hope I am not being too negative but I am dreadfully disappointed.
When did we sign Delgado
So man city poor opposition r they defoe scored against them among others? and u said no team should be taken lightly then call them hopeless but agree it is concerning about lack of goals

Why do we still start with Townsend ffs
When we have a 26mil replacement begging to get games ( Lamela).
We lost badly today because of the manager
Defoe can not play the loan striker.
Townsend and naughton dnt deserve to start.
Avb insists on a formation and does nothing to change a match or a game. yyyyy
Go with 2 striker when we are loosing ffs.

Walker isn't fit
Defoe can't lead a line this was a game for Soldado
We just just look laclustre no urgency.
Didnt deserve to lose but hopefully this is a wake up call for some of them
My opinion only but we need to build a team to gel and move on.
Soldado, holtby, cappoue and lamela need to start now for the expense of Defoe, Siggs, dembele and Townsend.
We need to stick to this line up.
Example, soldado nit been scoring but has massively improved our movement up front and Defoe has been a spurs player, on and off, for years. How he can drop soldado after 6 league games is a joke. You have years if Defoe records to look at, not 6 games. The above dropped players are great bench players. The starters are game winners and are part of our best 11 and they just need the consistent chance.
Hopefully it was a massive wake up call today and will maybe rain us all in a bit.
One thing is for sure, tottenhamland is a weird place to live in.

Was going to wait until later but sod it! Does anyone know if AVB is in love with naughton? What does he have to do to get dropped? He is a bigger liability than Benny and still gets picked? And why isn't Chiriches playing? A massive improvement on Daws, and still on the bench! Oh, please don't get me started about no look up when I can shoot myself Defoe? Oh well, £75 million on the bench, all brought by AVB, Hmmmmmm
Davo, when you say a bigger liability than benny, naughton is a defender and we have conceded 2 so far. not that bad, but I do think avb has recognised we need a new left back that is definitely an area that needs improving but at the moment naughton is our best option with kabouls being out fir, otherwise vert coukld have stepped in. chiriches is definitely not ready for the prem, did you see the game on thursday against average competition so that is why he is still on the bench. defoe has earned his right to start, he keeps scoring and regardless of opposition he is the confident one. you have no patience as it is only half time. calm down man and let avb do his work

Ps DD, posted that before the game started . Naughton has been found out in every game he's played this season, after about ten minutes each time! He isn't a left back, not really a right back either, can't kick it with his left foot, and shouldn't be playing! Yes, AVB knew we needed a left back, we had no cover, should have sorted it!
