To Oracle.
Spurs will build 3/4 of our new stadium whilst we still play home games at the lane. We will then move into a 3/4 finished stadium (which will already have a higher capacity than WHL even though only part built) while the lane is demolished before finishing the building of the "higest bidder stadium" during the following off season.

The diagrams and plans where posted on the official Spurs site along time ago that could be seen by all. It was under the future plans section covering both the new training ground AND the stadium.

Bear in mind that -
1) We own all the land.
2) We have spent millions of pounds demolishing and making safe.
3) We've done all the plans.
4) We have secured funding from council.
5) We have nearly secured funding from an as yet unnamed middle eastern source to help fund the build.
6) We didn't even enter a bid for the Olympic Stadium in the properly run second bidding process. Leyton Orient and The Spammers where the only football clubs that did bid.
7) Daniel Levy has openly said that if we couldnt demolish and rebuild without a running track, then we wouldnt be interested - the track hads to remain.

Etc Etc Etc.

Considering all the points that I have politely raised (in particular number 6), would you please explain why it is you keep persisting with your Olympic Stadium claim.

I have asked nicely, yet some how I cant but think that you wont answer at all, other than your usual claims of being picked on.

I want to know why do you keep persisting with it? Why keep putting your head on the block over and over on something that is so obviously nOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Please answer the question. I await you reply and hope that I/we wont be waiting long.

Still waiting........

After Marcelo Bielsa has left Bilbao, do you reckon players like Llorente, Munian, Herrera are more likely to leave?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

If they come our way then hopefully

Should we sell VDV?(If we have chance to find a replacement for him excluding siguroson)
agreee or disagree?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

No, only if a ridiculous bid that is like double we paid for him comes in. Since it won't, I hope we dont sell. I hear there's this thing called squad rotation, and apparently it means everyone in the squad gets decent game time. Don't know myself, i'm not sure harry would approve

^ the last bit of that comment made me chuckle ... Thank you just has a s**t night and work and needed it

once AVB gets settled and a confirmed transfer kitty i reckon he should raid the Portuguese clubs, some cracking (affordable) players over there with the likes of

Moutinho (Porto)
Bruno Cesar (Benfica)
Witsel(Benfica)
Gaitan (Benfica)
Van Wolfswinkel (Sporting)
Rodriguez (Porto)
Varela (Porto) {Ed001's Note - I am not sure either Gaitan nor Rodriguez can be classed as affordable!}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed if you consider that we are being reported to have in the region of 40-50 million to spend not including any income from sales then I think we can class them as affordable! I'm hearing Damaio,Ganso,Oscar has anybody actually see these guys play on a regular basis or just going by hearsay and youtube videos, the guy's i mentioned have CL experience (except Van Wolfswinkel) and would be far better options but that's just my opinion

who would people want more for their relative prices, oscar or moutinho?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ganso .

Agree7 Disagree0

Oscar for me though dont know much about him but fits in with our young potential policy, sandro came from same club and has done great hopefully oscar can do the same.

Agree2 Disagree0

Oscar all the way... Mainly because he's 5? Years younger ... More re sale value

Agree1 Disagree1

Moutinho all day long. One of the most underestimated players around.

Hi eds I hear we have stolen Fryers from united .... Although he's put of contract ... I'm just hazarding a guess that he's not really great else they would have tied his contract up ? Any info on if he's going to be good cover for benny would help thanks {Ed001's Note - he turned down a contract, hence why he is free, excellent player.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Alex is said to be very unhappy about this which shows how good he must be..poor Alex..never mind.

Agree0 Disagree0

United offered him a pretty low amount of just £6k a month. Compared to what others were getting was very low. If we didn't have Blackett then the manager would have offered him a better salary to keep him. When you consider Cleverley and Welbeck were offered £15k a week, it was an amount he couldn't really agree to.

i know all the talk is lets sell modric abroad which i agree with, if we could get hiquian and cash then all good, but on the other hand if that doesnt meterialise i think whoever we sell him to we should get a player we need as part of the deal if we offer him to city in return for ade and adam johnson plus cash we should go for it. i know people will say dont wanna sell him to a prem team but lets face it if money bags city dont buy him they will only go and buy someone as good anyway. Ade and johnson would be great signings and if avb pulls of a couple of the players were linked with along with these 2 and the vertongen deal going through are squad will be fast and exciting. im sure city would do that deal if they want modric that is mattyid

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Let's get 1 thing straight....spurs cannot afford the wages of the likes of Higuain, i know Bale is reported to be on £110k but Higuain would be looking for £150k+ we need to be looking at the likes of:
Ade
Demba Ba
Luuk De Jong
Daniel Sturridge

Agree1 Disagree3

Come on, think about what you have just written! If we were daft enough to give him to City for a couple of their players, who exactly will we have to do the job of Modric? Isnt that the whole point? If a player leaves, you have to replace them with a comparable player, its no good replacing a midfielder with a striker any more than you would a striker for a goalkeeper. The fact is, IF Modric leaves, we will have to find a player of his ability to replace him and that will A) cost a shedload and B) will probably mean we will have to pay them an awful lot more in wages than we pay Modric now. Lets not talk about player swops, lets talk about getting a decent mount for a player that does not want to play for us anymore, lets consider selling him to anybody but our rivals and lets make sure that we get as much for him as possible so that we, at least , have a chance of bringing somebody else in good enough to do the job he has done. Im totally uunconvinced about Johnson and not overly enamoured with Adebayor who scored goals " in bulk", you know, two in one game, bog all in the next three then two again. We need a striker who is consistent in every game ( if possible) and, TBH, Ade is not neccessarily the answer. Just my opinion.

Agree4 Disagree2

Super yod i know we gotta replace modric mate if we did that deal we would still need to spend big to replace him i think these players would be good for us, but if we can sign better then you wont hear me complaining mattyod

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair enough, I see where you are coming from fella. Thing is, for me, If you start doing player swaps and the like, it becomes a case of you getting what is about at the time. Personally, you sell a player and you use the money to buy a replacement, that way you can look everywhere and anywhere. As for Ade and Johnson, we now have a new manager that may well convince other strikers and wingers that our club is the place to be, in other words, why restrict your search to just one club when you have the Worlds professional football leagues to hunt for suitable players? I dont neccessarily subscribe to the belief that Ade is the best striker we can get for the money and i certainly dont think Johnson is the answer to our prayers. At the moment, its all conjecture, the players that we would have assumed would come onto our Radar with Redknapp may not with AVB, blimey, do we actually know if AVB rates Ade and Johson? They may not be the kind of players that will fit the system he envisages. Time will tell.
