Believable0 Unbelievable0

We've won two European trophies. Get your facts right-
League titles A.F.C 13 Spurs 2
F.A. Cups A.F.C 10 Spurs 8
League Cups A.F.C 2 Spurs 4
Europeans A.F.C 2 Spurs 4
C'ty Shields A.F.C 12 Spurs 7 (though that's being generous because you shared 3 to our 1)
FA Youth cup A.F.C 7 Spurs 3
TOTAL

ARSENAL 46 SPURS 28

HOW'D YA LIKE THEM APPLES?

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal and Spurs are both big sides with great tradition. Rivalry is great but keep a little respect for your opponent and then beating them is all the sweeter.

Ever been to the Anfield trpohy room by the way?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why, what have you won recently?

Maybe Sherwood will relax on 4-4-2 a little when he's got game-time into certain people and returning injuries. Personally I think he's trying to play Soldado, Ade, Eriksen into form and get them all understanding each other and other players. Also giving Dembele a role where he has to really step up to try and dominate against an opposition packed midfield (as opposed to always being part of 3-4 Spurs bodies to just pass the ball sideways 3yards to like under AVB).
Yesterday was drab and disappointing because of the opposition but it didn't even look like the lads were particularly up for it. They should have made an exception because of the opposition but I can't help feeling they didn't really go for it. They're getting carried away with their good form, they're a long way from a trophy still and have peaked already. There isn't another gear for them so they need to maintain the past few months' pace for another 4months yet.

The comment above says arsenal were in top gear, you must have been watching a different game arsenal could have gone up another 2 gears you were that poor .not being nasty the fact is you never looked like scoreing and like all season you struggled to create.the main difference yesterday arsenal played as a team spurs are a group of individuals trying to win a game,

I'll agree we were poor, but I haven't seen the Arse play 2 gears up from were they were yesterday, better yes but not a lot better. I also doubt that the current collection of individuals we have will ever be a functioning team, the pieces just don't appear to fit together.

Right now balls over the top of the back 4 with pacey forwards will shred our back line every time.

2 gears above napoli ist c/l game we were awesome in the first 20 mins .you really should of gone to spacesavers mate .

Can anyone understand the decision to choose bentaleb ahead of capoue we were doomed as soon as that decision was made.
Dembele ended up doing the ball winning work. Capoue has been good each time he has played and that was a complete school boy error. Bentaleb has a bright future but a spot on the bench is OK but starting was ludicrous in my opinion.
Who plays 442 against a good passing unit without a natural ball winner in the team. Then when they are slicing balls through never to even change it. Is Sherwood going to be as stubborn as avb was.
Sherrewood lost us that game first yesterday Danny rose second.

THFC$EVER I would even go as far as offering Soldado plus some cash to ath Madrid for diego costa
i agree with you on Lamela. I think he is going to be a great player, he just needs more game time in a confident winning team

Well if nothing else at least this result hopefully shows to tim and levy that a new LB is required ASAP.

I have never thought that Rose was good enough and today proved that.

Thought Bentaleb looked ok and Eriksen looks to be getting better with each game, hopefully once everyone is fit we will start to click, the only thing I am worried about is that in bigger games the 4-4-2 formation leaves us light in midfield, and eriksen seems to have a free role as he wonders all over the pitch.

Hopefully January will bring a new good LB and a couple of Strikers. With a few leaving, think Chadli, Defoe, Dawson, Naughton and Rose would be good business to ship out along with Gomes. Personally hope Lamela doesn't leave as I like what I've seen of him.

Totally agree! Sell that lot ASAP please!

I don't understand why there is so much negativity towards the team! We won at Old Trafford a few days ago and had to play one of the most in-form teams at the Emirates!
I watched the game and don't think that it was as one sided as everyone is making out! There were a couple of decent chances for Soldado to hit the target which could have resulted into goals and Eriksen was through 1 on 1. I really don't think people are being fair to Spurs or Sherwood! I like how we are playing under him so far!
Arsenal can claim it was a second string team but ours was even more injury hit with at least 6 potential 1st XI out (Vertonghen, Kaboul, Sandro, Townsend, Holtby, Lamela).
Got a decent shot at the Europa League and are picking up good results under Sherwood in the league so I'm going to try remain optomistic.

Are you blind! We just won against a poor Utd team and was totally overrun by Arsenal in the middle of the park! How many times Dawson got beat for speed I don't know, happens every time we play against a speedy centre forward! Yes we have a lot of injuries, but how many of them will Sherwood actually pick when they are fit?
