no I don't want a mega rich owner just a better one than we have got eg always selling our best players sacking the manager every season promising us a new stadium for the last 5 years yet to be built so I think I have made my point

Well I don't think you have made your point. Let's address your comments.

Selling our best players; from this I will take it as Berbatov, Modric, and Bale. All three of them were desperate to leave the club. All three of them kicked up a big fuss during the transfer window to get their desired moves. Berbatov was so unsettled he was dropped for the first two matches of 2008 before his transfer went ahead. Modric told the media he wanted to go to Chelsea. We did manage to keep him for an extra season but we all knew he was going to leave. And I'm sure the Bale 'injury' is still fresh in your memory.

So what choice did we have? They all wanted to leave and we got good money from the transfers. How is this different from when Manchester United had to sell Ronaldo to Real, or when Arsenal had to sell RVP to Man Utd? What other chairman (other than a mega rich one) could have stopped it?

So onto the manager sackings. I personally disagreed with sacking Jol, but he'd had 2 attempts to get CL football, blew them both (not entirely his fault) and the chairman saw someone he thought was better. Ramos of course was a disaster and had to go. Redknapp did well, but after publically courting the England job then refused a 1 year extension and that was that. AVB showed promise and potential and was backed this year, but his slow style of play and inability to deal with Ade led to his leaving. Nobody was available so TS was given the interim position.

So again what would you have done differently? Man Utd, the former paragons of keeping a manager decided to dump their new one after 1 year of not achieving. Real Madrid make a habit of getting a new one every 3 years. And of the all the managers in league football in England, only 20 or so have been in the job for longer than 2 years.

And finally regarding the stadium - just google all the issues that have come up about Spurs trying to get businesses relocated. Look at those refusing to move and taking out legal action. This is why there are rumours of rebuilding on the existing site and us playing elsewhere for a year, because clearing out that amount of land in London is crazy. In the valleys there is plenty of space, but in the capital it is ghastly. Seriously, an hour of research will make you realise how difficult this process has been. If you have any suggestions on how to speed up the process then by all means feel free to share.

On the other hand since ENIC took over we've consistently been in the top 6, challenging for CL football and playing in Europe. We're the 6th richest club in the PL and we've been outperforming that until this season where it looks like we will be at the level we should be. You may feel that we deserve CL football, but we don't - nobody 'deserves' anything.
