agree with spurski rip dave mckay. didn't see him play but told by the older generation that he was a top player. plus he was a player of the famous 61 side to do the double first. plus the first brittish club to win a european trophy says it all about him.

Just like to pay my respects to Dave Mackay a true THFC legend.I am old enough to have had the pleasure of seeing him play.He was the best all round player I have ever seen in a Tottenham shirt,he could do just about anything on a football pitch.RIP.

Totally agree, a true legend and leader . Why can't they make real players like this now? He must have watched the pussy players now and laughed his socks off! Most of the forwards nowadays would have been crying after 5 mins!!
On today's game, and the fact that we haven't got a winger worth mentioning, how about we play this team ;

Plenty of pace, cover for the full backs, and they can switch with each other as well, there you are Levy and Mopo, and I don't want any wages either!!

Give the job to davo. I like the look at that team lots of pace and good cover aswell. linford christie would struggle to keep up with the speed in that team lol
