So who was the best player for spurs last night? My thoughts are Soldado, Dembele and Stambouli. Thoughts people?

Agree with Soldado and Stambouli, not sure about Dembele! Not a bad result considering 5 or 6 of the team shouldn't be allowed to wear the shirt!

Soldado and Stambouli for me also. Dembele I can't make him out, seems to possess the ability just not the motivation. One would imagine in a game like that he could stamp, his authority on it, but I came away feeling underwhelmed by him (and Paulinho) again

I wish Dembele would play further up the field. His strength, low centre of gravity, and ball control means that he can muscle through challenges, but that means nothing when there are still 4 defenders and 2 midfielders between him and the goal.

Soldado played well, just wih he'd relax before shooting. You can see him stiffen up and scuff his shots. Best I have seen from Stambouli yet as well, he really impressed. Lamela had a good game. But my motm was Lloris - not the busiest night for him but was solid and that save!

Yeah, Would have to agree Soldado & Stambouli looked good. Stambouli looks comfortable on the ball. both feet which is nice to see.
Dembele doesn't do it for me.! He's to hit & miss, He's never really bossed a game in his entire Spurs career he just seems to lose his way. I know you could argue move him up the pitch. but even when he's just outside the box he still doesn't get a shot away.
