RE The Oracle, whats wrong with Justin Edingburgh? He was good.

Believable11 Unbelievable0

He's doing a good job as manager of Newport County, looking good for promotion 2 football lg, has them getting ball down playing good football.
I woundnt pay any attention to oracle if he thinks Daniel levy will pay 20ml + for a striker who hasn't scored a single goal since Olympics he's deluded, oh yeah great bit of business that 20ml+ for someone who has been outscored by city misfit Jo, even seedorf has more goals in brasillian LG this yr.

Kind of felt Dempsey just needs to settle. Quality player just needs a break and people off his back

Agree2 Disagree0

Dempsey is playing in a different position to that at fulham.
hes being asked to operate in the hole at whl, whereas at ffc he was on the left ,cutting across and in.
because hes playing centrally, hes often playing with his back to goal, whereas at ffc he was generally running/facing forward when receiving the ball.
hence his displays have suffered.
plus he didnt really have a pre season which probably hasnt helped.
ive no doubt his displays will improve as he adapts to his position,he certainly has the pedigree to.
siggy will also improve given time.hes now a little fish at a big club which can effect a players confidence.again,he has the ability to improve and prove a great player at thfc

Anyone know of any news on sandro? did he get injured yesterday?

Assuming Demebele's fit for wednesday do people think we should keep hudd infront of the back four with moussa behind the striker, or stick to dempsey behind defoe and put dembele in his usual position alongside sandro (or hudd if sandro's injured)??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Against liverpool I would stick with the same back 4 as today, play 2 holding midfeilders in Hudd (Parker if fit) and Sandro. 3 in front of lennon dembele and bale with Defoe up top!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but we're at home, i reckon we should be more agressive and play dembele as part of the covering two, that way he comes with runs from deep and links the play. Plus dempsey had a good game yesterday

Agree2 Disagree0

Lloris
walker dawson caulker vert
lennon dembele sandro (if fit) bale
dempsey defoe

this should be team against liverpool if sandro not fit then livermore.

Would rather Friedel in CM than Livermore the way he's playing

Agree3 Disagree0

Livermore r u taking the p!$$. if Sandro (who is immense at the mo) is not fit (but hearing he is) would play Hudd or Carroll instead of Livermore. Really hoping 'arry comes back for Livermore and Gallas in January
